This is absolutely one of the prettiest places we have ever stayed at! The rooms are just lovely (stay in the carriage house rooms for space, the Lime Tree Room for something really cool). The staff cannot be more accommodating and nice. My daughter rented out the entire place for a week for her wedding. Just wonderful! Every guest for the wedding stayed here and loved it. The wedding was beautiful and the choices the Manor suggested for the wedding was a major hit! The rooms were pretty and vintage and the beds were comfortable for everyone there. Water always available and the pool was next door and really great for a refreshing dip and swim. Breakfast every morning was really nice with waffles, pastries, fruit and juice. Where they could not have an air conditioner, they had these huge fans that worked to cool off people and get the bugs to fly away! Look for the geckos and lizards: Harmless, but pretty! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. It is half a block to Duval Street, but in general, was very quiet. Our room (#3) was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the courtyard area in back frequently - its a great place to sit, chat, read, etc. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful with everything we asked of them. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star rating is the breakfast. It is a continental style, with breads, cold quiche, hardboiled eggs, etc. The breakfast was not managed well, and frequently, they would be out coffee, or yogurt, etc. I would have preferred an option for a heartier, and warm, breakfast. read more

My review is solely based in the cancellation policy, as I had to cancel my reservation not because I changed my plans, but because tropical storm / hurricane ETA was heading to SoFlo. Everybody in my travel group staying in other hotels were able to cancel without penalty, except me, I lost my deposit. Is just sad that they will not help in this kind of case. read more

The cancellation policy sucks! Due to the tropical storm coming into the area and us traveling from Kansas we decided not to try and make the trip since we could not even be sure we could arrive in Fort Myers today let alone be able to take the ferry to Key West. We cancelled our flight, motel stay in Fort Myers and the ferry. The airline gives us a flight credit for future flights as well as the ferry. The motel in Fort Myers didn't have any charges . This place won't even offer a credit for a future stay let alone give any kind of refund. Just said" if they resold the room " we might get a partial refund. Who the heck is going to book a room in Key West with tropical storm on the way? When we re book our trip I will be more than happy to stop by and give them a good old 1 finger salute read more

I stayed here recently with my wife and we were both very happy with this bed and breakfast. I snagged a one night reservation for a total of $175 which I thought was a deal for what i was looking at. We arrived right after the staff had left for the evening so there was no one on the main floor but they called us to let us know instructions and keys were being left for us. The room was upstairs (Eaton room) and had nice high ceilings, good air conditioning, and semi private balcony to enjoy which we did. The building is right off the main drag which is perfect, and there is no loud music nearby which gave the immediate neighborhood a peaceful feel. The breakfast was perfect, it was a buffet of items you choose from the kitchen, and then seat yourself in the backyard. There are lots of wedding related reservations that go on here, and I ran into a bride and groom who were also staying on the second floor. This is a special place, and well worth the price of admission for a night. read more

Had a great time at Old Time Manor! They were welcoming and helpful for recommendations for restaurants/things to do. The accommodations were perfect. It was nice to have a balcony to sit on at the beginning and end of the day. The location cannot be beat for accessibility to Duval street. The only thing that wasn't desirable was the windows did not open but that was minor. It was very quiet and the bed was great. The environmental practices are great. It was nice to always have cucumber infused water coming in from a hot day. Also, the easy parking that you can pay for by day in their driveway for $25 per day. read more

This place was amazing! It was so cute and close to all the entertainment. The staff was courteous and really nice. We arrived after they closed so they left everything for us with instructions in the mailbox on the porch. The only complaints we had was the a/c in our room never seemed to get colder and then we had to park on the street. However, since we were told we'd have parking before we got there and then didn't once we arrived, they upgraded our room for us. All in all it was a nice stay. Loved our stay at Old Town Manor. Great location, great breakfast, and nice & clean place!

The room was very small, just enough room for 1 bed. No room for luggage. You could hear everything going on in the lobby. We were woken very early and very often. Anytime someome went in or out the front door you could hear it. We had to park several blocks away in a parking garage and walk back. They claimed to have an excellent breakfast but it was far from excellent. No cooked eggs, no sausage, very small selection of food and they put it all up at 10 am and I mean 10 am. If you haven't gotten what you want too bad! I went back for more bacon and it had already been put up. I've had a better breakfast at a Holiday inn express. The location was Excellent but other than that I would not recommend staying here. read more

We stayed here just for one night. The staff was outstanding, super accommodating and friendly. They made you feel at home. It was the perfect location to Duval street. They amenities in the room were perfect. Shampoo,conditioner and body wash provided to you to use. (Not the travel kind) Super eco friendly hotel. I can not wait to come back again. read more

