I made a six-hour drive to The Clyde Theatre for the Ryan Adams Heartbreaker 2025 Tour, my second…read moreshow of Ryan's in two days. So, yeah, I had high hopes, being a repeat concert attendee. This was my first time at The Clyde, and while the drink from the bar missed the mark--zero flavor and nothing like the picture on the menu--it was the only hiccup in an otherwise smooth night. I couldn't bring myself to drink the "Easy Tiger" (the only reason I bought it was because it was Ryan-themed, honestly) because it was sooo bad (deduction of star for this reason). When the lights dimmed and Ryan Adams took the stage, the sound wrapped around me, filling every corner of the space with his signature, aching voice. I won't go on too long about the sound, though--it's a Sweetwater Sound building and a Ryan Adams collaboration. The sound had no choice but to be tight, clean, and alive. Security was present but relaxed, letting the night unfold without being a distraction, something I have seen security be at other venues. Parking was easy--probably the closest I've ever been for a Ryan show. Like literally right outside the front door. What is this!? I can't leave out the art in the bathroom--unexpected and quirky, a small touch that speaks to the venue's attention to detail. I'd return to The Clyde without hesitation. It's a space that supports live original, soulful, introspective, haunting music with ease. Next time, I just hope the drink tastes as good as the show sounds.

Additionally the seats are hard plastic and not comfortable. Couple this with wide bottom people whose rear ends spill onto my seat...not a comfortable experience. I would much rather go to another venue that specializes in comfort that do the Clyde again. On the positive side...buying tickets was easy. There was lots of parking close to the door. The facility is very attractive. The bar looked like a fun place. The show was excellent. The lightning and sounds were very good! The security lady was not friendly. All business - get in the door. The ushers were nice and full of smiles. Very kind. I was actually mildly offended by the security team that was "pushing" us out the door. We waited for a lot of the crowd to clear as it was a packed show. We stepped into the aisle as we were the last of the crowd leaving. These two thug-type Gestapo looking man stared us down. Every step we. Iced forward - they moved. It felt like they were crowding and pushing out the door. His forbid I had to go back to my seat to retrieve a left item. Again...the show and facility were nice. The close seating and security people made the experience not worthy of repeating!

The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory was a place I didn't get to spend a lot of time while in the downtown area, but I did enjoy the time I got to spend there. The conservatory has three indoor gardens and 1,000 varieties of plans (and 2,000+ plants). You can see cacti, palms, a chocolate tree and more. The conservatory was started by News-Sentinel publisher Helene Foellinger and Bill Sowers, a Fort Wayne attorney. The two often visited gardens and wanted Fort Wayne to have a similar experience. The conservatory opened in 1983 and houses 24,500 square feet of indoor gardens, four outdoor gardens, and is owned/operated by the Fort Wayne Parks and Rec department with charitable support. Fun fact 1: A beefsteak begonia was the first plant installed. Fun fact 2: In February 2024, the Conservatory had its three millionth visitor. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for youth (3-17), and free for ages 2 and under. There's a $1 Thursdays deal from 5-8pm and there's no admission fee for the cafe, conservatory shop, or sales garden. There's venue rental available and quite a few classes to take. I generally found things accessible - maybe a bit iffy in a couple spots, but I could generally function just fine. I will say I didn't quite explore everything as I was on a schedule, but for what I experienced I really enjoyed it and could get where I wanted to get.

How are those people supposed to make they're money on just the weekend!? My idea is to have a place for people to Drop off handicap people, then go find a place to park, and be able to pick them up at drop off point. we ended up getting picked up in the delivery lanes that were blocked off. Worked out well for us, but it needs to be for all!! I feel you're not accommodating the disabled and handicap people very well!

They're somewhat inconveniently located right in the first and second part of the building which makes for a somewhat congested and loud atmosphere filled with crying and running kids all over the place. The actual conservatory exhibits are something straight out of The Land Before Time. The rainforest, desert and floral exhibits are large, lush and well kept. I was rather impressed and quite surprised at how nice this location is since I'm spoiled in the sense that the botanical gardens I have in my hometown are rather extensive and pretty epic.

With restored former fire trucks and horse-drawn vehicles used within the city, it was a really neat experience! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and also active firefighters within the city. Two floors and several rooms, you can see up close current restoration projects they're also working on. Admission was only $4 a person, and well worth the stop!

They moved people through the line very quickly and efficiently. We got good seats in the second or third row from the screen and were able to see perfectly. The sound came through SO good. The only issue I have is that I think it was either staff or the owner but he like knocked on my window which I thought was kind of rude and also as a girl I'm like what the heck dude back off? The concessions were actually really good! And the prices are soooo flexible for a big group of people. I was very impressed and happy with the whole turn out.

And that really is the main problem with going here in the summer is that you can't start the movies before 9 or 10pm, so by the time you get to the end of the second movie it is past 1am. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I guess that is what caffeine and candy are for though. It is an enjoyable experience...Throwing the football around waiting for the sky to darken, seeing the Big Dipper hang above the screen, hearing the crickets chirping over the movie, getting bit by a mosquito, and hanging out outside watching a flic while the sky darkens into a dark black and the stars start to pop. Typically we bring some lawn chairs, a small table, many blankets and a small radio that we plug into the car. We park the car facing away from the screen, pop the lift gate of the van, reverse the last row of seats and then we have seating for 6 easy, good audio, and easy access to items in the car. The seating options give you the ability to walk around, change seats, etc., because sitting in your car for several hours watching a movie may not be as pleasant as you think.
