Not very welcoming bar unless ur a regular or a biker that's 47+.. Lady clearly can't check ID to save her life. Rude, unwelcoming. It wouldn't be so bad if the staff was more friendly. Clearly by past reviews it seems like a normal... rude bartender... If ur a normal human that doesn't want to be treated less than just go across the street honestly. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady working the bar was EXTREMELY rude and did not attend to my group and I for at least 15 mins whilst sitting directly in front of her. She had a demeaning and aggressive tone when she finally asked us 'what we wanted'. The place is full of interesting people, and while cheap, you definitely get what you pay for... anyway I would never give my money to this business again because the service was horrendous and the drink this lady made was also terrible. read more

My mom and I went here because we saw reviews for good bloody Mary's and the atmosphere looked like a fun bar. Chatted with some nice people at the bar and they gave us their seats. Once we sat down a lady informed us there was a shift change, but the other bartender continued to serve drinks to people directly in front of us for about 10 minutes. We even said hi and asked him about the drinks he was making trying to make friendly conversation. Sometimes there would be a break where no one was there and he'd still ignore us, then a new customer would walk up and he'd go directly to them. We ended up leaving not feeling welcome - must be a locals only bar! read more

Stopped into this place while on a road trip through the Oregon Coast. We were on our way out of Heceta Beach and saw this spot open. We had a couple drinks each. The bartender guy was chill and nice. I do wish there were more beer selections and the bartender didn't seem to know much about beer but I liked the place. Live music, interesting people, great staff, and strong drinks..what more can you ask for. This place is my traditional watering-hole to bring in the New Year when I go to Lincoln City and always have a great time with all the locals. Live music never disappoints. Sorry but I'm going to do a review without actually going to this place. They lost the chance at my business (yes, just because of one little thing) due to the guy that answered the phone when our group called to see if this place had Pac12 network. He had no clue if they were showing what we wanted to see nor did he know if they even had the Pac12 channel. It bothers me when bar/restaurant workers don't know anything about their menu, the channels they get or even what TV system they have. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood or I was just disappointed because I wanted to try this place. Every time I come to the beach I see this bar. Maybe next time I'll just want to drink and won't care about the tv. read more

On Valentine's vacation, there's some gal that apparently hates her job. Can't take four seconds to tell us what's available on the menu when we walked in the door at 11:40 pm Monday Feb 12th. She just pointed to whiteboard and said "that's the menu" then went about cleaning. We had questions about beer options (we have a few different beers we prefer) but she acted like it was too much work to stop and ask. So disappointing! My boyfriend and I loved this place last time we were here when we had a great guy bartender. This time tonight was a girl and we were hopeful she was cool...she ended up looking like she didn't even want to be there. Gave us mostly rude and snarky remarks and answers (news flash, just because you bartend, doesn't mean you can be rude to customers who have literally done nothing wrong). The check seemed oddly high and we asked for a receipt, sure enough she charged us for fries that we didn't get and happened to cross it off and give us the money back as she printed the receipt (little sketch), then the 3 weird $1 charges for two shots. My fries that I did order with the chicken strips were soggy. My boyfriend dropped a pool stick and she rudely said (as she sat on her phone) it's a quarter if you drop it. I took the quarter back and honestly wish we didn't tip 20%. We normally tip way more for awesome bartenders, that just makes someone's whole experience 10x better. Overall, it was my birthday and we just wanted a chill night but this left us pretty negative. Almost wish we went to Maxwell's instead! read more

Don't go here if you want Covid precautions. We were excited to go to an indoor location, but they let the locals run the place. People there weren't wearing masks a s the bartender wouldn't do anything about it. We asked why the regulations weren't being enforced and were told to leave. Cleaner than any dive I've been to. I'd actually eat the food they make and while I was there, many did. Fancy big screen plasmas show cheezy b movies and the decor does not disappoint. Alien blow up doll sitting on a PBR lamp next to a "tasteful" nude oil painting, anyone? A classic dive bar in central Lincoln City. Decent draft beer selection, including Dead Guy. They have a $3.50 bloody marys on Sundays, with the second one free, special. Haven't had the food, but it looks decent. Typical bar food selection. Good jukebox song selection, including a bunch of metal like Danzig and Megadeth. It's a dive. It rocks. Looks and feels like a local hang out. An owner? Long time employee?? Someone name Kentucky Thunder was having a birthday party that night and they were decking the old place in purple balloons, tie-dye, and UV reactive fun! They encouraged us to return that night and we wanted to, but we were staying in Newport. Too far to walk after partying =) The food is extremely cheap. Ya get what you pay for, but damn, I love me some tots and tenders with an ale. Food was amazing!!!! My husband were in Lincoln City for the weekend and love to try out "dive" bars, this did not disappoint. The waitress/bartender/cook was fast and friendly. All of the food tasted fresh and the hamburger was hand pressed and the onion rings were HUGE and freshly made. Beer was cheap, great selection, cold and fresh tasting. All of the local crowd were friendly. We will surely be coming back. read more

I went to Old Oregon late last night. Kind of a basic tavern but has its own charm. The bartender there was exceptionally cheerful, especially for the hour. I was afraid to ask for food as they were not far from closing time. I asked if the kitchen was closed and Autumn cheerfully offered to make me anything on the menu. Anyway, she really brightens up the place and I'll be back because she did a lot to make us feel right at home. read more

Nice friendly bar. Set up great to support social distancing. Each video lottery machine had plexiglass between it. Staff was friendly drinks were well made reasonably priced.
