They overcharged a smidge for the tree too, my husband measured it to be 6 ft they said 7, I guess wouldn't have bothered us if the check out issue didn't occur. $90 for 7 foot. It's a smaller farm than nearby Johnson's Corner farm, and they don't grow any food to my knowledge, so it's much less crowded and chaotic, plus cheaper. You can't pick your own berries or apples or anything, but the hayride out to the "pumpkin patch" is fun to do in the fall, and there is enough to do besides pumpkin picking to stretch it into a full afternoon of inexpensive family friendly fun. They have a playground, goats and alpacas, a small maze, plus plenty of food and live music on the weekends. My girlfriend, 11-year-old son and I recently tried their winter wonderland illuminated walking trail which they just started up in 2022. For the three of us, after taxes and fees, it was $57.90. It was a very pleasant night strolling the 1/4 mile trail filled with lights and christmas music, plus the several campfires set up at the end of the trail.

The farm provides a map that outlines the different types of trees and where to find them. The selection is great, they have everything from small ones to 18 foot trees. Once you find your tree, you bring your tag to the register and pay. The farmers then go cut your tree and load it on your car while you sit fireside and enjoy complementary cookies and hot chocolate. Not only did he and his crew help me push the car to the side of the road but he drove me and my son back to our house to get my jumper pack. On a busy Saturday, this guy very selflessly stopped what he was doing and helped us. He took what was a very stressful situation and immediately did all he could to help. What a tremendous gesture and one that won't be forgotten. My son got to see what real, genuine humanity looks like. It is the gold standard, IMHO, as someone who has worked at farms and greenhouses over the course of decades, these are the people from whom I have sought counsel the most when. In New Jersey. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and suited to local conditions because they are greenhosed on site by an expert horticulturist. The 'book learning' aspect of the son, Alan, is beautifully balanced by the depth and breadth of knowledge from Don himself, a local farmers with hands on experience and an ear to the ground, full of local lore. Excellent customer service to boot. If you're looking for substance and quality and knowledge, look no further! An extraordinary enterprise much appreciated by us dedicated fans.
