My son loves pumpkins that it inspired our recent trip here. I've never been to a pumpkin patch before. I was really clueless of what to expect. There were several activities to do here besides pumpkin picking. The staff was nice as we were greeted with friendly smiles. The admission price is $18 at the entrance. It's $16 online, but you have to reserve a time slot. Children under two years old are free. I don't go to farms regularly so I don't have much to compare to it. We visited on a weekday, which wasn't too busy. It was mainly made up of school field trips. It was an enjoyable fall activity for my toddler. He was too small to fully enjoy the big slides and other playground areas. He still had fun seeing the different types of pumpkins and farm animals that he recognized from his books. He liked running around and going through the tunnels. There was a corn maze and carnival style games without the prizes. There was also a hayride, which you can also use to go to the parking lot. It's not a long walk to the parking lot, but it's good to know it was an option. There's a store if you want a souvenir or some apple cider. I forgot to take photos to post with this review, but I guess we were just caught up in the pumpkin patch fun. ***Updated review after going to this farm for pumpkin season*** During Christmas time, you get to explore the grounds without paying an admission, but for the fall season it's $18 admission per person at the gate or $16 if you purchase tickets online ahead of time. There are a few more activities included during the fall season, but most require an additional cost anyway. For example they have pig races and pony rides on the weekends, but the pony rides cost $9. They also have apple and pumpkin cannons, but they cost $5 each. There are some activities only available on weekends, but if you're trying to avoid crowds and go on a weekday, admission costs the same. And on top of all that you still need to buy the pumpkins that you pick out. And you need to buy some pumpkin donuts before you leave (do not miss out on these donuts!) So, while I love this farm, it can turn into quite an expensive day depending on how many people you are coming with and which activities you choose to do. read more

We used to think it was great - now it's even better, having significantly expanded the grounds and activities. We found plumper through our kids preschool and we are so glad we did! This is our third year going, and we have never been disappointed. This was by far our favorite year, we went on a Saturday at 10:00 am (Nov 1st 2025) and because only a few people were there the kids were able to take their time and explore everything that peaked their interest. The animals were also very lively and fun to observe. We bought 3 feed cups which was the perfect amount of time for little people to feed the baby goats, lambs and ewes. Our children giggled with delight as the babies little furry lips tickled their hands as they ate the feed from their hands. I think its worth every penny! Children grow so quickly memories they will carry a lifetime. I love the experience plumper gives to children to experience the pure joy of observing and interacting with the friendly animals on the farm. The Animals and corn maze were top favorites. Probably the best pumpkin patch I've been to in the local area. A lot of parking in the grass. The donuts, pumpkin spice are delicious and soft and the apple cider is very quenching. There's so much to do in a decent sized area, such as pumpkin cannons horse riding basketball hoops, corn maze, pumpkin patch, and more. Took our one year old here, and he had so much fun. Such a cool place! I don't have pics because we did LOTS OF VIDEO and I forgot to take pictures. Most important was the staff was frickin' awesome! And extremely diverse, which shows just a wonderful culture being built. The diversity shows some good core values as well, that we appreciate and want to expose our family to! Everyone smiled, everyone joked around, and everyone helped us out or answered questions. Pumpkins were epic! All shapes, sizes, and colors. Prices were wonderful! Their little store was a lot of fun, with cool options of jellies, toys, eggs, honey, soap, cider and SO much more! Prices are fair, and as expected a little higher than you would find at a grocery store. All of the activities were a lot of fun. Admission alone pays for tons of fun, and the additional cost for extras was fair. Canons were great, bubbles were a huge favorite, slides, structures and play areas were a hit, food was good, corn maze was fun, hay ride was great. I have no complaints about any of our experience! After Halloween someone stole and smashed our "plumpest" one on the walkway and then hid the remains in the bushes far away from our condo. We had a great time at Plumper Pumpkin Patch today! They have many animals to see, pet & feed. Lots of activities..there is a ton to do here. Multiple slides, rubber duck races, ball games, pumpkin & apple cannons, tetherball, hayride, corn maze, etc. The food was noticeably good (& a great deal!). When we arrived they had a lovely woman and gentleman who offered us popcorn. We bought some feed for the animals which comes in paper bags. My partner and I had so much fun at plumper! We bought tickets online and got in quickly. Our first stop was to buy feed and see the animals. They have so many animals to pet, watch, and feed. We ended up buying even more feed bags when we stopped by the store to buy some pumpkin donuts. Luckily they have hand sanitizer stations & handwashing stations all around the farm so we could stay clean. Then we checked out their little corn walk; it isn't very big, but it's nice to stroll around in and feel the fall vibes. We didn't play with the cannons, but I could tell people were having a lot of fun shooting apples and pumpkins. And of course, we ended things by picking out our favorite pumpkins!! Okay I really fell in love with this place! My family has never really done the real tree thing, but we got invited to the farm and decided this would be the year to try. This farm was so so cute. Amazing little gift shop with Santa and THE best donuts I've ever had?! And of course you MUST get the hot apple cider to wash it down. The most delicious combo of 2022. The animals are adorable and you can tell they're well taken care of. The cottage/property on the land was beautiful. Amazing little walking trail goes around the farm, so you can sip you cider and walk around. There was a gentleman who spoke to us and told us a little bit about the farm, he was very nice and welcoming! We cut down our own tree too, which was a new experience for us and really cool they let you do that. There was some trouble when it came to tagging our trees. We waited in line for 15 mins and the woman tagging trees said since our trees were small, we just take them up to the booth and pay for a small tree. The woman at the booth said no, we needed them tagged. Luckily I was able to point out the woman who said we don't need them tagged, and the woman at the booth seemed defeated and just let us pay for them with no tag. On our way out 2 more women in a golf cart stopped us to make sure we payed for them, since they were not tagged. We said we did and there was no problem. Just make sure you tag your tree! read more

