Very special place with great people running it. The cider is spectacular it's my favorite.

I've been bringing my kids here for years. We love the wide varieties of apples they have that you can't find anywhere else. My daughters have their favorite trees that we track down each year, the pink pearls and candelabras being the top picks for them. I really enjoy the liberty and giant honeycrips. They have delicious apple cider for sale and regularly give out free samples. The owners are super kind and helpful, they have a picture of the orchard and will navigate you to the different varieties. One thing to note they are cash only. We usually stay around 2hrs and spend $30-40 on a few pounds of apples and cider. It's a really fun annual family activity.

A shop with homemade apple butter, local honey, and fresh pressed Apple Cider!

A great kid friendly experience with a variety of apples. They also have a shop with local honey, fresh pressed apple cider, and apple butter.

We had never picked apples before and this was such a fun experience! Tons of space for littles to run and different types of apples to pick. The farm animals were so sweet too!

Lovely apple orchard and so much more! Mt children absolutely loved getting to help press apples into fresh cider, and of my goodness it was Delicious We enjoyed saying hi to the farm animals as well, and then the kids got excess energy out jumping on the trampoline. I highly recommend visiting this apple orchard!

My experience was awesome…read more To begin with, I had never been to this island located at the northwest end of Portland. I was pleasantly surprised, if not shocked, by the beauty and country feel given the proximity to Portland: farm after farm for 4+ miles to the destination after crossing the bridge to the island and the long extended view of farmland as I walked the fields with the beauty of the Forest Park trees as a backdrop: not bad at all! The operation was well organized and staff was informative of what was available, and where to find the best bounties. I found that they had a variety of raspberries and they were truly differentwith regard to taste. I have gone berry pickin' for over 40 years and have sometimes found the berries to look great but be bland on taste. Their raspberries both looked good and did justice to the look with the taste. As for price, I found the price to be extremely fair. All in all, a great hour plus of pickin' fantastic raspberries.. In addition, the kicker is the farm offered an additonal benny on this particular day: from 6-8 pm two members of the Portland based bluegrass band Whiskey Deaf performed for free at the gazebo on property.

Columbia U-Pick Farm has some really fun varieties you don't always see elsewhere, like raspberry caps and pink lemonade blueberries. Everything is sold by weight, so you can pick as much or as little as you'd like! Don't forget to sample as you go while you're picking, that's the fun part! The berries are locally grown, the scenery is truly whimsical, and I guarantee that this visit will turn into a core summer memory! The staff here are super kind and friendly - in the spring time, you can also come here and u-pick your own peonies! What a gem of a spot, located only 30 mins from downtown PDX. If you've never gone berry picking before, start here.

Thankfully blue bee farms was open on a Sunday so we decided to go with them, it also happened to be the last day of harvesting. There was a tent with the sweet owners who handed out little baskets and buckets to help you fill blueberries, they also had little wagons which the kids had a blast riding and playing with. My niece also loved that they cute hats to chose from. They guided us on where we could get the best and most blueberry which at the time was behind the house. We had so much fun, our whole family enjoyed the time eating and picking blueberries. The owner said it was pesticide free so we could eat the berries straight from the tree. Some of the family who were skeptical about having a good time, had a blast filling up their buckets. The blueberries tasted so good too! Would definitely recommend coming here whether for fun or if you just want some fresh yummy blueberries.
