I will never visit Aspen dental again!! I was in pain before I visited and now I'm in even more pain, and incredibly frustrated by the unprofessionalism and poor customer service I received today. I made an appointment in the morning because I had an infection and had a tooth extracted. Their team prescribed two medications and as of the end of the day, CVS still has only received 1 of them. I called the office two hours after being seen and the front staff said they didn't send the medication, to give them an hour to check with the dr. I called back an hour and a half later and they said they were working on it. I called CVS to see if they received the order and again, they had not. I call back their office and asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold and then transferred to a number that just rang and no one picked up. I tried their office again and was put on hold and then hung up on. I reached out to their corporate number on their website, (844) 296-0187. The person I contacted tried to reach out to their office and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I was then transferred to their national emergency line. I explained the situation and they said would make sure my prescription would get sent. Magically, one of my prescriptions showed up in my CVS app. I then received a call from Dr Miles. She said that she sent my prescription to CVS twice and that CVS might be out of stock, and then good bye. No apologies, no asking how I am doing. Just the bare minimum to say they "followed up". But after the phone call, I got a barrage of txt messages and emails to the point of annoyance ! I should have read the reviews before I scheduled. Today was my first visit with Aspen. This definitely won't be my primary choice for dental care. First issue, once my xrays were completed I was informed the dentist I was supposed to see left. The dentist that was assigned to me was very rough; pulling my yanking my jaw and constantly hit my teeth and gums hard with the mirror. Only to learn today was his first day. Second issue, once I went upfront to schedule my cleaning. I was told the bill after my issues would be $146 after insurance. $100 to treat an issue with teeth #31&32 that no one ever mention. They called the dentist up and I asked why he didn't mention whatever I was being charged for. Pause, stumble then some explanation. I refused that service. My cleaning was scheduled for 4pm today. Third issue, 3:08pm I received a phone call from the dental office asking if I could come in early. Since I was in the middle of something I decided to keep the original appointment at 4pm. Fourth issue, when I arrived at 4pm. They stated "we tried to call you to come in earlier because the hygentist had an emergency and had to leave". Please note, over the phone me coming in earlier was a completely optional suggestion. This was such a waste of my time. Since I've already payed the $46 for something additional for my cleaning and because my insurance will be billed for the X-rays I may as well keep my reschuled appointment for a cleaning next week. I came for my initial appointment with Aspen Dental. First problem I have is they do an initial consultation without guarantee of a cleaning. I have never experienced this before with any other dental office. Second, they refused to see me unless I did the panel x-rays which may or may not be covered by my insurance. I have done this type of xray before and have been stuck with a huge bill. They refused to do bite wing x-rays instead as I requested. As a result appointment was canceled. Awful evil crooks. They tried committing fraud on me by sending a bill I had to collections and then charging me that bill in their office after I paid collections (3 month bill they said they would include in next visit). They wanted to get double paid. They have lost every email the root canal place sent to them every time. On day of appointment they had to call and have them email my file again because their staff are headless chickens running around clueless. They never pick up when i call. They think they have a right to reschedule us. No you don't, stick to the schedule. We have jobs. Dentist didnt prep my teeth well enough for crowns and i have to go back in for more prep work because the dentists got their education off the back of a cereal box. This place is a nightmare and im not even half way done with my work i need done. Im tempted to take the loss and just go to another dental office. If I could give 0 star. This office is off a good start of some available appointments than other dentist office, but please don't let that fool you. My appointment got canceled multiple times and their hygienist always sick. I got charge for the merchandise I did not want and they don't tell you right there. Never got a refund, and they told me I don't make up their policy and their policy is not good and outdated. Until today, I have not gotten any money back, and I requested an invoice so I can file my BBB complaint, they said they were going to send it did not receive yet. I went to the Aspen Dental in Conyers, GA. I had to stop going because I was told I had to wait unil April 2024 before my implant would be complete if then. I have been waiting for close to two years with this from one Aspen Dental facility to another. I have tried calling the location several times and no one picks up. My number must be on some list. My insurance is still being