Dine in | Dinner I don't normally do bad reviews but i mean this wasn't not ok. We arrived a little before 4 there were only 2 other tables being used. Not greeted by any staff for a few min but over all We sat quickly ordered some waters and bread sticks and nachos for appetizers. And 1lg pizza supper simple. At 415she brought us waters and told us sorry they got busy. She never came back. Another waitress shortly brought out our bread sticks and nachos. No plates no napkins. It's just me and the kids they don't mind. Our nachos had hair on them cooked into the cheese. Tried to flag down "our" server she never came. Finally the other girl brought it pizza. We told her about the hair. Showed her the chips dangling cooked across multiple pieces. She apologized, my daughter didn't like their pizza.So she offered to get her more nachos. I said, thank you and waited for my waitress to come back. She didn't.By five fifteen, we still had no nachos, and nobody had come to fill our drinks or take care of us. My daughter walked to the front let them know that we had to leave.And we needed boxes and our check..... Still, a bunch of time went by. Nobody came so i got so the kids and our stuff we walked to the front "our" waitress looked at me and said, sorry we're busy. I told her about the hair and the nachos, and how no one has waited on us in over an hour. She got an attitude and said, well.You can talk to my manager..... I said yes please! The manager, his name was David was completely clueless and just said, well.We can give you a discount.Your nachos are supposed to be rushed. I told him i'm not gonna pay for food with hair.In it and I need to leave. He looked at me and said, well, okay.And proceeded to print out my ticket.I told him i'm sorry but i'm not paying for food with hair in it.And he said, okay, well, we'll take that off.. No apology, no nothing.I couldn't believe it... Other than the one young lady who was not our waitress. No one was apologetic. They made us feel like a very big inconvenience, told us how busy they were. And I let them know that we were there before they got busy. And she just said well okay...... I overpaid the thirty eight dollars for my food and we left. All that to say we will not be returning!!! I see all these good reviews for this place.And I wonder if they're just friends or I guess just came when there was different.Waitresses i'm not sure but that was awful!! The only shot out was to the sweet young lady not our waitress if it is her name on the top of the ticket Since she checked us out, I believe is Sara. Came here while walking around town and decided to give this place a chance with some friends. We waited near the cashier for a minute and were starting to be unsure if we needed to seat ourselves or not, but staff eventually noticed us and said to give them a minute. Not empty, but not full. Def a great place to catch up with friends over a pizza pie since it's not loud. We ordered a medium pizza to share among 4 people and it was huge! We ordered their pizza of the month which was the jalopeno popper, which was solid. Crust was good, pizza just takes a minute to make but it def feels fresh. They have beer on tap and they're kind enough to let you sample before you commit. You do have to get your own water, they hand you plates and napkins and a number to put on your table. Even have to go pizza boxes on the counter to grab yourself. Very self service. read more

Village Pizza has been a Corrales staple since the 80's. It has a super charming vibe, great for groups and has excellent pizza. It's all adobe and wood beamed ceilings with lots of natural light, adobe fireplaces and stained glass windows. Pizza is excellent, they have a wide variety of topics and they do a monthly specialty pizza and they get really creative with their choices- this month we tried out the green chile mac and cheese pizza which was super bomb. All the folks that work here are super nice and helpful. My only qualm with them is that they no longer have their buffer for lunch, and it's almost too quiet- they should maybe have just low music so it's not so silent! read more

This place has been on my list of places to try for a long time. Glad we finally got to go there! You order at the counter and then someone brings your food to you. Staff was all very friendly. Since the 3 of us have very different tastes in pizza toppings, we each got a small pizza. My daughter got pepperoni and extra cheese, my son got pepperoni and mild sausage and I got the dust devil, which has red chile. The outdoor patio was very cozy, even with a wobbly table. Fountain drinks are bottomless. Would definitely go back. read more

My job has taken us to live in many cities. From 2003-2005 we lived in Rio Rancho. Back in those days, Corrales wasn't as touristy as it is now and they only had a couple of restaurants and a bar. Our son was a toddler and as a family going to Village Pizza was a weekly tradition specially during their weekly buffet. They offered pizza, salad and the Green Chile Chicken Soup. 20 years later, our son now in his late 20s is back living in Rio Rancho. When my wife and I come up from Las Cruces to visit him, Village Pizza is a must visit. We still believe that their pizza is one of the best we ever eaten. My wife always orders the Green Chile Chicken Soup. I know that now they have another location but visiting Corrales is enjoyable. When friends come to the Albuquerque area, we always recommend them Village Pizza. They offer an Equestrian Discount if you ride your horse over and hitch up. Not one of those chain pizza places. Unique, clan, friendly quaint and reasonably price for the product produced. Excellent toppings. Good variety of craft beers as well. Servers and friendly and typically young. Orders are placed at the counter where you are given a number. Ordered are delivered to your table. Open seating. We travel a total of 80 miles each time we visit from Los Lunas NM. Worth the drive. read more

