Came check out Chris's Diner and left with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the service is wonderful--the staff is so friendly and makes sure you are well taken care of. The space itself is massive, so there's plenty of room, and looking around at all the fun decor kept us entertained while we waited. However, the coffee and the food just didn't hit the mark for us and lacked that classic, hearty diner flavor we were hoping for. We stopped by for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised! I ordered the "Build Your Own Omelette" with egg whites and it came out just how I asked so I'd give it solid 8/10. Used to go in there all the time food was really good. Service was great and then all of a sudden their Food took it downhill and the last two times I had been in there. The service was terrible so the other day I thought I'd try it again to see you know, any improvement When I won and I could only recognize one of The servers. The others were all new and they always had the best onion rings beer battered so I don't get an order of onion rings. I came here with a colleague or a friend of mine do you have breakfast and I had my dog with me which by the way is a service dog as soon as I walked in I wasn't even greeted by anyone of the servers there was probably about 4 to 5 servers who noticed me With my dog and none of them decided to say hi after waiting about 15 minutes. I hold breakfast places in high regard and always have high expectations and this place held its own! The food was very good and the service was very good as well. My friend and I were able to order French toast, eggs, breakfast burrito, and coffee all for under $25. Coming from CA that was a huge surprise to me and added to the experience. When you walk in, they have plenty of tables and the theme is "HOTROD/CARS" which adds to the overall ambiance. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. read more

Best omelette I have ever had. They had their special of the day- steak omelette and it was incredible. This thing was FILLED with steak. It also had peppers and onions and they were grilled perfectly. The hashbrowns were great... the scones were great... and the banana pancakes were fantastic. They even made chocolate chip pancakes for my kids. The decor is adorable, the scene was nice and it was only a 20 minute wait on the 4th of July morning. I was very impressed. read more

The food here is really good and it is all fairly priced. It's about average for anywhere you're gonna go. My server was a very sweet lady. She kept on top of my coffee and she made sure it was hot. Food mediocre, very friendly waitresses but the owner Chris is rude. We've been loyal customers for awhile and he's says good morning to everyone but purposely bypasses our table every we are in there. We tip our waitress generously we never return our food when it wasn't made as we order or even say anything and this happens a lot. The cooks get upset and will slow down getting orders out if they are upset with the owner I've heard this many times. Making wait time over an hour. We have decided we are done with this place. Great place to eat! Had Sunday brunch and had the Eggs Benedict along with a awesome Utah scone. Chris was our sever as he notice we sat for a bit and our order had not yet taken! This was do impressive being proactive about your business! This really impressed my socks off! Eggs Benedict was excellent and I loved the their hollandaise sauce - eggs - perfectly done and healthy size servings! Utah fried scone was also very big and very good - a meal in itself. I found my new favorite breakfast spot! We were greeted as we entered this cafe by two lovely ladies at the hostess table. Chris' Cafe has a family-friendly vibe. Our server's name is Megan. Very nice and uproachable. She asked us if it was our first time, and we said yes. We exchanged words asking us where we were from and if we checked out their today's specials. As first timers, we had questions about our chosen meals for breakfast on how they were prepared. I chose the Breakfast Loco Moco, and my BF chose the Loaded Eggs Benedict. Megan explained it very, leaving my mouth watering before I even said, "I'll take it ". Our meals come nice and hot. Presentation on plating had my mouth drop. Megan came each time, making sure we were ok too. So her customer service is spot on. Even the manager came by our table to check up on us and refilled our coffee. Awesome hospitality, by the way! The food here is typical diner food which we like. The biscuits & gravy are pretty good, fluffy biscuit with a creamy white gravy. Banana pancakes are where it's at, so full of banana flavor ask for peanut butter to round out an exceptional flavor. Service here is great, so friendly, coffee and drinks were always full. I ordered take out for Fathers Day. The place was packed, people standing everywhere, sitting in cars and in the parking lot. My order was quoted to be done in 25 mins so I headed over right about then. I had to call from the parking lot as there was no parking anywhere and I didn't want to block anyone in if it wasn't quite ready. The guy on the phone was amazing! Great customer service and helped me get in and out very quickly. The food was really good and hot when we got home. My lack of star is their scones are lacking. If you like typical diners, this is your place. The decor is clever and they have a fallen comrade table, which is always a tear jerker but a tear jerker in a good way. They have set menu items and also daily specials. We've been there about six times, because it's close to the house and there aren't very many other choices in this area. We received 10 percent military discount every time we visited, except for the last time. We were told that the military discount is a free soda and has always been that way. We don't even drink soda but we mentioned that we received military discount in the past but she didn't even acknowledge that statement so we left it alone. read more
