This review is for the NONGSHIM pop-up that occurred on 9/21!! It was not promoted as an event that was happening INSIDE the Melrose Trading Post so we were unaware of the entrance fee ($6) until we got there. However, the staff from Nongshim was so nice and accommodating and provided us with samples to try over the fence. He was so thorough in explaining all the flavors available to try and even provided us with the full experience while handing the ice cream over the fence. Then, we took a survey for the little keychain!! Thank you Nongshim for curating the mini experience at Melrose Trading post :)

Always fun at the Melrose Trading Post. Whenever it's hot or blazing hot or overcast the Trading post always has shirts I need and great food.

Vintage, modern and more! I absolutely love this show! It's every Sunday and they have valet parking! Lots of vendors, music, good eats, great people watching! Rows and rows of stuff; plan 2-4 hours at least if you like to take your time and see everything. I've found so many cool things here! Aside from that, I love to see the creativity that people show through their business. My friend is a DJ and he found a couple performance jackets here that he still wears for shows. This is definitely a cool way to spend a Sunday if you're in LA! Wear a hat for sure!

I have always been curious about this open-air market (founded in 1997) selling vintage goods and I always see a huge crowd whenever I drove past Fairfax High School. [Hours]: Every Sunday at Fairfax High School from 9 AM to 5 PM. [Parking]: There's limited on-campus parking and the entrance is via Fairfax & Clinton (right turn only northbound on Fairfax); however, I ended up finding plenty of metered parking spots at Melrose Avenue & Fairfax Avenue (right next to a gas station). [Admission]: $5 per person and the exit guard can stamp the back of the hand and guests can re-enter by just showing their hands. [Amenities & vendors]: There are approximately 100+ vendors and half a dozen food trucks. Vendors include jewelry and accessories (20%), vintage clothing (mostly jeans) & local designers & accessories (30%), apothecary such as candles (20%), plants (10%), local artists (10%), and antique & home decors (10%). Few vendors that caught my attention were vintage Levi's, boots, and vintage T-shirts. Food trucks got few solid options, but nothing really stood out. I circled the entire market and left in 30 minutes. While it is an ultimate destination for vintage clothing, antique selection is quite disappointing comparing with Rose Bowl Flea Market or The Pasadena City College Flea Market. Personally it's one-and-done stop as I don't live close enough or have desire to overpay for vintage clothing AND not to mention difficult parking and $5 entrance fee.

FUN!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ! This is the ultimate art and wine festival minus the wine. Everyone is so friendly, endless booths/vendors with very well priced unique items. Bring cash and prepare to spend about 3 hours minimum exploring. Clean restrooms, good music, great food and limited free valet parking available.

Don't know what to do on a Sunday? Well visiting Melrose Trading Post is an excellent option, not only do they have unique finds but you'll be able to spend your day in the sunny outdoors and great ambience. Parking: might be a bit of a hassle, there's parking within Fairfax High School but was full upon visiting, so had to drive around the annexing residential neighborhoods for a spot. Tickets: available online for $5 but includes an extra $2 service fee. Having bought online tickets has its perk as you don't have to wait in line to buy and enter. Especially if you arrive past noon, it's a long waiting line. Vendors: Wide selection of trinkets and treasures galore. Anything for yourself or perfect to find a unique gift. You will find the cutest indoor plants, jewelry, sunglasses, dream catchers, books, purses, beauty products, chakra stones, incense, and have I mentioned lots of vintage clothes! Plenty dresses, jean jackets, fringe, sequins just about it all. You'll be sure to spend hours browsing around exploring it all. Highly recommend bringing water, sunglasses and that sunblock as you'll be sure to leave with a suntan. Prices: A lil on the higher end for used clothes, as compared to your garage sale or thrift store. But there's that slight room to bargain. Also come prepared with either cash or Venmo as most vendors don't accept card. Food : Food trucks! Also stands with vegan milkshakes, lemonades, iced coffee and donuts. A perfect pick-me-up to finish enjoying your outing.

Best place to find a wide range of everything really. From pottery, paintings, rugs, jewelry, vintage clothing, fragrance, candles, plants, coffee purveyors, foods, etc. It's all HERE. Entrance is $5 cash at the door or u can buy your entrance fee online with a $2 processing fee. Most vendors take cc & venmo. Others might offer zell, apple pay, etc. You can find parking on a nearby residence street, might take some hunting as the trading post attracts a good crowd. Possibly one of my favorite places to go and look around on a Sunday morning.

