I called the head to order the pizza and red on the menu. They are famous for their their thick crush but you can do thin or thick. I ordered a classic cheese and was not asked what crust I wanted. I called back and mentioned since they are famous for their thick crust, I assume that's what it comes on but I was told no I had to order that. The cream puff is a chewy crunchy bread filled with whipped cream and topped with powdered sugar- it was good! It was our first time getting pizza from Tie Dye Pie. This is a takeout-only restaurant right now, even though there is a small dining room. We ordered a 16-inch half-n-half pizza. On one side was a Tie-Dye Pie, and the other was Creamy Chicken Garlic. Pizza was thick crust, and very tasty. My wife and I shared this pizza and we had half of it left for leftovers the next day. My only complaint is the policy they have about no changes to the Tie-Dye Pie. Apparently, this is the owner's signature pizza, and he will not allow anything to be changed. You can't exclude a topping, and you can't add anything else. I wanted to add pineapple to the pizza and was told "no". Instead, I ordered a side of pineapple and added it before eating. The pizza, as-is, was good. The pizza, with a bit of pineapple added, was excellent. It would have been even better with the pineapple cooked with the pizza. I hope the owner changes his mind on his policy. There are desserts available, as well. We ordered two of the eclairs. I didn't realize how huge they are. We split one. It was great, and a nice way to finish a pizza dinner. I'll order from here again because the pizza was better than any other pizzas I've gotten in Lincoln City. Tie dye pie caught our eye, as we drove by. lol Flipped a U and ordered the best pizza we had on our trip to Washington back down to Cali. Exactly how I like my pizza, this place is a gem. The cook and the cashier were friendly and spoke to us and asked us about our trip. The wings are given plain and sauce to dunk, and honestly that was so much better than having soggy wings. 11/10 would stop here anytime driving thru Lincoln city. Amazing Stromboli, Italian Sub's artisan roll appeared home made, marinara sauce was tasty, high quality ingredients and generous portions. Last minute addition of a $5 huge cream puff dusted with powdered sugar was incredible. Pricing is up there, right in line with what we expected. Very impressed with the food. Take out only, limited seating for to go customers, no delivery. Con's: After reading all the hand written signs posted around, you quickly get the feeling it's the owner's way or forget it. The employee who took our order was very flat, not upbeat or friendly (we did not interact with owner who was in the kitchen). The to-go packaging on the stromboli was a single cardboard plate with aluminum foil over the top. The plate leaked through to the pizza box beneath and down the side. Suggestion: add a 2nd plate (like you did on the italian sub) and a sheet of foil on the bottom to catch oil seeping through. Thankfully I had placed the order on a rubber floor mat. We enjoyed the food so much, the next day I called to give praise and thank the owner (snail mail is the only other option). I was told by the same unhappy employee that the owner is unapproachable and did not want my feedback. This employee went on to tell me they did not want to participate in any feedback program I was selling, the owner is abusive and there were drug needles outside in the back. WAIT, WHAT?! This is not the same place we visited several years ago. For starters, the place looks like a hot mess on the outside. Run down and almost looks like it's out of business. Second, it's a hot mess express on the inside. No longer a place to sit and hang out, stuff piled everywhere and just chaotic. The two guys working just yelled at each other and my husband asked for no cheese on his pizza (yes lactose intolerant people still like pizza without cheese) and they put cheese on his pizza and he pointed out that he asked for no cheese and they yelled at him. At least they reimbursed him for the pizza. We were visiting for a week and at the beginning of our stay we called around 6pm to place an order and they said they were closed because they ran out of stuff. It was our first time, we've been trying to order here the last few trips but had bad timing. We got the Maui wowie and it's everything I'd hoped it would be.
