Customer service sucks, the cashiers are always rude and so are the managers, I will take my business else where for now on.

I'm not from Chicago, just visiting. So I was unprepared for the spring snow storm and that meant…read moremy little one didn't have the appropriate clothing for the climate. We have a once upon a child in Mississippi where I live, and honestly they could learn a thing or two from this store. They had wonderful customer service and a relatively organized store. It was clean and I was able to maneuver through the store with my stroller. The reasons I didn't give them 5 stars is the prices on some items were just ridiculous and some items needed to be cleaned. Also the tagging and price tags were often missing or in wrong section. In addition to high prices, messy items and misleading price tags the little boys department is lack luster. Maybe an eighth of the little girls section. But the experience was still worth it because like any thrift store you find your gems, and like I said the customer service was superb. I will with out a doubt return before I leave in hope to finding some more bargain items, and would recommend this store as long as you are prepared for the semi dirty items, wonky prices and tagging and lack of little boy items.

They have carts for convenience, an associate came around a couple time asking if I needed help. Wall to wall clothing. Lots of new with tags items. They have shoes, hair accessories, lightly used toys. Reduce, reuse, recycle is the name of their game. If you're on board with saving the planet or just want to scoop something without paying full price, for sure-stop in! Plenty of parking.

I quite enjoyed this mall! It seemed to have a great selection of clothing and specialty stores…read more The food court was smaller than I expected, but it did have a good variety of food. My friend tried the chinese restaurant, and for what she paid, the helping was generous! I highly recommend you look up the store directory in advance and try to park close to the ones you want to visit the most. There's multiple entrances, and if you're a first time visitor, it can get overwhelming.

Louis Joliet Mall is the biggest place to shop in this big suburb. Has a lot of places to go inside even with many being closed. The quality of the stuff isn't is good as it once was and there's not much good other than seeing a movie. Better malls are certainly around but this one has a lot of interesting history about it. It's been around here since 1978 with it being one of two malls that had opened recently. The other was Jefferson Square Mall, which opened a few years earlier and closed in 2002 and was demolished pretty soon after that. Has gone through a few anchors. There's a Cinemark movie theater, JCPenney's, and Macy's. Basically the theater opened in 2009, and has since brought in the most business. There also used to be a Bergner's and Sears. A Sears subsidiary actually financed the mall's construction. There's been many instances of vacancies. The Carson's closed in 2018, but reopened later. Panera Bread, T.G.I. Friday's, and Tilted Kilt have closed. The Sears closed in 2019 and has not been replaced. Got to say it's been around for awhiles. It's not like it once was but it's still hanging on. There's still lots open but there's also tons of vacancies.

Yikes! from the second you walk in they are on you like white on rice. They bombard you with clothing options, "Here try this" Me: "No not really my style." Them: "How about this, I'll put it in the dressing room." Meanwhile in the corner assaulting my son with sweaters and beanies. Finally you have to say, "I'll let you know if I need something." At that point they usually storm off in a passive aggressive way. I have talked to my bestie who confirmed the anxiety that goes along with entering Buckle. I get that they get a commission and that's how they get a portion of thier income but I and alot of my friends are in agreement, just take it from a 10 to a 5. I don't want to completely resort to online shopping but unfortunately they have lost a loyal customer.