charged even thougth I had no service. Because they won't send the money back like promised, the dental insurance I used are expecting me to pay. The strews that dentist put in my mouth have come out and this is what is so frightening because I don't know what this means. My patience has come to an end. I wish I would of looked at the reviews for the Conyers location. The first thing that bother me was being sent home 2 out of 3 visits as if I lived around the corner. My 2nd visit was to remove 2 teeth for $700 (no dental insurance). A $150 just to walk in the office, smh. I was sent home & told to come back at noon. As soon as I got home I was getting mixed calls about what time to come back. I was on my way back to the dental office a half hour after I got home. Because I was an emergency without an appointment I was at the will of "policy." The 2 teeth were pulled but develop a bone spur (a sharp edged bone sticking out of the gum irritating your tongue.) I never had this happened before and by the time I realized it was getting worse, I knew I had to go to the office on a Monday without an appointment. I was the 1st person at the door at 8am sharp & explained to another new receptionist the excruciating pain I'm in from having teeth extracted a couple of weeks ago. Her response was she would check if I could be seen & if so I would be charged $150. I walked over to the office mgr and spoke to her with my finger in my mouth covering the bone sticking out so I could move my tongue as I explained how much pain I was in with tears in my eyes. Informing her of almost choking on my saliva because I can't swallow because of the pain I'm in. At 9am, I was told I would be seen after the current patient is done, 9:30am, I was told to come back at 3pm. I was in so much pain I almost cried. I was speechless and left. I had to contacted corporate to get help. I was sent to the McDonough location the next day at 7:30 am, the procedure was done immediately and on my way to work by 9am. Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow Oh did I say SLOW! Nothing but older people in the waiting area who have all the time in the world..... I was early for my appointment which was for 2:45. I waited patiently for the first 40 mins the I began to get restless. I asked the front desk girl how long would it be and she just keep saying "I DON'T KNOW". Finally a young lady with enough make-up on to a clown came out and stated they are waiting on a room to become vacant, and walk away. All the while I seeing people that I know for a fact were walk-ins being waited on. So I waited in total before being called 1:15mins. To add salt to injury the tech that I got to do my X-Rays (Spanish girl with long hair past her back, lied and stated her name was "SEE") had the worst attitude. Had the nerve to tell me to leave my son in the waiting area. I looked at her like she was crazy. I advised her where I go my child goes, end of story. Long story short the ONLY two professional PEOPLE was the doctor and another young lady skinny with blonde and black hair, who was super informative and very warm and welcoming. The other members of the staff acted is if they all just got into in fight and taking out on the patients. The corporate office should really look into the Conyers Georgia location if they care anything about their busines, customer service, and reputation! My husband appointment was scheduled for 2pm when he arrived there was a note on the door stating they was on lunch until 3pm. After rescheduling him for the next da, he was seen that day and asked to come back a couple hours later because the dentist that needed to see him wasn't available at that time. Mind you he was scheduled for this time. At the 2nd appointment on the same day they ran his credit without his approval (illegal) and signed him up for care credit. Presented it to him as if they were doing him a favor. He has dental insurance. He had a severe tooth ache and was scheduled to have it pulled 2 weeks later. The pain got unbearable. When they FINALLY got him in to extract the tooth he told the Dentist he could feel the pain during the procedure. Instead of sedation they stopped in the middle of the procedure and told him he'd have to go somewhere else to be put to sleep! So they pulled at this painful tooth sent him home hurting and swollen. I'll let you hear it from them. Here is third experience with this awful location. Ron started there 8/21/14, had some teeth extracted and later they made the teeth. When you look at the printouts you can see how many times we went there. He was 83 at the time of his first visit. The teeth are absolutely too big for his mouth,(he has a small mouth) he puts Fixodent on them but still cannot bite into a sandwich without them breaking loose, he has to always eat soft food. They are really ugly. They relined them to try to make them fit better, that didn't work. They would not make a new pair that would fit his mouth correctly, just kept making little adjustments to them. He spent over $3000.00 (that included the extraction fee) and basically has no teeth. A patient is only allowed so many follow-ups then have to pay for the visit. I urge anyone looking for dentures to look elsewhere. After several attempts to correct this situation with management no returned phone calls. Please beware!! I hate it when people or businesses take advantage of the elderly. I had a cavity filled here, which went fine. It was the first cavity I've ever had, and I'm 28.... Anyway, the filling went great. No pain, took about 10 mins. I had a teeth cleaning also either a week before, or a week after the filling (I don't remember), which also went well. They told me everything looked great. 