I placed my order one week ago. A party of 80 people. Nine balloon bouquets to be ready at 3PM. I called at 3PM to confirm they were ready. Nope we just started. Why? What happened? Oh the morning crew didn't do it. Right. I walked in at 4:15PM. Not ready. The girl behind the counter was working on a different order. I asked how much longer? The middle-aged woman said "hey it is what it is". Right. Can you imagine if everyone was this incompetent? She couldn't have cared less. It is what it is. I have 80 people coming to my son's event. He's 13. I'm giving opening remarks. I rented a van to transport the balloons and other table decorations. The older lady said "ya know we're working as fast as we can, the morning team shudda done it" .... Nope. Not interested in excuses. When you pay like shit, you will get shitty workers. And those workers will treat their customers like shit. Maybe someone should start a balloon truck. You'd put Michaels out of business. It is 4:26PM.

Seemed I just caught her in a bad mood. From the looks of other reviews this service from the manager seems to be a common occurrence. That being said I was able to call Michaels corporate number, and I was offered a refund within five minutes of explaining my situation. All to say, this unfortunately put a bad taste in our mouth for this situation. I highly encourage the owners of this branch to look into their customer service problem.

She didn't explain anything. Kids were just grabbing stuff because they were so antsy from being outside waiting. It was just a horrible experience. It was completely different than what the party we went to was like. The worker was so quiet when I asked her to explain anything or help she felt uncomfortable. Instead of enjoying my daughter's party I felt like I was working there the entire time... grabbing paint for kids, explaining stuff, and helping them wash their hands. I would 100% recommend looking elsewhere if you're considering a party here.
