Late to the game to review, but oh well. First time here, while on vacation. Came for brunch and were not disappointed. Quite extensive breakfast menu, a lot to choose from. I had the MEAT LOVER'S SKILLET 19.50 Bacon, diced ham and sausage crumbles with peppers and onions over a bed of Breakfast Potatoes covered with Tillamook cheese and two eggs. It was piping hot, great presentation and really good. Biscuits were outstanding, did have to "ask" for jam & honey for the biscuit, nothing on the table. Oh and I shant forget the serving was huge. I believe brother had a special of fried clams, with all the breakfast fixings, which was also delicious. We each had leftovers, which we took back to our hotel. Server was very nice and the locals seemed to be out in force on the day we were there. I would go back on my next trip to the Oregon coast. read more

We have been to Pier 101 several times in the 7 years we have lived in Lincoln City. We went there today and brought a friend. We haven't been there for quite some time, but we remembered previous visits as being good food for a reasonable price. Both I and our friend ordered prime rib. I had Pier101's prime rib a couple of years ago and it was excellent. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. It looked good when it was served altho I noticed it was thicker than the usual cut, but when we tried to cut it using the serrated knife that came with it, we both had a very difficult time. The the flavor was ok, but it was almost unchewable. We both had a couple of bites and just gave up. To add t our misery, the Caesar salad Romaine lettuce was limp and tasteless and the broccoli served with the prime rib was cold and hard...almost uncooked. I like my vegetables crispy, but this was ridiculous. My husband ordered stuffed shrimp and only ate a few bites. He loves shrimp, but he said the meal wasn't good. When our waiter came to remove our dinner plates and realized we hadn't eaten much he brought the manager to our table (after a rather long wait when we just wanted to leave). She apologized and said sometimes the prime rib they get isn't that good. My question then is why serve it? Anyway, they gave us half off so we ended up spending almost $80 and went home hungry. Needless to say, we will not be going to Pier 101 again...ever! read more

Food is fantastic! Hubby had Shrimp Salad Louie with great sourdough bread, like half a loaf! I had crab cakes to compare with last night. I loved the buttery tasting cakes better. They were smaller but I got 3 with lots of crab to be seen. Also mashed potatoes and broccoli which was steamed perfectly. The Shrimp Louie salad was packed with shrimp and various salad things. The bread was warm and tasty. Service was great and we did takeaway again because of the storms. Pier 101 is definitely the place to go if you have only 1 night in Lincoln City. read more

The food was hit or miss - some of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail hadn't been cleaned well and a few of the scallops weren't cooked through. The restaurant is pretty dark and didn't feel super welcoming. That said, the Tiramisu was pretty amazing and the portions are HUGE. The drink was pretty good. read more

On a recent trip to Lincoln City, we were looking for a restaurant that would allow us to bring our dog and that could provide us with some good seafood. After referring to Yelp and conferring with a couple of locals, we decided to come to Pier 101. We were directed through the restaurant to the back patio area and were met by our server who took to our dog's enthusiasm wonderfully. She was kind and considerate and allowed us ample time to review the menu and discuss our options. The ambiance in the outdoor area kept with the motif of the dining room which was nice; it felt accommodating to us pet owners. The food was excellent. My wife and I each had five oyster shooters (three each as an appetizer, and two more each for dessert; they were tasty!). My wife had the Dungeness Crab Cake Sandwich and I had the Seafarer Sandwich. Both were excellent and flavorful. My wife and I highly recommend stopping by whenever you're in town. We'll be back on the coast in August and might stop in on our way to our final destination. Thanks again, Pier 101! read more

We're visiting Oregon from California and decided to try Pier 101 in Lincoln City. We came in around 8:10 pm knowing they closed at 9, but the staff were still incredibly welcoming and got us seated right away. We had a table of 7 and ordered a bunch of different things. Even though our food came out around 8:50 (very close to closing time), we never once felt rushed. The staff stayed friendly and attentive the entire time, which we really appreciated. The food was great across the board. I personally had the fish tacos and the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon, both of which were excellent. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the stuffed salmon was rich and packed with seafood. The restaurant was clean, the service was warm, and the overall experience was great - especially considering we came in close to closing. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely come here again. read more

The "fresh" crab is not fresh. It's previously frozen and by how hard it was to crack and how it fell apart, it might be frozen for a long time. Wished I would've seen another review that stated the same exact thing it would've saved us a lot of money. Super disappointed! read more