My mom, my dog Sean and I spent the better part of a week in Key West and were lucky enough to stay at Old Town Manor. The location was perfect, we were able to park our car in the covered parking garage for the entire time and the staff at Old Town Manor secured bikes for us to get around town. The Saratoga room was beautiful and big enough to relax. My mom and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning on our private patio. My dog enjoyed Key West too...he was confused by all the Roosters everywhere and we had to walk down the street to the post office parking lot 3 times a day for him because there is not a lot of grass in Key West! Once again, the location as perfect, the staff was awesome, Key West was fun and charming...we hope to visit again soon! read more

As a hospitality consultant & local south Florida resident, we've made scores of trips to the keys & especially Key West. Re: room #7 - "the tree top". This was an extremely disappointing experience. While checking in, we were told that this is a "green-certified" lodging facility by "Ann Marie" - not if we would like to participate as most facilities do, but told that there would be no towel changes during our 2 day stay. Have you ever been in the keys during august when it's raining? Try drying your towels either in or out of the room. We were told we could have requested them upon checking out from our stay but we explained that there was no one in the inn after 5:45 pm. Too bad! The rooms were the same rate that we had with our family, but ours was exactly 1/4 less in size - I measured it. It had nowhere to sit other than on the bed which took up almost all the room. Only (2) two end table lights with non-(cfl) compact florescent bulbs (not green friendly here) and a ceiling fan on full tilt that could not be reached without standing on the bed. Sorry for that OTM. This was also the only way to turn on the ceiling light. Forget about reading in that room. The air conditioning filter looked like it not been cleaned in a season and was always re-set to 69 degrees by housekeeping while we were out. "Again - not very green" and the noise from it being so close to the bed would keep awake a man in a coma. Ditto on the bathroom air exhaust system too. Now for their "delicious" breakfast: lenders' bagels, Thomas' English muffins and cereal that was accompanied by some hard boiled eggs in their shell (to be microwave, we guess) and some fruit slices along with pretty stale cakes and apple sauce in plastic containers. They did have coffee, a selection of teas orange and grapefruit juices. Water bottles provided upon checking in had to be refilled outside in their patio next to where the ice is located. We asked again at check out, "what happened to the delicious egg white quiches in the web site" Ann said, "our web site says on occasion we serve this quiche and we had it last week" guess we should have asked what time of the year we should book for that one. Parking is always an issue in Key West and not their fault. It is always worse the closer you get to Duvall Street. They had a pool they were able to offer to the guests, but be ready to walk a couple of blocks to get there. They did provide you with beach/pool towels and make sure to be prepared to use the same damp one over & over. We did have the pool all to ourselves that last day - Sunday. They sure do save on water because it took at least 3x's the amount of time to get the temperature of the water right, wash and rinse off with the water pressure in the inn. "Don't forget to use your damp towels to dry down". "Green- I think not" The inn and sister property are for sale at about 6 million dollars+/- and the way we see it here is - this "is" a money maker for what the absentee owners charge and then save on guests' amenities. Find another inn that will give you the pleasure you crave, deserve and pay for. read more

My husband and I choose Old Town manor as our first experience staying in a bed and breakfast that is pet friendly. We couldn't have made a better choice, from the friendly staff to the lush garden foliage through out the property. We were a few steps away from the heart of it all on Duval street and could return each day to the quiet peaceful proper of the Manor. All the staff was very helpful, from the great suggestions on where the locals eat to suggestions on tours and etc around Key West. We can't wait to return. read more

Looked up a lot of different hotels, B & B in Key West, and for price, location, this seemed the best. We weren't disappointed. We stayed in Key West for 4 nights. One of the main things we wanted to do was dive while we were down there. The dive shop we were going to use recommended this place because it was nice and close by. I booked late though, and was able to find rooms with old Town Manor all 4 nights in different rooms. When we got down, i asked if any other rooms were available longer, and they moved us into Villa Grande. This was the 1st floor of a 2 floor condo/unit with 1 bedroom, full kitchen, living area and 2 porches. We were able to stay in this room for 1st three nights without moving. This was a relief, especially since it includes a parking space. Room was really nice, only 1/2 block off Duval (still quiet), and had direct access to small pool. 4th night was in Old Town Manor, which is the B&B that owns the other property. We were originally booked for a small queen sized room, but I asked if there were any other rooms avaiable. Again, they were able to move us, thus time to the "Sunset" room. Great room with private entrance and 2 private balconies. Again, close to Duval, Mallory square and harbor. Good sized breakfast included. All in all, great rooms, great location, great staff for pretty good rates. read more