So many of our usual Christmastime activities were canceled this year, so we were very happy to find Plumper Tree Farm. There is no cost to visit the farm and there is plenty to do - walk the animal loop, play on the slides, warm up by the fire. They have a little store that sells homemade donuts, christmas decor, and select toys (tractors, alpaca stuffed animals) and everything was reasonably priced. You can cut your own tree or choose a precut and there are plenty of staff members available to assist with checking you out and shaking/baleing your tree. Everyone was masked and their were several hand sanitizer stations throughout the property. My only recommendation to the owners would be that they play christmas music on the property to add to the already festive atmosphere. Hi, local mom and photographer here! Plumper is an amaaazingly cute pumpkin patch and tree farm and I have been twice this year. The first visit was to go to the pumpkin patch with my 1.5 year old son. He loved running around, swerving between pumpkins, and seeing the animals! The atmosphere was lovely. Very family-friendly. The second visit was to do some family photos for another local family. The staff was SO accommodating and allowed us to come pre-season before the trees were ready to be cut/purchased. They have a pretty big selection of trees and a lot of really cute decor! They've got two photo stations set up (one outdoor and one indoor). I'm excited to go back next weekend to walk around their gift shop once it's open! Thanks for the wonderful experiences! Update: I went back with my son (1.5 years old) and my mom to explore a little more. We had an amazing time! My kiddo loved walking around in the trees and seeing all of the animals. As Fall is here and with out of town guests we decided to go venture out to Plumper's on Saturday afternoon and it didn't feel as crowded with crazy lines until late afternoon as we arrived a little before 1pm. The pumpkin picking and weigh/pay is up at the front which is nice and the store with baked goods and food is in tart close too. Admissions per person starts at $8, $12, or 6 person family pass for $60 as children 1yr old and under are free (which wasn't noted anywhere on the signs and only answered when I asked). Depending on the amount you pay, you get different activities to do. Other activities like the apple, corn, pumpkim cannons, face painting and pony ride are bought with tokens (essentially 1 token is a $1) The stations are laid out like different courses and by taking the hay ride it drops you off the cannons which you can walk down to see and go to do all the other activities- slides, animal farm, photo opportunities with cutouts, barrel train ride etc. There are portable restrooms all around and hand washing signs + stations nearby, especially in the farm area with all the animals. Along the way donut and snack items available for extra purchase and a food truck too. Lots of picnic tables for eating, resting, and a couple shaded canopy tents near the tunnel slides too. Overall, for someone who hasn't been to a pumpkin patch/farm since elementary school it was fun to go with younger family members. It did see well organized though could use some improvement as only some staff went over safety rules (two that I encountered) and staff didn't really check if we had entry bracelets. As the line for admissions was growing, the farm store ran out of tokens so everyone had to move which was a bummer. read more