6 months later I returned for another cleaning, and they told me I had 5 cavities. How is that even possible within such a short time?? At one point one of the doctors, who was actually pretty rude, stuck her sharp cleaning tool into my mouth and said to me, "See? You feel that pain and sensitivity there?" I was like, "No, it feels totally fine." and she glared at me before walking away. I don't have health insurance at the moment. I just went thru a divorce and I'm still figuring things out. So when they sent me over to billing and gave me a quote of $1300 to do the fillings for my 5 cavities that "magically" appeared out of nowhere, I just laughed. Nice try, I'm never coming back. Please beware when dealing with these people they play fast and loose with your credit card or in my case my flexible spending card. As we all know these cards are meant for use throughout the year for your medical expenses and are strictly regulated by the federal government. In December of 2017, I was charged $420.00 for my part of a visit that I was only supposed to have been charged $124.00. I was alerted by BCBS in 2018 what Aspen had done and I had to fight tooth and nail with them to get them to even place the remaining credit back on my card. Due to the delay in their putting the funds back from 2017 I had to forfeit those funds to the federal government and take that as a loss. So I forgave that and continued with them because I was assured it was an error and would not happen again. Now in May, my card was swiped for my portion of a visit for $162.00 which again was not correct I was overcharged $92.00!!! At this point, BCBS has suspended my card and will not allow me to access my funds until those funds are put back on my card. I have reached out to Aspen via phone 3 different times only to get the runaround and promise of a callback. I actually went into the office today and spoke with the office manager who is the same person who lied and said she would call me back and she stated she can't refund my money only the corporate office can do that!!!! I asked her did corporate swipe my card and overcharge me and she said no she understands my frustration but she can only put in a ticket. I advised her I have been a patient since the office opened and my entire family of 5 are patients and are you telling me you are going to let $92.00 and my satisfaction end this relationship????? I was a new patient and had a terrible experience. This office is SLOW and has absolutely NO respect for their clients time. I was a New Patient and my appointment was at 10:15 am. I arrived at 9:50 am (10 min earlier than they suggested) to give enough time for paperwork. at 10:30 am I am still waiting. at 10:45 am they finally call me back 30 minutes AFTER my initial appointment. After the x-rays, they take my blood pressure....I have never had my blood pressure taken at a Dental Office for a Cleaning.. but OK. So after another round of X-rays (round 2!) I am instructed to wait for the hygienist. So I wait, and I wait, and I wait...I watch the Wendy Williams show (they have monitors mounted) and finally I ask just how much longer it will be. Finally the Dr comes in at almost 12pm!!! I give her my spill on how I have been in their office since 9:50am for a Teeth Cleaning and it is now almost 12pm and I still do not have my teeth cleaned. She apologizes and was unaware I waited so long. So finally the Hygienist comes in, gives a consultation and then instructs me that I will speak with the office manager. Huh? Office Manager? I haven't had my teeth cleaned yet!!! YES. After over 2 HOURS in this office, no one bothered to tell me that as a new patient they do a Consultation First Visit and then you schedule your Cleaning on another visit. The call center where I made my appointment DID NOT mention ANY of that to me when I made the appointment. When I made the appointment I called and said " I need to schedule a CLEANING" and they did not bother to tell me that the CLEANING would not take place the first visit. Oh and after this very through x ray, they came to the conclusion that I do not qualify for the "Healthy Mouth" cleaning that is included with your insurance that provides 2 free cleanings a year, oh no... I would need a $1,000 deep clean/gum treatment that would cost me $400 out of pocket. Now here is my issue. I have a regular dentist that I see every 6 months for my cleaning and have done so for YEARS. I have seen other dentist with x-rays and NEVER have I been told I do not qualify for a "healthy mouth" cleaning. I think this place is being operated to extract as much money out of each patient as possible! I mean was it really necessary to take my blood pressure? And I am sure that will be billed to my insurance. I choose Aspen Dental b/c they advertise the Invisalign and make it seem affordable. Well after this visit I will GLADLY return to my Regular FAMILY DENTAL PRACTICE where they have Separate Rooms for each patient (NO you do not have a room to yourself, you share a cubby space with another patient at Aspen Dental in Conyers), they respect their patients time by keeping their schedules ON TIME and I do not leave the office feeling