I love walking through these antique shops and warehouses just to look around and see all the neat things from the past. My house is full of antiques already so I didn't need to buy anything. A salesman who worked there was very nice and asked a few times if I needed any assistance finding something. The one negative thing about this shop is that everything was pricey.

So glad we found this place. Got in town early for a Lakers game and had time to kill. Other Yelpers mentioned the ceiling tile mirrors and we found a cool one. They gave us a decent price and helped us load.

I'm sure you've heard this phrase before.. "Another man's junk is another man's treasure. You can spend hours at Olde Good Things. This place is crammed with all sorts of collectables, antiques, and vintage items and furniture. A couple of cool finds: Vintage refurbished Frigidaire from the 50's or 60's. Manual peddle washing machine. Great in front of the tv. Refurbished barber chair. Located on corner of 18th and Grand just south of DTLA.

Would you pay $450 plus $250 shipping for a door with peeling paint that looks like this?

Beware. I spent weeks working with Veronica in the door dept by email. I wanted a single-panel door, which typically runs $140. She never answered my questions about the cost of the door early in the conversation (although in response to my email she did tell me the shipping price, conveniently forgetting to tell me the price of the door itself). At the end, guess what? Got a big surprise: $450 for that $140 door PLUS $250 in shipping. $700 plus tax for an old door with layers of peeling lead-based paint? Of course she knew that I live in NYC. Needless to say, I passed.

Holy cow! This place is AMAZING!!! I was looking for a closet door with character, something more that just the regular selection from Home Depot/Lowe's, etc. I thought vintage might be the way to go, so after a quick google search I came across this place, which wasn't terribly far from me. I went in and was in heaven! They had so many doors, so many styles, so many choices. But it's not just doors - every inch of this place has incredible stuff - lights, shelves, countertops, doors, door handles, whatever you need inside a home. I loved it so much that a week later I brought my fiancé there just to show him the place and we wound up buying a light too! Along with amazing finds, I found that the prices were actually reasonable for an antique store. Chuck is super nice, and he gives you space to look around, but is there when you need something. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I will definitely be a life long customer at Olde Good Things. Robert was refreshingly kind and helpful. He made the process of purchasing my table easy and flawless all the way down to the delivery. The table is extremely high quality and comes with a loving story and attention to detail that only a true collector would appreciate. Not only does Olde Good Things offer furniture but everything from vintage doorknobs to real marble mantels. You get what you pay for and that is excellent service and impressive wulait

We purchased two of these doors years ago and this small table at Olde Good Things. My son turned them into a beautiful outdoor table.

We purchased a small wrought iron table and two doors. My son turned them into a large outside dining table. It can easily sit eight. When we sold our house all the bidders wanted us to include it in the sale. Nope!

I was greeted, upon wandering in to his sweet, salvage retreat, by a kind fellow who told me this... "Take your time, take a long time to look, and look carefully - each of these Items took a long time to get here... and they deserve the same in return' Needless to say from that moment on I was mesmerized. An eclectic gathering of everything from doorknobs, to light fixtures to streetlights - Olde Good Things is a wonderland of exactly what it advertises. Whether you are decorating your home - gathering set pieces for a project or just in need of some inspiration Olde Good Things is a destination worthy of investigation.

We looked at several furniture stores and went to LA Furniture Store and Design Center based on the outstanding customer reviews. We were looking for a mid-end sofa recliner and found exactly what we wanted: A quality piece of furniture, firm and comfortable, with a durable leather covering and backed by a good company. Phillip, our sales person, introduced himself as we entered and informed us about the sale prices and the layout of the store. He allowed us to browse, uninterrupted and was available to answer any questions that we had. He made the buying process very relaxed and convenient. We wanted to think about the purchase so we called back the next day and Phillip assisted us with placing our order online. The process was secure and convenient as they use a secure link to provide credit card information. Phillip kept in contact with us throughout this process and confirmed each step, which was reassuring. We highly recommend LA Furniture Store and Design Center based on our exceptional experience.

We were in the market for a new couch for our home after returning one from another store that just didn't work out. Jazmine was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all the different styles and fabrics, explained what would be best for easy cleaning, pet-friendly living, and even gave tips on colors that help hide fur (huge plus for dog owners like us!). We visited twice before making a decision, and Jazmine never rushed us--she made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. We ended up choosing the Bryant Petite Modular Sectional in Royale Sage, and it's absolutely perfect for our space and lifestyle. If you're looking for great furniture and even better customer service, definitely check out Joybird Downtown LA and ask for Jazmine. She made the experience amazing!

The store is quite expansive with many different models on display. I shared my preferences with one of the associates, Kayla, (sizing/firmness/seat depth) and she was very kind to show me models that fit the criteria. At the end of my visit, Kayla provided some fabric swatches and emailed links to the couches I had expressed interest in. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend checking out Joybird if your budget allows!

It took some time to complete since it's made to order, but we expected it. When it arrived, it completely changed the room. We're very happy with it.

I wanted to wait until I had enough money to purchase the sofa and they were patient. Once I paid (outside of Etsy) then the issues began. Communication was not great and I called and left messages and finally heard from Luis. I received 3 different completion dates and then one last communication (through Etsy) that they were working on the upholstery after the last ship date was provided to me in an email (not through Etsy) from Luis. Then all of a sudden I hear from the shippers without having heard from the shop that the sofa was completed. The final product? It's very nice, so I am pleased, but I am not sure I'd go through the agita again with this shop. I know they are not a "box store" and I paid for a custom sofa, but that doesn't mean poor communication and customer service. I worked in art shipping for several years at a place that also did house moves and furniture moves for high end clients and know how important customer service is and that if we had to move our dates around we had to communicate asap as we knew people were making arrangements around these jobs. I think they could treat customers with more respect. I am not a wealthy person so the cost of the sofa was a lot for me and I expect some respect and forthrightness.
