( which the they dogged the reviewer go figure why) The appraisal company called "Dan Goldberg Appraisal" equally as shady, Dan sets you're appraisal at lower value to make excuse for Ruben and Eric. Dan apprised my house 50k below value. how i know this a house across the street sold for 522k (attached photo of house across st), Dan apprised my house for 500k. the difference the house across the street is smaller in size and was under construction at time of sale (huge plywood nailed on outside of it). on a better note I'm working with a new mortgage company which instantly appraised my house at 550k, which is the normal price nothing special. all in all my loss ($500) is you're gain of knowledge, just you're regular family man here trying to make it without all these scammers around and raise a family. When I met Ruben I was certain that I will have to sell everything to survive because no one had been able to help me thus far. In November 2018, I started with a reputable loan broker/officer who owned the company. John was able to get me the funding I needed but also got me into a situation that was hard loans which closed Feb 2019. He promised me he would get me out of the loans the following year. The loans for the investment properties were at 10% and 8% for a one year term. To avoid penalties or a possible foreclosure, I started working with the same company in August 2019. He kept telling me the files are about to close at a 6% rate all the way up to Dec; totally stringing me along. By the end of Dec. 2019, I started to seek another company. I went with a very reputable firm that started off promising. Scott and his assistant told me they could close both loans in 30-60 days. I uploaded all docs on their portfolio and 3 weeks later they told me I would be better off getting an equity line through my primary residence. So here I was let down again and overly stressed. My husband then reminded me of Ruben helping us out with our loan as first-time buyers 20 years ago. At the time I thought the job might've been too big for Ruben. Well, turns out that Ruben Romero (senior officer) with Camino Real Mortgage Bankers had now grown from a small office in the city of San Fernando to two other locations (Sherman Oaks and Porter Ranch). Unlike the other officers, Ruben asked me to come in and patiently listened to my dilemma and eased my anxiety by going over a plan at the initial meeting. He said, "Your loans should have never taken over 60 days; they're not complicated files." He went over everything in-depth and I'm not going to lie but I didn't believe for one minute that he was going to get me out of this mess. At least not at the rates and time frame he was stating. The customer service is exceptional; the staff genuinely cares about helping you succeed financially. The ATM issue always comes up but I feel like it's actually a PERK with Logix, you're not limited to just your credit union's ATMs--they'll even reimburse ANY ATM fees, even in pricey places like Las Vegas when the fee is outrageous. We don't pay fees!! I've also purchased a car with cash when we were outside of the range of another Logix and you can go into another credit unions branch to withdraw large amounts of cash. If you want better rates, better service, and better access, switching to a nonprofit credit union that cares like Logix is absolutely worth it.

No, he does not say "Hello. Sorry for bothering you, we will never send you commercial offers/email again. Have a nice day" - NO. He just sends me a dry response about such emails not being a spam. Nothing else. No 'excuse me', no 'we won't bother you again'. The company want to educate you, dear customers and (of course) continue doing their thing. I'm asking Jaime: "I dont know what are you trying to say. I receive emails from you and i never asked for them. As far as i know even the company i am paying mortgage now to is not Alterra. So how is this not spam?" This request was just ignored. I found 'unsubscribe', clicked it. Some time passes aaaand... they continue send this Homebot trash. I write to Jaime again, demanding to stop. OF COURSE a decent company would just say 'sorry, wont happen again'. But in this case Jaime just replied that I must find the unsubscribe button and go unsubscribe. Erm.. what? :) So Alterra seems to think that they have the right to send whatever trash they want, ignore your polite emails to stop it, try to educate you that you are wrong calling such unsolicited commercial mail a 'spam', then harshly go command you to go and unsubscribe :) While this obviously did not work in my case. I was very clear when I told him that I DID NOT wanted my credit report ran, that I would provide him with the rating copy from Experian, my current bank statements and Income Tax returns. He assured me twice that he would not run the credit report. The next day, I received an alert from Experian about a mortgage company credit report ran on my accounts. I din't think it was from Alterra because the name of the company was Panorama Mortgage, I called the number provided and after a weird phone activity, the call finally was picked up by a woman, I explained my concern and she told me that my name was not on their system and that this was probably a fraud attempt. I called Jaime a few times and text him, finally he picked up my call, and asked a few questions about the number I called, the name of the company and the address of the company and finally admitted he running my credit report, then he told me that he had an approval, no appraisal, and will close by the end of February. I asked about the loan application and the Good Faith Estimate, he told me that they don't do "good faith" any more. After that, he would not answer my calls, rarely responding to my text and e-mails. On February 23, after many attempts to talk with him, he finally picked up my call and said that he almost didn't answer, he was going to a meeting and couldn't talk. Alterra and Panorama Mortgage seem to be on a quest to make as much money as they can, their target is the undocumented, the first time buyer and the people that have no experience with Real Estate. Jaime Tapia is a person without ethics, and will take advantage of everything at his reach to make as much money as he can. Loan Shark is his middle name. The fact that they don't disclose their rates and their charges is a good indication of their true intentions. they will rip you off. For some, they could be the only way to buy your first home, but it could also mean that the bank could foreclose and take your home back. THEY DON'T CARE.
