But that said, their bread looks delicious and I will be back at some point to try it. It was the perfect addition of sweet but not too sweet and complimented the cinnamon rolls perfectly as opposed to others I've had with sugary glazes. The only critiques would be that it was almost too much frosting, and I would have liked a bit more cinnamon inside the actual dough. The cheesy egg croissant wasn't the best I've ever had. The egg was a bit too dry and I expected it to be super cheesy, but I had a hard time finding the cheese in every bite. The croissant was flaky but had an interesting sweetness to it that was a bit strange to me. Tasty but not my favorite and not something I'd go out of my way for. There are other bakeries closer to me that I enjoy more, and since this is a hit of a drive, not sure I'll go out of my way. But definitely give their cinnamon rolls a try if you're in the area!

We ordered a classic French baguette, spiral laminated pastry with raspberry and pistachio, spiral laminated pastry with pineapple, a nordic quiche, and a latte. Like hands down. The nordic quiche was also excellent and is a quiche with cheese and smoked salmon and comes with a side salad and balsamic vinegar. The nordic quiche was a 9.5/10. The latte was a 7/10. Now, the baguette. They had two different ones, one that Americans are more familiar with and one that is a classic French one. The classic French one was more crispy but softer interior. I had ordered it to go and it was a long baguette that only cost $3. I literally ate the whole thing before my day was over. Didn't even make it that long. I think we paid about $30, without tip. It was most definitely worth it. My overall rating is a 9/10 and I loved it. I can't wait to come back. They also stock a variety of related items like jams/jellies, soup mixes, cookies, etc. You can choose the ones slighly out of date or a few days older for lower prices. Given that these are all items with a long shelf life meant to stock the shelves in a grocery store, it hardly matters - I always choose the cheapest option and have never had a problem. On certain days, the prices are ever lower...I forget whether its Monday or Wednesday that all bread is $1 a loaf. Can't beat that. The store rarely has more than a couple people shopping inside. There are usually only one or two people working in the store, and even though it's not busy out front, they are busy with bookkeeping in the office. Nevertheless, they come quickly to the register if you're ready to check out. I bet they get kinda lonely some days and appreciate a cheery customer now and then. The only negative I can think of is that the prices of junk food snacks are actually rather high. I think they rely on the convenience to make a high markup.

Their big hit has gotta be their homemade whoopie pies! As soon as I walked in I was hit with the amazing aromas of their pies, and boy did they smell good. I wasn't quite hungry yet to try one (when I do I am very excited haha). However while in here I DID try one of their seasonal lattes. I wanted something other than pumpkin so I went for the teddy graham flavor. I was blown away at how identical it tasted to ripping open a pack of actual teddy grahams! The woman working the store were sooo friendly and helpful in picking out which coffee that's been a hit with the other patrons. Smiling friendly faces are always a plus in my book! I also noticed in the corner a "mug swap" where you can take a mug leave a mug and even wrote down a little message of the story of said mug haha. I didn't get a photo but I absolutely adore this idea to fight the urge to add another mug to the collection without running out of room