My partner told me about this place so we checked this spot out to do some Christmas shopping. Here was our experience one Sunday morning. Ambiance: * Parking | Street Parking but they also do inside parking as well (free but they take tips) * Feels | You're not in the glamorous Hollywood area. Just your grassroot blue collar area. The highschool is pretty big and room for plenty of vendors from art, jewelry, furniture, clothing, and food. Great place to enjoy a Sunday stroll. Products: I dig it. There were over 200 vendors and was fairly impressed with them. Many of them with reasonable prices (I just wish I had more money). Customer Service: Dope! People were friendly and helpful. Overall: 4.5 Stars | I dig it. Plenty of vendors, friendly people, and great vibes. I do wish to come back once COVID-19 to get the whole experience (musicians and more food vendors). Other than that, a great LA gem. Advice: * Don't forget to tip the parking ushers. * They take cash ($5 entry fee unless you're on a vendor's guest list)

Unlike most flea markets, this felt more like a craft fair and less like an affair where you rifle through junk looking for a gem. That is to say: there is a combination of different merchants. Some are selling genuine vintage/antique clothing, records, decor and others are selling their personal ceramics, picture frames and more. It's an interesting combination but I would caution that this is NOT a flea market where you can find an armful of treasure for five bucks. The flea market hosts a number of food and beverage purveyors so you can easily get a snack while you peruse what's on offer. But the VERY best thing about this flea market: TONS of free parking in the back of school.

Runs every Saturday -- free parking and free admission -- yay! We arrived around 1pm -- parking was busy but we didn't find it hard to find a spot. Vendors were upstairs and downstairs in the same structure. We started downstairs. The layout is clean and spacious. I appreciated the cute signs that direct you to each floor. Although the rooftop was hot, there were umbrellas along the walkway and some shaded table seating next to the food/drink vendors. The vendors we met were all so nice and willing to negotiate. Downstairs I found a vintage blouse and was somehow convinced that I needed a winter cardigan. The seller gave me a deal I couldn't refuse! Upstairs my husband bought two vintage shirts to add to his collection. It was then time for a break -- the FYMBAS Matcha Latte and Strawberry Cola Slush were perfectly refreshing. We'll be back. :)

I then received a **confirmation call**, during which I *again* explained there would be a large donation. I was told what items they would not accept, and I fully understood those limits (including one oversized sign that wasn't on the list). When the driver arrived, however, it became clear this was not a donation pickup -- it was **shopping**. The driver selectively picked through my items: * Wouldn't take antique chairs because "there's no table to go with them" * Took some lampshades but not others because "there are too many" * Refused a backdrop roll of photographic paper outright I was honestly shocked. Multiple times, the driver reminded me that **what he takes is entirely at his discretion**. I called the donation center to speak with a supervisor, hoping for clarification or support -- only to be told the exact same thing: *"It's at the discretion of the driver."* So let me be clear: if you're looking for a **charity that thoughtfully accepts donations**, this is not it. If you're looking for a charity that **picks through your belongings and cherry-picks what they feel like taking**, then Out of the Closet is definitely the place to call. No, Jet Rag ;) This super cool secondhand store off La Brea Avenue on the cusp of the FairFax, Melrose, Hancock Park, Hollywood and West Hollywood neighborhoods is a very cool find. Was only a few days old when I discovered their weekly every Sunday $1 sales - definitely coming back for one of those. Popped in on a good recommend from my friend Grizzly (Grizz for short), who is becoming some what of a regular. I did discover some amazing boots, hats, shirts, caps, hankies, ties and various finds. I will some some things surprised me in terms of price. While a quality tie in premium condition should be of a certain range I certainly did not expect one to be $24 dollars. Maybe half that amount or a good $9 to $10 less. Not the best a full figured, plus size, thick person variety. Though I did find some great 2X items I'd double back for. I'm a size 13 shoe, so a bit limited here too. Service is phenomenal. Security, helpful as well as personable. Parking is pretty much street as the lot is the bare minimum of parking lots. And their lot on Sundays is used for their big sale. It's mostly street metered in the area or a short metro ride over depending on the direct you're coming from. Tons of women's, men's, youth/kid, teen and various styles for all. As well as open to all. Explore the upstairs as well! They do ask that you leave your bag at the register where the will keep an eye on it on their nicely displayed shelves for bags and belongings of all sizes.
