BUT SO WORTH IT - I highly recommend this! The filling is INSANE. Crunchy outside with an awesome dipping sauce. They're large so I think next time I will order (2) with a side salad for a meal. Courtney was a very humorous, kind server that came by at appropriate times to check on us. Not sure of the hostess's name but she was lovely & brought us silverware when we requested. I believe that either a general manager or owner came over to check on us which was a nice touch. If you share the Pier Platter, note that there is a $5 'surcharge' to split where you allegedly get 'more sides' - I don't think that is necessarily true but boy, it's beyond delicious. There were (2) small dipping sauce cups of coleslaw on each plate, as well as waffle fries. One thing that knocked down a star is that the haddock seemed to be skimpy, possibly frozen. Flavor was great, but it was almost like a fish stick. In the past, we'd share a platter & received a large piece of fresh fried haddock. It's nice that they can accommodate parties of 2 so easily. There were several large groups, primarily families so it's certainly kid-friendly. They serve up some of the BEST fries! Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either.