We tried this restauraunt as it came highly recommended. When ordering drinks, I asked what kind of soda they serve. The waitress said they only have Pepsi products. Halfway through our meal I noticed a nearby table had Henry Weinhard's sodas, which are not Pepsi products to my knowledge. I would have ordered a rootbeer had i know they had this type of soda. I made due with water with lemon. Although the waitress had to bring the lemon after my water and partners beer. It seemed to be an after thought for her to bring it, after I ordered it. The menu does not disclose everything that will be in your food. I had the chicken sandwich with cheese & marina. I do not eat onions. The sandwich had onions on them. I did not complain because I was not sure if I missed on the menu. The sandwich was minimal for what I was expecting. The bread was just regular toased bread. The chicken was very thin. The marinara sauce was barely noticeable..like a very thin bit in center of the chicken. The fries..cooked a smidgen to long... but just ok. My partner had a bun buster burger. Based on the menu, he expected a burger he would be wowed by. The burger was "nothing special, just alright" 1 notch above fast food, sadly. After we paid, I checked a menu at the hostess station. It did not say onions would be on the sandwich. The waitress however, when asked, brought me an extra napkins to put the onions on. I will say the time to get food was reasonable, it was not super busy. The waitress did return to check on us a few times, although did not listen to our responses. I would not suggest this place based on this experience. We go there again, but only because it is a pick up location for another place that only has take out. Was a good meal and dining room. I( was skeptical on the reviews but I had the crap/shrimp Louie salad and it was great. Lots of crab and the honey mustard dressing was decent. My mom had the pan fried oysters and they were excellent. She had fries with it and those were piping hot too. I will get the oysters next time but would definitely still consider the salad. This place is pretty good! I like the dining room too, it makes me feel like I'm some shrimp boat captain or something. Its old rustic and lots of maritime style wood and furniture. My family and I had dinner here. We had to wait a few minutes before anyone came to seat us but once seated, the service was good and the waitress was friendly. Everything each of us had was okay-nothing special. I had the clam chowder and crab cakes. The crab chowder was fine, nothing special. The crab cakes were okay. Again, nothing special. I get to Pier 101 in time for my reservation, but was told that I would have to wait 25 to 35 minutes for a table. I asked why make reservations? I drove from the Willamette Valley to dine here, and the reservations were not honored. I've since learned from a former employee of Pier 101 that this is not a new development. A very disappointing visit to Pier 101 yesterday. My wife and I were concluding a road trip from Portland that took us to Cannon Beach and then headed south to Lincoln City. I had not been to Pier 101 for several years but I had a desire to have the Plank Potatoes once again. I was nervous as I didn't see them on the menu and I cannot see them on any photos here?? I asked our server, (who ignored us twice, while delivering food) and she said they were out of them today. Really?? So we left. I will say Maria, the hostess was extremely nice and friendly. She greeted us in a positive manner, and then even came outside after we exited to inquire if something is wrong. Great reaction. I can see why Pier 101 has only garnered a 2 1/2 star rating. That is not good. We used to have one in Beaverton and Portland several years ago, and they were of high quality then...and didn't run out of food items. read more

Everything was amazing there! The food was great but the atmosphere was even better! The host, server and bartender went above and beyond! I can't remember their names but we went in on the March 24th so everyone working that day should get a raise give how amazing everything was. I REALLY wanted this place to be good.. The recent reviews looked promising! We arrived around 2:30PM and were promptly greeted. The server was energetic, friendly and welcoming! We were seated and received waters and drinks shortly after. I did have to ask for a market price menu, but not a big deal. But then our server just changed? No warning or introduction. This one was not as friendly and was not attentive at all. We asked for chocolate milk for our daughter and had to remind her twice. She never came back and asked how our food was tasting or if there was anything else we needed. Honestly, the oysters were mostly all in their spawning stage and I cannot believe they sent them out of the kitchen looking like this. The chowder was just alright. Quite a few shells in my bay shrimp salad. By the time she came back, I was just done and ready to go. I didn't even realize until after we left that I had never gotten the fresh sourdough bread with my chowder/salad. Super disappointing because I was sooo looking forward to it! The cheese sticks, chowder and hot sourdough bread were delicious and the dinner salad was good. We decided to splurge and get the "fresh" king crab at $67... it was previously frozen, had no flavor and was hard to crack. The seafarers sandwhich had huge pieces of red onion on it and was greasy. My ravioli was al dente and tasted of play dough. It had no sauce and was just sitting in butter. The scallops were rubbery. Used door dash for a late dinner ordered the mozzarella sticks and sesame chicken strips with chowder as the side. The mozzarella sticks were good but too huge ( size of a stick of butter each) and only got a very small condiment cup of marinara with them . The chicken strips were more sesame seed breading than chicken (The strips looked like horizontal cut chicken breasts ) and finally the chowder was like paste. Nothing had really any flavor . We used to love pier 101 when we came to lincoln city. Also the receipt stuck to our bag was from Sarina's Italian kitchen ( sticker holding receipt to bag ) .