As someone who has been coming here since I was little (had a b-day party here like every other regular) what the hell happened to this place? Now when you walk in you order at the front and have to grab your drink, plates, napkins and silverware to take back to your table. They give you a number to bring your food to you, but all the staff are still walking around veryyyyy lost and guessing on what you ordered. I attached a picture of what their breadsticks look like bro. Pizza is still great (thank the lord) but no one comes to check on you (even with an overhead of about 10+ employees and they're all kinda hanging around) and you're basically at a fast food place. Amazing food and service! The employees are so sweet, the food is absolutely amazing, salad was 10/10, pizza was 10/10, calzones 10/10. Beer is ice cold, I took my kids here for the first time for a birthday, and they said they would never eat pizza again if it is not from here. So safe to say we enjoyed everything about the place! This is a really good pizza. I have to eat gluten-free and gluten-free crust is really good. I asked them to cook it a little extra crispy and they did. They are very generous with the toppings. I think this is one of the better pizza places in town. Though I don't eat a lot of pizza because Not a lot of them have good gluten-free pizzas. Omg! What a great experience! I got some really great news today and wanted to celebrate! My husband and I went here and Amelia was our server and she was awesome! What a great pizza parlor this is with many options for pizza and sides and beverages! Gluten free is available for 10 inch and tonight I had the wonderful beef stroganoff pizza! Our family have been dining at this location for years! We love the new changes to the interior and always enjoy the patio. Recently we dined and our Server Victoria was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She recommended a pizza we hadn't thought of trying and it was delicious! I love that the food is tasty and served hot. We do miss the Buffet at times but enjoy the time we sit together as a family and never feel rushed. I LOVE village pizza. Me and my husband go on dates there quite often. We order a pepperoni and green chile pizza and a plate of wings. The wings are my husband's favorite thing lol. I don't know how they make their ranch but i ALWAYS go to the front and order sometimes up to 10 extra cups of ranch! The ranch is sooooo tasty! We used to love getting the nachos at Village Pizza, so we were completely disappointed by them today. I don't know if ownership changed or they just changed the recipe but they were not what we remembered. Gone were the layers of cheese with shredded chicken, beans, chile, and delicious tortilla chips. Replaced by tortilla strip chips with an amalgam of nacho cheese sauce, mozzarella, Colby, black olives, red onion, and pickled jalapeños. The chicken appeared to be prepackaged herb chicken that you would find in the lunch meat section of a Walmart. It was edible, but not something I'll be back for. read more

I've been here several times but never reviewed it. In fact, I don't remember the pizza being THIS good. My wife and I met another couple at Ex Novo brewery, on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Hunger attacked as we drank super suds and we ordered Village Pizza. Yes, they deliver to Ex Novo. The wife and I ordered a large, thin crust, Greg's Albuquerque Magazine combo. This pizza features pepperoni, smoked ham, hot or mild green chile, mushrooms, red onions, minced garlic, hot or mild sausage, fire roasted red bell peppers, and artichoke hearts. My mistake was ordering the thin crust because it just couldn't stand up to all the generous toppings they piled high. See attached picture. Our friends ordered a green chile cheeseburger combo with cheddar cheese, ground beef, and hot or mild green chile. They ordered a regular crust which turned out to be better than the thin. We sampled each other's pizza and I must say both of them were some of the best pies I've ever eaten. Just look at my picture with all that savory green chile piled on. My friend said it was the best pizza he's ever eaten! There's no doubt we'll be eating this pizza again, maybe inside the restaurant next time. By the way, the view of the Sandias from Ex Novo brewery is gorgeous. read more

Top Line: Lunchero amigo, who previously worked in the area & invested man-years of his life to ingesting Village Pizza pies at the time, introduced me to the joint for what proved to be a super fine lunch as the week was winding down. We split a medium pizza between us. He still bein' a working guy on the clock soda'ed the drink column. Bein' a retired roustabout with no boss and an empty schedule, I scored a glass of Scotia Scotch Ale from our fine friends at Bosque Brewing, which was the darkest beer they had. It's a great accompaniment to pizza. Sorry, but I didn't catch catch the name of the pizza he ordered for us. But it came piled with a thick slathering of burger meat, green bell peppers, pepperoni, and green chiles, plus the obligatory saucification and cheezofaction. All of which was well prepped & cooked to Goldilocks just right righteousness. The pizza crust was of the thicker, toothy, bready sort that really facilitates the "fold & shovel it in" method of eatin' a pie. Substantial, dense, chewy goodness of a high magnitude of tastiness through and through. Young lady takin' orders & driving the cash register was friendly & efficient. Our waitress was likewise friendly as she came around checking on us a few times in the course of our hour long lunch and delivering a doggie box for the leftover slices destined for mi amigo's wee ones. So she struck a nice balance of attention without being intrusive. Premises were clean and delightfully decorated. I was truly impressed with the heavily beamed hacienda style architecture. Even though we were sitting in an interior room, it was bright and cheery from light flooding in the high clerestory windows and from an adjacent well windowed room. The bright artworks decorating the walls also added a lot to the cheerfulness of the space. Since we were pretty much the only customers there at that early lunch time, it was a spectacular and quiet space for conversing. Used to love this place. Recently they've had a problem estimating times on to go orders. The last time I went in, I was told 30 min and when I got there they hadn't started the order. Spent almost another 25 min waiting in the lobby. Today the estimate was 15 shy and when we got home, the order was incorrect so we had to return. read more

Our family has come here for decamped. My husband and I first introduced our families to one another on their beautiful patio, we had our twins baby shower in the banquet room and this last Sunday we celebrated the birthday of four pf our family members. The ingredients are always fresh and the trust on the pizza is always light and chewy. Honestly the original location is a slight notch above the newer Orilla location, we think it has to do with their seasoned ovens and the years they have been used. They did get rid of the salad bar but still have tons of salad options on the menu.