like I just visited a used car dealership. I had appointment for cleaning. It took a long time for me to be seen. The woman that took my x-rays was inexperienced and tore up my mouth. She was new and had to be told how to use instruments and equipment. She then blamed me for not being able to get the right photos to the doctor saying I wasn't holding correctly --that was a lie. I then sat in the chair after my horrific experience. The same woman that did the x-rays was going to be the hygienist and also told the doctor that I needed a deep cleaning. I refused to have the cleaning and said I was going to leave. The doctor said that they couldn't let me leave until they did a deep cleaning. Basically they we're trying to hold me hostage and thought I was stupid not to realize their scam. The woman hadn't even done a full exam of my mouth to know what the condition my teeth were. I left and called the insurance company which said that I should get documentation that no services were performed. I went back. The manager at the time kept presenting a invoice that said I had a cleaning and said she had no stationery to write a letter---pure incompetency. Beware of these dentist when they say you need a deep cleaning, because most insurance doesn't pay for that so you'll have to pay out of pocket. Came in 2019 for a free check up in search of a dentist and was not impressed with the novice assistants who had no care for how rough they were being no matter how many times I told them they were hurting me. Then after my appointment I'm shuffled off to the finance section to make a cleaning appointment that runs $3k. The person I spoke to was high pressure like a sleazy used car salesman pushing me to take out a loan for the work and really skimping on details and terms. I left with an unsatisfied experience but also an appointment and a new $4,000 debt. After sitting on it for a day or so I called and cancelled. I was assured everything would be refunded and taken care of. That was till I got a $3k bill in the mail. Call again reassured it's taken care of. Still receive a $3k bill and then call again same show as before. Then I start getting collections calls for this service that I never received. Told it's taken care of only to still find our collections is still calling me a year later. Whatever you do stay clear of this predatory loan shark that's also a dentist office. I was very nervous since this was my first visit to an Aspen Dental. I had been seeing my Dentist for over 30 years, but not on insurance. My husband had been to Aspen Dental & wanted to go there, so I made my appt. also. From my very first conversation on the phone, the office staff was so nice & professional, I already felt better. When we walked in the door, they greeted us immediately. The wait was very short & the young lady took me back for x-rays was so polite & accommodating to me & kept asking me if I was ok the entire time because I was on crutches. Then, I met the hygienist, Norma Woodard who was absolutely the BEST ever! I was very nervous bc I had never had the deep cleaning b4 & I told her that I had anxiety attacks & please set me up if I raised my hand. She repeated my request 2 separate times which put me at ease. She was done in a flash, explained my home care, gave me samples & walked me up front. Dr. Raj was also very nice & explained my treatment options to me so that I could make an informed decision. She stopped by to check on me the day when I went in for the deep cleaning. I was so pleasantly surprised. Dentists are always expensive, insurance or not. We have insurance and its decent, but what I saw was a significant price reduction for the work needed from my shop around. They were about $350 cheaper than anywhere we went. Then there was the staff. Courteous, expeditious, and informative. When it boiled down to was a darn good price, a 15 min wait and Im switching my whole family to Aspen Dental. Go to any of their offices! They are worth the switch. read more

I would give this place a 0 if possible. I went for a simple cleaning since I couldn't go to my regular dentist. First I had a long wait. My appointment was at 1:15 pm but didn't go back until almost 2:00 pm. They took x-Rays and the woman that did it seemed inexperienced and tore my mouth up. She did about 50 and kept asking someone else if they were okay. She did not pad the equipment so it was cutting my gums and each X-ray of my mouth was painful. Then another woman came and re-did the X-rays I had painfully been through. After this horrible experience I was seated in another corner area in which I thought I would see the dentist for my cleaning. No...it was the same woman that tore up my mouth in which she introduced herself as my hygienist. Without the dentist even coming over or looking in my mouth I was told by this woman that I had a lot of bone loss and would need an intensive cleaning. I refused, in which I was told they could not clean my teeth unless it was an intensive one. After I refused they said I could take my X-rays with me at no cost. This was a lie. I found out they were going to bill my insurance company if I had not requested a walk out statement by the manager. Please read reviews of Aspen Dental which are horrible nationwide including over billing, telling you that you need an intensive cleaning when you don't and high turn over. I noticed that they are looking for a new manager and staff every week! read more