I was very pleased with my stay at Old Town Manor. I spoke with several staff members during my stay and they were all very friendly and helpful. I traveled with my small dog and this was the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed which says a lot considering we do a lot of traveling together. My room was in the back of the inn with its own entrance separate from the rest of the house. It was private and quiet which is a definite plus with the dog. My room and the grounds were well maintained and extremely clean. I am already planning my next stay at Old Town Manor. read more

Reviews are not only about the property itself and the visit, it's about how you are treated prior to your visit. I reserved a room more than 3 months out - canceled more than 60 days out. First, they said they would not refund the over $100 deposit at all but after checking their site and seeing (small print) that they cancelation fees even for those done 60 days ($50) before I was pretty stunned. They agreed to revise to $50. I requested a full refund but no reply. I travel a LOT ... I've never had this happen. I know they will rebook that room (November ... Sunday)... I think their choice of customer service is a bad one and has certainly given me a bad taste ... which I can easily will pass along. So for $50 they choose to loose business, mine and everyone I tell. Bad choice, makes you wonder where else they are scrimping and what kind of people run this place? Watch out for these guys... with this attitude I'd presume that they nickel and dime you to death while you're there. read more

FABULOUS in all ways! The Treetop room at Old Town Manor was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jacquelyn who is there in the afternoons. This adorable bed and breakfast is in the perfect location - a block from Duval Street, but removed enough so the nights are quiet. There are many outdoor spaces on the property - a front porch with rocking chairs, a shared balcony on the second floor, a large back patio with chairs and tables - where you can relax, read, people watch, eat. There is a pool you can access on Old Town Manor's sister property nearby, which was an unexpected bonus! My sister and I stayed for two nights, and we also loved how environmentally friendly the place is from serving organic foods for breakfast, composting, recycling, even the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap provided in the room was organic and high quality. I agree with Ken D. This place was worse than shabby chic. We arrived for my cousin's wedding and when we opened the door to the room, a smell that was undescribable hit us in the face. I could not even unpack until I bought some candles and alot of Febreeze. What a dump!!! The bathroom was filthy and the toilet would not flush all the time. We had to take the top off and jiggle the ball inside. The TV worked when it wanted to. I did not want to complain because of my cousin and with all our family staying here, I did not want to be a whiner. I realize now I should have. Think twice before you get a room here. read more

First off I would like to say my poor review in NOT on the beauty of this hotel or the location that was all good. It was how everything was handled. My sister and I came in for one night and while checking in we said, we thought we would stay a second night but, wanted to know the availability. We were told its not busy this week so its fine to make that decision the next morning so we decided to stay a second night so at 7 AM we went to front desk and was told it was booked already. We should have booked it our fault but, thought there would be consideration its a very small place. So, we were told we could check out later so we went for a walk at 9:30 am we were being checked out, room cleaned and our contents out of our fridge were being taken by maid. We complained and they apologized for compensation they waived our parking such a silly pittance $15.00. It was handled very poorly all the way around. read more

Old Town Manor is absolutely fabulous! We have stayed twice with our two dogs and the property is perfectly located to experience the best of KW. The Truman Annex is a perfect mini walk for your pooches to use 'the restroom'. The staff at OTM put water out for puppies and humans alike every day/night. The Euro breakfast is above and beyond the typical continental breakfast that other guest houses provide-all fresh and tasty variety. My parents accompanied my husband and I on our last trip and they were blown away by the charm of the property, especially the garden patio. We all appreciated Haythem's food recommendations (we must have the same palate!) and Katie's bike rental tips. Housekeeping was very considerate our dogs while cleaning room and checking to see what we needed during our stay. We absolutely adore this property! My only negative was a temporary negative-we had to park in parking garage due to construction in the lot that is usually used for guests. read more

We stayed in the Lime Tree room, and much to our surprise there was, indeed, an actual lime tree in the bathroom! The floor was a bit uneven due to the root system, but was only challenging to maintain footing after consuming (perhaps too many) margaritas. Ha! It's a lovely, unique historical building, beautifully landscaped, and very pet friendly. The closest grassy area we found for the dogs was at the post office which is about two blocks from venue. The room was surprisingly quiet being so close to Duval St. The breakfast was supberb - something for everyone! The enclosed garden patio area is quite pleasant and calming. Fans are constantly going to help tolerate the dreaded FL summer humidity. The staff was helpful, accommodating, and kind. Parking is limited, but staff will guide you through options. We didn't use the sister location pool, but were made aware of its availability. Nothing but wonderful memories of our stay at Old Town Manor! read more
