A huge location is in the heart of Ocoee. They have a huge parking lot and it's easy enough to find a spot. They also have a ton of shopping carts, which I recommend that you get before you go in, because you'll probably end up getting more than you expected. They're always great place to find seasonal and holiday items on the cheap. As I walked the store it was a little bit confusing as to where everything was. It was difficult to determine where each section was broken out into. I had to go up and down into the aisles to find the king size sheets. Otherwise they do have a ton of stuff and it's easy to get lost in here for a while just looking around. They only had a couple of cash registers open, so if it gets super busy you might have to wait in line for a while. Especially since they wrap up each ceramic item individually with paper. They do have super cheap prices, and the staff was nice.

Very large home goods style store. The prices for the most part are reasonable but are not always the lowest. The shelves don't seem to be as well stocked as they were in the past but there is still plenty to find for your home and garden needs. There are so many departments within this store - linens, pets supplies, yard, garden, and patio supplies, crafting staples, home decor, all sorts of kitchen goods, and seasonal decorations. We were in the store a week after Easter and found some very cute Easter decorations for 75% off .My favorite item to look for at Old Time Pottery are the outdoor wind spinners. They are so pretty and make the front of my house and backyard look so pretty. We had a problem with being over charged for an item but the cashier and manager fixed the mistake quickly and politely. Check out the clearance section and red tag sales as you may find something you'd like for a great price.

I could seriously shop for hours at this place. It is literally like a Michaels and a discount outdoor store all in one.

I am very conscious of the prices for everything when I shop in these stores, but I can almost always find something. On this particular visit, I didn't make a purchase, but as usual, they had quite a few food items that I can find at other locations and I keep in mind for when they need arises. I've been really considering a new vacuum cleaner, and I have found some really good deals on them here but my only issue is that every one of them does wet and dry and they are all remanufactured products. That doesn't mean anything is wrong with them, but I am looking for just a regular dry vacuum cleaner. Either way I have to save up the money to get one. I have found quite a few kitchen items that I would find useful, but I just don't have room for at the moment. I always check their book section and quite frequently. I find something worth reading. Like the other locations I have been to. I received a greeting when I came through the front door and multiple employees were pleasant to me and offered assistance as I was shopping. As they have an ever-changing in inventory they are definitely worth checking out on a regular basis.

I dropped my lamp off to be repaired and was told it would take "about a week". On the 8th day I hadn't heard anything so I called the store. Mind you when I dropped the lamp off for a simple wiring repair I was told it would be a little over 100 dollars which I thought was a lot of money, but the lamp had sentimental value so I agreed. There were lamps all over the store and I wasn't given a claim ticket or anything, I just walked out of the store thinking it was a small business and they would just remember me and my lamp without a claim ticket. My father owned a small business and he could remember every person he spoke to. After a week, I'd heard nothing so called the store, and I was asked to describe my lamp. I was caught a bit off guard by that but I described it as brass looking because it is. Now obviously there are a lot of brass colored lamps, and one would think an organized business person would assign claim tickets to items in order to keep track of them. The person I spoke to, I assume is the owner seemed to have no idea who I was or which lamp was mine, he put me on hold. He came back and advised that, after a week, my lamp was not done but that if I would call him by the end of the day he would have it done. I had advised I needed to travel for my job and I wanted this off my plate before I left town. I called later that day and was advised the lamp is done. The next morning I woke up an hour early to drive the 40 minutes to get the lamp. When I walked in, the lamp was sitting in the same place I'd left it 9 days earlier. I pointed at the lamp and said "I'm here to pick this up" and the man said "oh that's your lamp? It's not done. That lamp is more gold colored, you said yours was brass". If this man didn't have his head up his you-know-what, he would have a clue how to run a business. If you call their phone number, he doesn't answer with the name of the business, he just says "hello" and you have to ask if you've reached the lamp repair store. When I got there to pick up my unrepaired lamp, I found him out front smoking a cigarette. Classy. I left with my unrepaired lamp and the man could not have cared less that he wasted my time. So if you want to do business with moronic idiot who won't respect you, your business or your time, go for it.

Out with the old, in with the new. Gabe's has officially opened up in the former Old Time Pottery…read morespace in Ocoee. I believe this is the 5th location here in Florida. I had never heard of Gabe's until they took over this spot but they have been around since the 60's and started in West Virginia. They have locations throughout Eastern US and acquired Old Time Pottery a couple of years ago. You will notice many items with Old Time Pottery labeling which is a little confusing. The store feels massive inside, even though it is likely the same square footage as OTP. You can view all 4 walls walking in. Overall, it reminded me of a Ross crossed with a Walmart but cheaper. They have a variety of departments at inexpensive prices. Shoes, clothing, indoor and outdoor home decor, kitchen, household organization, rugs, pet supplies, electronics and toys. They also had name brand items like Nike and Ryka at very low prices. It's a bit overwhelming because it is so massive but I appreciate the variety all in one store. Staff could not be found anywhere on the floor so if you have questions, you likely need to go to the checkout area. I didn't buy anything today so not sure how efficient the checkout lanes are but plan to come back when I have more time.

It is a large retail outlet similar to Marshall's, Ross or Beall's Home Centric. They have great prices and carry closeouts from many other retail chains. The Orlando area location is Ocoee which is at the corner of West Colonial and Maguire road. Just a few blocks off the SR 50 exit on the FL Turnpike. I noticed brands from Kohl's, Target, Loft, Ann Taylor, Lucky's, Bebe, Lands End, Lane Bryant, Banana Republic, Gap and many others carried by Ross and Marshall's. The brand names on tags are sometimes blacked out or the brand name may be cut out of the tag. I did see Adidas, Reebok and Avis but I did not see designer brands. They have many departments in this store. Clothing, luggage, purses, shoes, accessories and some personal care. Bed and bath, home decor, patio, kitchen, rugs and food items. They have clearance signs in all departments. They have a good rewards program called 'unbelievable Rewards.' Gabe's is discontinuing their text program in Sept 2025 however customers can get alerts and deals through the Gabe's app. I would recommend signing up for rewards beforehand or at the register checkout. You get 25 points for signing up and every $50 in points generates a $5 coupon. Coupons expire in 30 days. Coupons can be used towards clearance merchandise. The service was friendly both on the sales floor and at checkout. I purchased Vera Wang, Croft and Barrow, Loft, Bandolino, Land and Sea, A New Day (Target), Banana Republic and Hanes multipacks. 6 tops, two pants and two intimates for $40. I earned a $5 coupon on my first shopping trip. Positives: Price Selection Rewards are easy to earn Friendly staff and easy parking Fun for bargain shoppers The rug department they had tables where you can unroll rugs to examine them. Cons: This is an outlet so the racks and displays lend themselves to a little digging Rewards coupons are limited to 30 a year but 30 times 50 is a 1500 spend 3 try on rooms per gender