Plumper's is an adorable little farm located in Northwest Portland not too far from our house in Bethany. We used to go to Sauvie Island for Halloween stuff, but now we get to go close to home. Plumper's has all the pumpkins you need-- you can get them in their heaps or go find them in the field yourself. They have hayrides, kettlecorn, food, baked goods, decorations, and at Christmas they have trees. It's a sweet little place. My kid especially likes their playground area. I do hear tell that they do birthday parties, too, BTW. Oh, and they also have a barrel train, pony rides, and a giant pumpkin flinger... can't remember what you call that, not a slingshot... Alzheimer's setting in. Huh. Well, what I do remember is that we all like it! It's a great place to go get muddy and get your squash on. read more

I hate to say it, but they have fallen off a bit due to low staffing. Granted, we went on a Wednesday, but they were sold out of doughnuts before 11 AM (they used to sell them fresh and hot all day), I didn't see a corn maze or the apple or pumpkin cannons going, and the staff all seemed exhausted. I went to two pumpkin patches this year. While the country girl in me very much appreciates the rustic country atmosphere of this pumpkin patch I would have appreciated having more hand sanitizer/paper towels/toilet paper at the facility. The sanitizer bottle after farm animals was completely empty and there were a few paper towels in the dispenser and this was at the beiggning of the day right after the facility opened. My son on the other hand loved the slides and I got a ton of cute pictures of him at the patch. The pumpkin donuts were very good. Animals are fun and love that they sell the feed in bags for a dollar vs doing the little machines that drop feed into your hand. Play area is ok but out of every farm I've been to it's definitely the least amount of work put in and the least amount to do. Usually we can spend hours at a pumpkin patch and did last week at a different farm. We spent about an hour and were ready to go. 12 dollars only gets you in and access to see everything but any activity is extra. Hay ride or a single pumpkin are not Included. Pumpkins are not in a patch they are just tossed in areas around a field directly off the parking lot and not a ton of variety. Also pumpkins are 50 cents a pound which adds up fast. Anyway, not impressed and won't be back. Spent the same amount of money with 4 hours worth of things to do. Free cider or coco, pumpkin, hay ride, multiple kids areas, cannon shooting etc literally so much more for the same price. So I personally think it's a waste of my time to go here. This was my family's first of many years to come visiting the farm and I must say, "it did not disappoint"! The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The Christmas trees were beautiful and affordable. The animals were well cared for and playful. The only thing I thought was a bit pricey was the fire pit but even though it was worth every penny! First time visiting this farm! Was very impressed by the pumpkin selection and loved that it is so kid friendly for our 2 and 4 year old, and dog friendly! It was the first trip to a pumpkin patch for our puppy and we had a very enjoyable experience! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was excited to see our kids interacting with the animals and enjoying their time at the farm. As we kept walking, we noticed almost all animals had new babies. The only downfall was regardless of the animal, ALL water bowls were incredibly low and very dirty with algae, dirt, hay, etc and they appeared to be a little stressed. This pumpkin patch is great, and, like all pumpkin patches, it comes at a price. $10 a person for an "adventure pass" that gets you into the play areas, farm animal viewing areas, and unlimited rides on the hayride and barrel train. That in itself is on the reasonable side, but if someone wants a ride on the ponies, it is another $6. It costs $1 to chuck a pumpkin with a slingshot, and then $2 for each use of the pumpkin cannon. There is also face painting available that ranged from $5-$20(!) per your option. Honestly, there is a ton of stuff you can do with just the adventure pass. Kids can run around an play for hours in the play areas. There is even a regular playground structure on the site. I understand the usual point of going to the pumpkin patch is to pick out pumpkins, but you can get less expensive pumpkins at the grocery store. So, I would recommend either picking out one pumpkin from the patch and getting the rest at a different place, or foregoing the pumpkin picking all-together. Just come to the patch for the activities! I've come to this location the last 2 Octobers, and we have really enjoyed it. We have lucked out with nice sunny days, and I'm not sure it would be as fun on a wet day. read more

New to the Hillsboro area, visited this pumpkin patch for the first time and was hesitant because of the $12 entry charge (considering there are many other patches around with no charge) but I would say it was WELL worth the money and we will most definitely be returning here next year.
