It is difficult waiting til 3 pm to eat anywhere; but adding Bike Week in the area, made the wait even worse. However, my wait was only 10-15 minutes and was worth it! Being short staffed because of the current administration's addition of $300 to unemployment, many tables were being left unoccupied. The working staff, however, was not only efficient, but exceptionally pleasant. The food was equally 'on point'. I chose the seafood pizza, but asked the lobster to be withheld, since the cost for Lobster has increased since the menu was printed... $3 more for the pizza and $6 more for other meals with lobster. At $21 for a LUNCH 12" pizza, the additional $3 seemed ridiculous. My pizza was EXCELLENT!Lots of creamy, sweet cheese and plenty of shrimp and scallop chunks. Considering today's 'conditions' of restaurants being shoqrt-handed and increasing their lunch prices to 'the old' dinner, my meal was well worth it. I was nearly surrounded by the beautiful lake views and pleasant, happy guests. America at its best!

We were driving around and stopped into the diner for a late lunch. Luckily, we arrived shortly before their closing time of 1:30PM. We had the diner to ourselves. We were not super hungry, so we decided on a bowl of clam chowder for each of us. Wow - we were so impressed! It was thick and full of clams.

Stopped in for a quick bite before getting on the road. Small but clean, staff is polite, efficient, food was fresh, filling - would definitely recommend this spot for brunch.

Great breakfast. Good service. Classic diner feel. I don't believe there were options for parties larger than four people.

So disappointed that there wasn't a single GF item on the menu. My grandson and I are both GF so we will need to find an alternative.

This is a classic diner. Inexpensive, simple. Great breakfast sandwich. Good coffee. No muss, no fuss. The waitresses are all very nice.

You haven't had eggs until you tried this place. Make sure you try the homemade cinnamon toast.

Randy's PitStop Diner - French Toast

On the Tuesday morning after Labor Day we brought my adult daughter with us to Randy's PitStop…read moreDiner (she had not been before). We got the same great service as if they hadn't just had a busy holiday weekend, except they were out if chorizo. We don't eat chorizo anyway, so no matter. I tried something new, the ham, turkey, and cheese sandwich on french toast! Yum!! My daughter got the same and enjoyed it too. We especially loved the deep fried potatoes. My husband got his favorite, corned beef hash. We'll be back!

We were there for the promise of a fantastic breakfast. The menu is manageable, lots of choices~all pitstop themed~ but not so many that it was a chore to choose. I decided on a 3 egg swiss and mushroom omelette. It was explained that toast was extra, which isn't the norm, at least in my experience. But I dove in and ordered Rye. My Son ordered 2eggs over easy, the potatoes (not the deep fried version), bacon, ham, sausage and 2 pancakes. This breakfast seemed to include a toast option, for those who are keeping score. The food was spectacular. Very well done, simply, and with no frills save for a killer playlist that included Bittersweet Symphony. You don't often find yourself sitting at a counter, eating breakfast with special toast and hear The Verve. Worth a mention. The service was crisp, thorough and we did get a lovely smile and thank you as we checked out. But at the end of it all, the food is, or should be the star. And it was.

We finally got to try the Lincoln Diner! Nice location and…read morebeautiful, historical train wagon restaurant that has moved towns and locations a few times throughout the years, and has now been in Lincoln since 2025. There weren't many people lined up, but we still ended up waiting about 30 min for a table. This seems to be caused by a lack of staff - we noticed tables weren't being cleaned up for a good 10-15 min after people left, and waitresses were rushing around. Honestly from what we observed - they could slash their waiting time by half by being more efficient and/or hiring busboys. But moving on. Food was definitely worth the wait! Boyfriend and I both had the "Cadillac" breakfast (because, well, our car) and we both loved it. He had pancakes with it and I had French toast - I *loved* the French toast. Delicious. Boyfriend also had a side of corned beef hash and I had a bite - it was my first time trying corned beef and I liked it a lot! He liked it too, and says he's usually picky with that dish, so... Overall we would return! Food was great and service was super friendly.

Atmosphere was diner-cool, families galore were indulging and enjoying. The food was a mixed batch. Decent portions, poor presentation, mediocre taste, but beef quality & cook was good. Mashed potatoes were ok, but appearance was a lil funky. A bit more pan jus would've helped because it was absorbed by the potatoes. I love a diner breakfast, so I'll go back another day for that. And maybe come back for an edit here...

I don't know if our server was new, or if they were understaffed. I also don't know if the cook was new. At the end, I will tell you why I won't eat there again. Let's start with after we were seated it took a good 5 minutes or more before our server showed up. We almost left, but we had gone to El Tequila first only to learn that they are out of business. Darn! (We loved El Tequila! Tell me if you know, if they left the area or what). I should have known not to eat my food when the server thought I had ordered coke though I ordered lemonade! I have never had anyone ever confuse those! I ordered a Mexican omelet and hash browns (because I was really in the mood for Mexican food)! The omelet was good, but there was no seasoning in the ground beef, certainly not taco meat by any stretch of the imagination! I used all my sour cream (which had a lot of water in the container--does sour cream spoil?). And I used all my salsa. It was the only way I could even get an inkling of Mexican flavor. The hash browns were dripping with oil, so I onky had a couple bites of them. Sad! I drank about half my lemonade and asked for a To Go cup, but that never showed up. I waited as long as I could because the cramping started and I told my daughter, "We gotta get home." (I had the runs!) So, no, we won't be going back to Union diner again. Later I remembered this happened to me once before after eating there, but I had blamed it on the eggs. I think now, it must be the oil they use or something.
