I was greeted quickly when I walked in the door escorted to the baby registry desk, where her list of items needed was printed out for me and explained where everything was based on the print out. Since I didn't want to spend too much time in the store the representative called ahead to *Sara*to greet me in the bath Department so I could purchase the items that I was thinking about for my gifts. Great employee team work. Sara greeted me and I showed her the 4 items I was hoping to buy and they were in stock. My shopping experience was less than 30 minutes. Thanks Sara !! :) I was happy to purchase the items within my BUDGET. They were not expensive at all: Infant bathtub, bath mat, bath tub spout AND 6 pack of washcloths. I was able to use a 20% off Buy Buy Baby coupon, and 3 yes 3 Bed Bath & Beyond coupons for the other items. So great savings! The store is very organized everything was in stock and so easy to follow within the isles of where items are. The signs are clear to see for the areas to make purchases whether it's feeding, bathing, toys, bedding, clothing and gift wrapping. It's a definite plus of a baby store compared to Babies R Us, and Target !

She refused to look up her rewards number to verify the purchase (so first of all, I lost a percentage of my money) and secondly, she held me hostage to purchase another item that day and refused to give me a merchandise gift card. I was so shook up by how badly I was treated (almost like she "caught" me doing something wrong), I was in no mood to shop. In all honesty, I picked out a few random things my son didn't need. I will never shop at Carter's again (or at least the one on Hall Rd.). I did call corporate, but not sure they were willing to do anything? I tried to verify the policies. In order to get money without a receipt, even if it's a gift, she suggests to bring in the person who bought the gift for you.....I thought that would be pretty insulting. Update: okay.....I emailed 6/21 and awaiting reply. Updated: I heard back very quickly from the corporate office and it was great to be heard! I appreciated their response!
