Very friendly staff in a huge refurbished store front makes this destination a great place for family and friends. We only had time to snack on the hummus which was creamy and delicious.

Old Mulehouse has a nostalgia-meets finger-licking-good cuisine in this eatery in quaint, downtown Jasper. Our daughter enjoyed a beer flight and we shared a very tasty, spicy pimiento chicken sandwich and a pimiento brisket Reuben. The temp/taste of both were spot-on and the extra crispy, hot fries were delicious. Worth the drive (especially if you combine antiquing in Jasper.)

Neighborhood tavern vibe out in Jasper/North GA. Love the drive out here, and love the food even more. Service is small town gracious and always properly attentive. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with tomato basil soup and my husband got the bourbon bacon burger with grits. Both delicious, and not a long wait for food (or table). We have sat on patio both times we have come, and were able to enjoy some local live music both times too. It was chilly out so we sat under a heater and I always really appreciate when businesses have those outside so that you can still enjoy the fresh air over a nice meal. Patio is pet friendly as well.

This Place was awesome! The inside of this place looked like an old factory. The food was amazing.

Stopped in at the Old Mulehouse with some friends after leaving the Jeep Fest in Jasper. We caught them at just before 3pm, so it was on the edge of Sunday Brunch and Sunday dinner menus, so the server waffles a bit between what to do. After the slight awkwardness, we did a mix between the 2 menus amongst the 4 of us. When the smoked salmon hash arrived for me, it smelled great and tasted great. It felt like it needed a little something on the side to complete the dish, but it was good enough. The other dishes looked good, and I really liked the abundance of fries on their plates. The industrial atmosphere inside was unique and appealing. Unfortunately, the spiral ductwork above the table was sweating, and I was getting a drop on my shirt and head about every 30 seconds; kind of a pain, but I just dealt with it for whatever reason. I do recommend stopping in to check these guys out, but they could use a little bit of work to move this establishment up the scale. JM

I went to this place 3 weeks ago and just had to go back. This time I had the trout entree. The trout tasted great. The ginger carrots tasted so good. I really didn't think the combo would taste good but it surprised me. The grits were nice and creamy. The server was great. The place is well decorated.

This place was so fun and the food was amazing. We sat on the nice patio and there was a live music situation happening which people seem to enjoy. The server was really cool looking to you. I enjoyed his little style. He enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for brunch.

Super cool restaurant & event space!! Great bar, cold drinks & most staff smile. Had to wait just a few for our patio table, so got drinks at that bar to start. 5 adult beverages was around $45. Sat on the cute patio (wish I had a pic). Relaxed & enjoyed my company. We were guests, and our family said they come all the time- They love it! Oh, my son was here before too & liked it a lot. Food was really good! I had fish & chips (no pic). Fish could have been seasoned a little more, but lite & delicious!! The FRIES are amazing!!! My guys got a grilled brisket sandwich & my sister-in-law got a salad & Gyro- VERY GOOD said everyone!! I see they have event space. I'd rent if needed & lived closer!! Parking may be a walk- lots all around, but not on property. A cute town setting. Do some shopping when you are finished with your great meal. I'd love to go back when in town!! I'm satisfied!

Didn't expect or desire loud live music. Food was not hot enough and the bill was mixed with the next tables.

Every person we talked to was fun, funny and just a joy to hang with. Harlow was great (bartender). She concocted this olive spin on a Hugo Spritz. Wife absolutely loved it. For me the bourbon selection was great. Got to try a newly opened Old Carter. Also dabbled in the Shackleton. Figured some exploration with one of the greatest explorers. Both were great. Finally the food. Every thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. Massive truffle fries (called chips but more like logs lol), don't sleep on the Gouda Mac and cheese, farmer fresh sliced squash and my meal, the 12oz steak on a bed of Peruvian mash potato's with shiitake mushrooms rounded out with asparagus. I can not accurately describe how amazing that meal was. You gotta try it for yourself. Andrew, we will be back.

We started with their Bread plate, a nice serving of fresh bread and a good start while waiting for our meal. I ordered a Black & Tan and it was not that, this is a traditional pub pour, with guiness and bass ale, with a distinct break between the two porter on the bottom and the ale is floated across the top. There was no break in my serving and it was not a traditional B&T. After giving the concise menu a look, I opted for the Fish and chips and a side of their Gouda and mac. Fish and Chips, Haddock, whole potato wedges tartar and ketchup with a lemon wedge. The fish was prepared very well, the potatoes like home style and the mac and cheese very good, rich creamy and tasty. The Haddock was a nice large filet, breaded lightly and tender. A good meal. A lot of folks the night of our visit ordered the Fish and it is obvious its one of their signature dishes. A solid choice for a meal in my book. 4 Stars A solid meal in a comfortable location 01286

I recently attended a wedding at Wolf Mountain Vineyards, and since I was staying in the nearby IHG/Holiday Inn Express (on the square) I stopped by Shenanigans to watch some great live music there and have a beer. As I was leaving the next day I hit the place again for lunch before hitting the road back to Atlanta. This is a pretty classic Irish Pub more suited to college students getting their buzz-on. I had been told that the food was good and surprisingly, yes the Reuben Sandwich I ordered was exceptional - juicy pile of corned beef sauteed with kraut and Russian Dressing on marbled rye. I ordered mine with a side of broccoli to maintain the semblance of eating healthy. The service was really good considering I was one of the first two people there (seating took a minute) with a great server who came by frequently to make sure my needs were met. The food came out almost instantly - less than 5 minutes after I ordered, with a steaming sandwich and veg. I plan to explore this place more the next time I'm in town.

This neat beer bar reminds me of the crowler shops that you used to find around Atlanta, with around 30 taps containing about a thrid local beer, so you can sample several local breweries without visiting each one (they're mostly not too near each other so this is very convenient). The taproom "beertender" seemed to be fairly knowledgeable regarding the various offerings - there's also a convenient list highlighting the different beers with style notes. We sat at the bar and were able to bring in some food from the nearby restaurants (I grabbed some wings at the nearby Marthie Ann's which were excellent). To drink I tried Hoptown's own Orange Mango Wheat - a somewhat basic wheat beer with hings of sweet tangerine and mango - nothing special. I had a Maine Brewing "Lunch" with the wings which is always a winner - it's an exceptional New England IPA.
