Saturday November 1st 2025. Went to Candy kitchen. Got some taffy. Regular and sugar free.

Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! This place has a fun and nostalgic vibe, perfect for a quick treat. The fudge was rich and creamy--definitely the standout. I also grabbed some salt water taffy, and it had that perfect chewy texture with a great mix of flavors. Friendly service and a nice variety of sweets to choose from. A solid stop if you're in the area and craving something sugary!

This place has a bunch of different things for a small shop. Of course this is a tourist town everything is going to cost more. It was $10 for non-pariels where most places would cost half that. but they were very good. My daughter got some jelly bellys and I got some zotts candy.

    Purchase 1lb Taffy

Never been so disappointed in customer service. Purchased a box of 1lb taffy for my family. My friend also purchased taffy and came out of the store after me. She mentioned she received a punch card for a free hat for purchasing a pound of candy. She said the worker just gave it to her. Feeling like I missed out, I walked back in and asked if I could get one as well. I showed them my friend's card and asked if I could get one. They told me the pound of taffy that i bought does not count. I looked at the card and it only mentioned buying 1lb of taffy to be eligible. The workers response sounded odd so I asked her to clarify. Apparently it's the loose taffy on the wall only. She stated you have to purchase a pound and a half of the loose taffy. Once again, nothing on the card said that except to purchase a pound of taffy. Her responses all sounded odd but to follow the rules I asked to return my box of 1lb taffy so I could purchase the taffy that qualifies. At that point all 3 of the ladies behind the counter ganged up on me. So when I returned with my 1 1/2 lbs of loose taffy to qualify, I paid & then I asked if the punch card was in the bag? They stated I already had a card- which I explained was my friend's and it was how I knew about the deal. They then passive aggressively called me a liar, saying I had no "friend" but was a repeat purchaser and they couldn't give me another card (even though the punch card only states per purchase and not per person). They then aggressively gave me a card and told me to go back to my "friend" and kept saying "bye" & "have a great day" with a lot of attitude & very loudly to drown out my extra questions about what else I needed to do with the card. I simply started out the encounter by asking for clarification of the punch card and why it didn't have anything about "exclusions may apply" etc. since my 1lb purchase didn't qualify. I really don't care about the hat, but I thought my kids might like to get the "prize" from it, but goodness they made the experience incredibly humiliating and called me a liar with no basis. There was No yelling from them but they very disrespectful. Even if I was the first person (as they said) who ask for clarification on the card, why treat me like that? As I walked out they sarcastically joked about me finding my "friend". It was Such a weird interaction and disappointing that the workers were so disrespectful to me. Again, their sarcasm and accusations weren't necessary for me simply asking questions.

    Chocolate covered Twinkie

Visited today for the first time and I was so happy we stopped in. The service was fabulous, the women working were super sweet, the prices were good compared to other candy shops I've been to in other tourist towns and the treats we chose were really good. I had a milk chocolate covered Twinkie and it was really good as were the chocolate covered pretzel & chocolate covered Oreo I also tasted. We will definitely be back.

I love this candy store! They had so many options that were sugar-free which is hard to come by in smaller stores. The taffy, buckeyes, & truffles were really good. I was able to get my diabetic uncle some sugar-free treats which is amazing. The store is very cute and I will be coming back!

Pretty, but no flavor that resembles what it supposed to be.

Paid 4.99 for each piece of the boozy truffles that just tasted like sugar. Need at least some flavor. the dark chocolate is good, but the flavors were not there. Also tried the Raspberry. It's flavor was very faint, just sugar. Very disappointed. Do not recommend unless you really like sugar. The boozy truffles were very pretty, but again Just sugar though. The champagne truffle was almost like a salted caramel. But no presence of champagne.

Always consistent, old fashioned candies made with top quality ingredients! You can actually stand and watch the old fashioned equipment make taffy. All the chocolates are mouth watering. Excellent service and smiles

Neapolitan, Tigers Blood, Caramel, Oreo, Vanilla, Chocolate Peanut Butter

I came in with intent to try fudge for the first time, and it was a great experience! I got a pound and a half for 20$ and they had great variety. The best that I tried were the Cookies and Cream, Tigers Blood, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Personally, I did not care for the Caramel, or Neapolitan, but that's probably just personal preference. Overall a good place for some house-made candy, with fairly competitive pricing.

Don't expect much as far as service. It seems they're understaffed and not very concerned about customers. When I visited the first time there was a large family putting in a large order with one woman. The only other person working was very slowly packaging candies. The whole time I was there, standing close to her and very obviously needing assistance I don't think she even noticed me. Eventually, another large family came in and the other one still wasn't finished placing their order. I gave up and left. I returned about an hour later, close to closing. They were already covering the fudge. They seemed quite ready to be done. I wish the staff were better about greeting people upon entering the shop and making us feel welcome. I certainly didn't feel that way. I was really hoping to sample and purchase some of their fudge. But the vibe just made me uncomfortable and unhappy.

Cat truffle. Cute but not tasty.

Its a fun little store located in a great little area. We bought a few chocolates. The peanut butter cookie chocolate was very good but the truffles were terrible. Don't get me wrong..they were cute...but did not taste soft or fresh. Prices were about what I expected for a candy shop in a major tourist area.

Great fudge and cheap prices! I tried the peanut butter fudge, cookies and cream, snickers, and peanut butter explosion. All 4 were awesome!

Well beside by an ice cream souvenir dish $12 and get a mini sundae. It was well lighted, and okay on candy choices, it was like $19.98 a pound of candy (self serve) , the staff was not friendly. So over all experience, we keep looking for a candy shop we want to return to in town.

This place isn't what it used to be. No homemade ice cream. No chocolate covered strawberries…read more Jelly Bellies (primary reason we went) were $19.99 per pound! I can get them on the Jelly Belly website for less than half that! The one thing good I have to say is that their pralines are the kind I like most (really buttery tasting and dry/crumbly rather than sticky/chewy). But it was nearly $30 for 6 pralines and one small candy package for my kids. Communication was also difficult as the people there struggled with English and they didn't seem very friendly. We didn't buy any Jelly Bellies and left disappointed. I'm so sad because this used to be our favorite candy place in Pigeon Forge. Also, the prepackaged Jelly Bellies were $6.99 and we found them at the candy shop inside Dollywood for $3.99. Never imagined a shop inside a theme park would be so much cheaper than a standalone shop. It's like they don't want to sell anything.
