I have been to all of the flea markets in SoCal. The Rose Bowl is bigger and has a better selection…read morethan all of them. I have been to the Rose Bowl Flea Market over a dozen times in the past decade. It often takes me three hours to get through the antique section. Buyers can get great deals if they haggle with the vendors. Its definitely worth coming at 6 or 7 am. The best items sell quickly early in the morning before most of the public arrives. The vendors sell A LOT to one another and to the early birds. Many times when I have arrived at 8 or 9 am I find that great furniture and items I would have loved to buy already have SOLD signs on them. Early morning entry from 5 AM to 8:45 AM. costs $22.00 plus a $1.21 processing fee ($23.21 total). Its worth purchasing your ticket before you arrive so you get in quickly. Its a good idea to bring a cart or a wagon. Bring water and food too. Its expensive to buy food at the Rose Bowl.

Parking is easy to find as they provide valet parking which is marketed as free, but realistically tip-based. Entrance fee is less than $10 which is much cheaper than the Rose Bowl Flea Market. There is a good variety of booths from candles and crystals to vintage clothing and underrated designers. The prices range from very cheap ($1-$5 clothes) all the way up to hundreds of dollars for rare finds. The sellers are very casual and chill which makes shopping here a fun experience. There is also art and furniture here and the Grove is walking distance from this place. Erewhon is also a couple blocks away. Overall, this is the perfect spot for any tourist visiting LA wanting to experience the lovely sunny weather. It is also a great place to kill time on a Sunday and people watch (with sunglasses preferably).

I walked by a stand…read morefilled with the most beautiful, unique jewelry--everything was shining in the sun and immediately caught my eye. There were so many gorgeous pieces to choose from, but I ended up settling on a stunning necklace. The colorful stones felt like they reminded me of my childhood dreams. When I asked about the jewelry, I learned that everything is handmade and that the business is woman-owned--which made it even more special. The ladies working there were incredibly sweet and welcoming. I purchased a necklace, an anklet, and a bracelet, and the owner offered to design matching earrings for me. Since I was only visiting, I mentioned I might not have time to come back. She said she could have them ready before I left and told me I could pick them up at the showroom. Even though I ran out of time, everything was handled smoothly--I sent an Uber courier to retrieve the earrings, and the results were absolutely worth it. When I finally got them, I was honestly blown away. The earrings were gorgeous, and the full set together is truly stunning. If you're looking for handcrafted jewelry with vibrant personality and real care behind every piece, Vita Kush is a must. I'll definitely be back!

A lot of their events are also themed too and this can go with various series and franchises (Ghibli, Sanrio characters, Adventure Time, etc.), trinkets focused, $20 and under days, and much more. I'm glad that this event is revitalizing life back into the Little Tokyo Galleria Mall, which I might visit if I had to go to Daiso, I want good taiyaki or walnut cakes, or we're just randomly wandering in the area. It's not a destination I necessarily go out of my way to go to if I'm in LT, so this is nice. Just know that the air flow AC might not be the best and even during the spring months it gets really muggy and warm inside, so I can't imagine the summer events. Hopefully it's improved. Also just a fair warning, depending on the popularity of the "theme" of the flea market, there might not be THAT much of what you're purchasing. I went to the Chiikawa themed one in the past and yes there were a COUPLE vendors with original art of Chiikawa, but like no vendors had any official merchandise (or everything was already sold out by noon). Even the pop up tat artists didn't have any Chiikawa ones NOR did they have temp tattoos (you know a lot of people would pay for this and great for kids). Go with lower expectations and don't expect the theme to be super on point, but again, nice event for the community.

They also had a few tattoo vendors that will give you one on the spot. They also have a few stores around the area. Didn't buy anything from the vendors at the flea market but did buy a matcha bowl and whiskey holder for a really good price along with a sun hat at one of the stores inside the galleria. Will certainly be back, they validate parking too. That's always cool. Lost a star because they didn't really have much restaurants or places to eat or grab a snack. They also have an Asian market/grocery store, so if you want to grab groceries after checking the flea market, that's convenient.

This store has a lot of antique/vintage jewelry for sale, particularly silver and semi-precious stones, as well as a good amount of costume jewelry. It also has quite a bit of home-ware, porcelain and kitchen-gadgets. Some sections can really pull you in, like old back issues of Times Magazines or other periodicals. Hodgson's is a great place to explore for an hour or so to find something unique or special for a friend or for your own home. Price-wise it's middle-of-the-road, not dirt cheap, but not super-expensive either. Worth a visit. Keep in mind that this place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Plenty of booths to discover and plenty of food trucks to offer. There's music in the back corner. Lots of great artistic stuff to browse through. Don't mistake this for a swap meet because you can get everything brand new. Nothing second hand here. It's also dog friendly as long as you have your friend on a leash. Hopefully not jumping all over everyone and that also means your significant other. I got a sample of strawberry jam from this one booth that was selling dried goods. Was really good and wished I could have put that on a bagel or something. I spoke with the guy at the leather goods booth about phone cases. Great stitch work and great selections for leather. This is going to be first Saturday of each month so it's good to check it out if you don't have anything to do on a Saturday. Enjoy the music at the market with a few snacks in hand.

This store was a joy to browse through! It's one of the most organized and clean stores I've been to, with a stellar collection to boot. Art, pottery, antiques - there will be something that fits your style! I picked up two pieces of handmade studio pottery and a collector's edition of a great book. Though "bougie" is in the name, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable. I'll definitely be back to hunt around for other amazing pieces.

We purchased the VIP tickets which allowed us entrance into the market two hours before everyone else. Considering how packed it became, I am grateful we had those couple of hours to visit all the tables before crowds started to form. Prices range from $ to $$$ and expect amazing artistic creations ranging from jewelry/clothing to taxidermy and even human bone art (yes it's legal). My favorite was a break in case of emergency shadow box with all the weaponry needed to fight vampires. There were musical performances and the bar was open for business. The Globe Theater had 4 levels of artisans and the lighting was good enough to see everyone's wares. Overall it was a great, haunting and esoteric experience.

The Oddities Flea Market is a gothic / dark culture vendor market that originated on the east…read morecoast. It is curated by Ryan and Regina Cohen. September 2018 was the first Oddities Flea Market and it was returned again May 18 and 19th of 2019. The vendors here are one of kind ranging from taxidermy to clothing to art prints. Some of the brands represented here are well known while others are smaller, independent artists and labels. Due to the overwhelming success of the inaugural Oddities Flea Market in September 2018, the Cohens made the second Oddities span over 2 days which included VIP entry tickets and an exclusive after party (separate ticket entry). I was impressed by the eclectic artwork to choose from and the lighting... the large industrial 'furniture'. Def stop in here. The owner(?) was incredibly friendly and open... but it being Pasadena... I was too intimidated to even ask a price... knowing full well I wasn't buying anything.
