So much candy! This store is filled to the brim with sweets, treats, and unique beverages. I love walking through these colorful stores and always try (unsuccessfully) to resist buying candy. This time I bought black licorice jelly beans and some weird beverages (like ranch, Buffalo chicken wing, and dog drool). Prices are typical for similar establishments. We were already in The Island and stopped in as we walked through the area. Overall, pretty typical candy shop that you will find in touristy areas. Worth the walk in to admire the colorful atmosphere and unique selections.

OMG. I get why I see so many kids having a meltdown after their sugar high wanes after a few hours of running around the island. There are so many carby stores on this island, but this place is completely dedicated to sugary sweets.

Smells like candy the second you walk in. I would definitely go here again. They had all kinds of candy, including freeze dried candy and souvenirs with names on them!

Great little shop with a huge variety of candies that we can't find where we live. We always make a point to drop in here on vacation and let the kids (and husband) get a treat for the ride home. Prices are average for the bulk candy @ $4.24/quarter pound ($16.96/lb). Boxed or bagged items are significantly higher than you'd pay elsewhere in a retail shop. The staff is usually quite friendly and polite, but this visit was the exception. My teenage son was trying to do the right thing by letting them know a sour rope had fallen out of the container onto the floor and the gentleman working the register seemed to not understand what he was saying. Definite language barrier until another worker stepped in to explain. After that, we put all our little bags in the scale to be weighed and he gave us a total of $127!!! Now I know this stuff is expensive, but we didn't have 7lb worth of candy. I asked if he could re-weigh it to be sure, and it came to 60oz which is 3.75lbs. Quick math in my head told me around $60, which I expected- but he kept insisting it was $127. I said there's no way. A young lady came to the register and she said "It's 4.24 for a QUARTER pound." I replied "Yes, I'm aware...but that's only $16, almost $17 dollars." She said "It's actually closer to $20." Ummm...no. Give this lady a calculator. I turned to my husband and said even at her $20/lb it should NOT be $127 for 60oz. She said "I'm TRYING to explain to you it's $4.24 for a QUARTER pound." Again, I'm doing this math in my head, and I know at $16.96 per pound it works out to just over $1 per ounce. We have 60oz, so definitely NOT $127. Not sure what she did or if she just realized something was entered incorrectly, but she hit a button on the register and it came to $69.80 after taxes, which was much more accurate. Now that price I'll pay. But there was no apology, no acknowledgement of any error, and clearly there needs to be some attitude adjustment and basic math training. Perhaps rechecking your process should be standard when people who are capable of mental math question the total, especially when they acknowledge they understand the total price per pound. This made the experience sour rather than sweet and I'm not likely to continue our tradition of dropping by Sweet.

I took my 6 year old here last night for a birthday treat. He was the epitome of the saying "like a kid in a candy store". This place is a kids dream. I'm pretty fond of it as well. They have just about anything you could want. The employees are always friendly and the store is kept clean. It is a little pricey, but that's why candy is a treat.

My husband and I filled up a bag fully of a variety mix and then went to the arcade and ate it as we played. It was a blast! They have giant candy boxes as well. I bough giant nerds for my husband, it's a week later and he's still eating them lol so many so yummy

Do not go here, they charged me $60 for two small bags of candy. What a complete scam!

Outrageous priced candy. Almost $3.50 for 1/4lb??? It's ludicrous. Although they have lots of different varieties that price is way to high

The gummy fruit slices and saltwater taffy were a favorite, as well as the Jelly Belly mixtures.

Well beside by an ice cream souvenir dish $12 and get a mini sundae. It was well lighted, and okay on candy choices, it was like $19.98 a pound of candy (self serve) , the staff was not friendly. So over all experience, we keep looking for a candy shop we want to return to in town.

This place isn't what it used to be. No homemade ice cream. No chocolate covered strawberries…read more Jelly Bellies (primary reason we went) were $19.99 per pound! I can get them on the Jelly Belly website for less than half that! The one thing good I have to say is that their pralines are the kind I like most (really buttery tasting and dry/crumbly rather than sticky/chewy). But it was nearly $30 for 6 pralines and one small candy package for my kids. Communication was also difficult as the people there struggled with English and they didn't seem very friendly. We didn't buy any Jelly Bellies and left disappointed. I'm so sad because this used to be our favorite candy place in Pigeon Forge. Also, the prepackaged Jelly Bellies were $6.99 and we found them at the candy shop inside Dollywood for $3.99. Never imagined a shop inside a theme park would be so much cheaper than a standalone shop. It's like they don't want to sell anything.

My husband and I visited this location twice while in the Pigeon Forge area: once just to check it…read moreout and the second time to purchase some saltwater taffy for my in-laws. The temperatures were in the high 90's and we were driving. We didn't want to purchase them too early and have them melt in the car during our trip back home. The store is bright, colorful and very inviting. I love the layout and how you can see into the candy kitchen and watch them making taffy onsite. On both visits, we were greeted warmly and offered assistance with anything that we had questions on. I'd seen a video online that showed them offering a moonshine-flavored taffy, but I was unable to find it once in-store. My husband called his mom and walked through every flavored offered, while compiling a bag for purchase. I explored the rest of the store. There was a huge machine full of flavored powder candy (similar to Pixie Stix) and very large tubes that you could fill to your liking. They also offered a wide range of fudge flavors and lots of nostalgic/classic candies. I was drawn to the English toffee (very thick and rich) and I knew that my husband would like the chocolate-dipped twinkies, so we got ourselves those treats as well. They were running a special where if you bought a pound of taffy, you got another pound for free, but we didn't want or need that much taffy. The purchase wasn't as expensive as I expected, because of course everything is billed by weight, and we didn't purchase a lot of candy. I'd return again just for the English toffee. It was like a Heath bar on steroids!
