    Cheese curds

We came here after a long day at the beach and we're ready to have to wait since we came during a holiday weekend. We were sat down right away and once we ordered, our food came out really fast. Not only that, it was fresh and hot! The cheese curds did an amazing cheese pull and the fish was flaky and delicious. The Cole slaw could be better but it was still pretty good. All in all, great place for dinner after a beach day

Best fish and chips! Lot's of variety as well. We always make it a point to stop here when we are near the coast! The food is excellent. Always fresh! The halibut fish and chips are my favorite. Always nice, crispy and flavorful. While it doesn't have some fantastic beach view, the food speaks for itself. We usually have the dogs with us so we enjoy the outdoor patio area. Service is always great and food comes out quick!

Perfection! Seriously. Who'd have thought this somewhat diner-looking, views of the parking lot, black mats on the floor kind of place would have such great food, jazzy-blues-boogie music. The Pub in Lincoln City was a fun and tasty choice!!! The portions were very generous; there was enough to satisfy two hungry adults with one 4-piece, hot out of the fryer halibut and batter-dipped French fries, and two full-to-the -brim bowls of piping hot chowder. (We could have split one, btw!) The chowder was thicker than I prefer, but it was very tasty and chock full of chunks of clams. And did I say hot?!? Had there been any room in the bowl, I could have added a bit of cold milk to thin it out, and it still would have been plenty hot. And the fish? The fish was moist, tender and meaty, with batter that was the closer to perfection maybe I've ever had: not oily or soggy, it had a delightful crunch to every bite! The fries were also delightful, with a very light batter which added that crunch with soft potato inside). The basket came with a tiny portion of good, not overly dressed coleslaw, fresh lemon slices, and plenty of good tartar sauce. I bet their onion rings would be fantastic- if they have them. (I just asked Dave and he said they do and that he loves them, "... but a half basket is plenty. Don't be enticed by the full basket!" Next time!!! They have an extensive choice of beer on tap, a full bar, and a large list of "Boozy Milkshakes"- which Dave said are fantastic milkshakes with a lot of booze. My hubby was interested, but passed (this time, lol). Dave, our server, was a character in a very good way, making suggestions on ordering, chatting just a bit but not excessively. Funny. At $38, I'd highly recommend this place, and look forward to our next trip to the coast. If you go, please tell Dave that Joe and Amy will be back for the onion rings!

Fried Calamari, Jalapeño Poppers, Salmon & Halibut Fish and Chips, Clam Chowder ---the best fish and chips we've had on the Oregon coast.

Great service, every part of the meal was well seasoned and had delicious layers of flavor. The fish was very juicy and cooked to perfection. The jalapeño poppers were soo good. Can't wait to return so that we can try more things off the menu! Very attentive waiters who were very kind. Great atmosphere!!

Great service, you can tell the owner really puts a lot of effort into their food and customer service. I'd give 6 stars if I could. The BEST fish n chips. Plus so many fish options (salmon, tuna, cod, halibut, shrimp)

After my 20th chemo infusion I was actually hungry after NOT being so all week. Kid: What do you want? Me: Clam strips and clam chowder. Kid: I want fried pickles. Me: What about the cute place you went with BF? Kid: Oh yah! that place is great. So we called it in to the pleasant lady on the phone, and picked it up ten minutes later. Drove it home. Everything was still hot. Pickles? really good with decent ranch for dipping. Clam chowder? I liked it a lot. Not too thick or thin, detectable clams, nice potatoes, and no terrible squishy celery chunks. I hate loathe and despise cooked celery. Fries? perfect. Sauces? all good. Coleslaw? not too bad. Not remotely slimy. Clam strips? Well they were a little dark, overfried, but still edible. It all hit the spot without breaking the bank. I wish they had bread or garlic bread as an option, they provided oyster crackers but I like dunking bread in chowder. Still, we will go again!

Exactly what you would expect at a seaside establishment. Hot and delicious fish and chips and a large variety of adult beverages. The staff amazing! Service prompt, and a fun atmosphere.

not a bad stop if you're looking for some fish and chips on the coast! we ordered the halibut fish and chips and it was tasty! two of the fish were a little dry, but the other two were perfect - we thought this was likely due to the size of the fish since the dry ones were the smaller ones and probably were a little overcooked. the fries were veryyyy good, we really enjoyed those. the coleslaw wasn't bad, but forgettable and the tartar sauce was nothing special. staff was super friendly!! we got seated immediately upon arrival and our order was taken in a timely manner. the restaurant is a little small so there isn't too much seating inside, but the staff works really fast to clean up tables when a party leaves.

My wife and I are visiting from Washington and wanted some seafood. The location of the restaurant is easily accessible and has large parking area. The restaurant is very clean and the style is awesome. We were seated immediately even though it was somewhat busy. The waitress was very friendly and responsive. My wife and I decided to share a basket of fish and chips (Halibut) and a bowl of clam chowder. The food came out quickly and was amazing. The chowder was creamy and filled full of clams and potatoes. The fish was fried to perfection but did have heavy batter with great taste. The total bill was $26.25 which is very reasonable for a lunch of two. We will definitely be returning! I would recommend this joint for a quick bite!

While there aren't a huge number of dining options in town, we never felt like we were settling. In fact, we looked forward to coming back each time. If you're a beer lover, you'll be in heaven. Their selection is extensive, with everything from crisp pilsners to rich stouts, making it easy to find something that suits your taste. The location is simply unbeatable. Nearly every table offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat on the patio (my favorite spot), you're practically sitting on the beach. Watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal is hard to top. Despite being incredibly busy, every server we had was friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard. The only minor downside was that the restaurant appeared to be a little understaffed. There were times when empty tables were visible, yet the wait was still 20-30 minutes. Honestly, though, we didn't mind. Any excuse to sit outside, people-watch, or simply stare out at the ocean is time well spent. The food was consistently excellent throughout our visits. We sampled the clam chowder, fish and chips, Backyard BBQ burger, cheeseburger, oyster shooters (both the Mignonette and Spicy Mary), and the cheese curds. My favorites were easily the clam chowder and the fish and chips--both were outstanding and exactly what you hope for when dining on the Oregon Coast. Even if beer isn't your thing, the cocktail menu is worth exploring. I ordered the Tsunami Warning, a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple and lime juices, ginger beer, and Pelican's Tsunami Stout. It's definitely a unique cocktail that won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My biggest regret? Never saving room for dessert. Every time I saw one pass by our table, it looked incredible, but I was always too full to order one. That's just one more reason to come back. If you're visiting Pacific City, I highly recommend stopping by the original Pelican Brewing Company. Between the incredible oceanfront setting, excellent food and drinks, and welcoming service, it's a place that's easy to return to again and again.

There is no dedicated parking for pick up orders. The order was more than what is on the "take out" menu from their website. When I asked about the price increase she said it was a "surcharge." (Had a bit of attitude when I asked about it as well. I just paid it cause I didn't want to argue when there was a line of people.) There is NO MENTION of a take out "surcharge" and it shows up on the receipt as "tax." There is no state tax in Oregon or a city tax in Pacific City. The food was not a good value for the money. Lettuce wrapped burger was wrapped with brown lettuce. The coleslaw was like mayo soup. I will say the fish in the fish and chips were good and the ranch was good but that was it. There is a lot of room for improvement. Starting in the parking lot!
