Very rude customers and waitress. They seem to dislike senior citizens so we left. They made us show valid I'D but never checked anyone else

Was accused of not being able to sleep at the bar when I was trying to work on my phone, not the most observant staff.

They were very rude and made us wait just because they didn't like our type of people.

Mary Francis was very nice to my husband and I who went in spite of the nasty comments of "rude to tourists".

I typically go for the Alpenhaze but the server recommended the seasonal Enchantments Jabberwocky and it was delicious. Pretzel was decent but I think there are better ones in town. Next time I will order an extra side of cheese sauce, I didn't have enough but didn't want to get up to order more. Such a spacious location with seating outside looking at the main street or inside, upstairs is super cute too. Super friendly crew and fun merch and to-go beers in the fridge.

Located on front street, this brewery is a must when you visit the area. What Ioved - Great beers- Dirty face amber and Akoya Japanese rice lager Delicious food- The tomato bisque and grill cheese was amazing! Not to mention the warm Bavarian pretzel with beecher's cheese sauce was the best! Lots of seating and cool decor in the brewery. Friendly bartenders and servers Pet friendly establishment Events throughout the week- Be sure to ask your bartender for the events at the brewery throughout the week. We had a great time visiting this brewery while in the area. Definitely a must visit during your stay in Leavenworth

Granted, it's only been here for a year and a half, but that goes to show that you can't take anything for granted in this charming little town! Ours, although brief, was a wonderful experience. Initially hesitant to enter, as we had a full squad of kids with us, including two babies in a double-stroller, and two pre-teens, but we were welcomed in anyway, and assured that minors were allowed. My wife and I were introduced to the (extensive) menu of champagnes available, selected one that catered to our individual tastes, and were both impressed with our selections: a dry white, and a rosé (whose names I have shamefully forgotten, but I don't think you can go wrong with any choice here). The ambiance within is gorgeous; our server - phenomenal, knowledgeable and welcoming; and the view of the Christmas lights on Front Street is pretty darn good. This would be an excellent place to get away from the crowd during the Christmas Tree lighting event, watching from just across the street, warm and toasty (and a little toasted!), and without being crushed by the crowds. Our previous favorite hidey-hole for watching the festivities (The Loft) may have a competitor in future years, especially since we can't bring the kids up there! Seating is limited though (or it would be, during peak busy season), so get their early to snag a spot! Our Leavenworth trip happened to coincide with one of the worst storms (& flooding) that the region has seen in a long time, so the entire town was sparsely populated with tourists, meaning we were the only ones at the House of Champagne at the time. Probably a good thing for us, with so many kids in tow; I wouldn't want to haul all of them in when it was busy and annoy the other patrons, but seeing Leavenworth that empty, two weeks before Christmas, can't be good for the local economy. As things bounce back, keep that in mind, and be sure to look out for stellar local places like this which, as I said before, can be easy to miss, even for us regulars. House of Champagne is exactly the kind of place you want to see thrive in a town like Leavenworth, so take my advice: don't miss it!

On the other part of the bar was a group of people playing pull tabs. I tried to order a mannys and a dry cider but they only had sweet cider so I ordered a mannys and coors light instead. The bartender was friendly, so there's that. This place gets 3 stars for being open later and having a friendly bartender. It loses two for the other issues. We went outside and everyone was smoking. We made sure to close our tab so that our tip will go to her before she left. She answered all our questions and if she wasn't sure, she made sure to get the answer elsewhere for us. There was a football game that didn't start for another hour so we asked if we could play pool. She let us know that the projector would need to be put up but said to play pool anyways and she'll see what night staff would do. So we did. We were finishing up our last game and went back to our seats. My bf asked the new servers if they could play the sound of the game and he just flat out said "no". I then asked a different server if we could pull down the projector like it was earlier with the sound, and he looked at me straight in the eye and said "no" and walked away. There was no conversation. I would have appreciated it if we were given a reason as why it wasn't possible when they were doing it the entire day. After our original server left, we were not checked on at least once. The only time we got their attention was when we had to waive them down and asked for a beer. When we finished that, we left it on the table to see if they would notice. I started a timer too. The bartender or server was playing poker too which I didn't understand considering it was pretty busy. My bf who plays poker noticed one of the dealers wasn't dealing top card during the game so be cautious playing the card game here. At this point, with the timer still going, we were not checked on for 20 min. We're closing out and leaving to different bar.
