    Veggie omelet

My sister brought me here on a Sunday for a late breakfast. We were able to grab a last table. The staff was amazing. Cute little place. She got a Greek omelet and I got a veggie omelet. We were both very happy with out selection. I Iook forward to returning and trying other items.

Before we went, i read through the reviews like always, and summarized to "food is great , but service is not up to par". We had time on hand today and decided to give it a try. & ... yes they were busy. The Place is not big. Very cozy. 2 servers, yup now you see why the the wait can be long. However, everything we ordered came out great and tasty!!! Hence the 5 star. Portions were generous, they did up the price a bit based on previous reviews, which is understandable, all $$$ is going up. Despite the busy crowd they have to take care of, all out orders came out right and they kept us in loop, we truly appreciate the effort. Will return and recommend!

Love this place! Best breakfast I've had in a long time and I try to come here as much as I can. The prices are decent and the service is great. It's pretty simply just a great place to get breakfast and everything tastes great so what else is there to say but come on down to Olde town. Try it out I'm sure you won't be disappointed

Really good breakfast, small and slow but worth it. Chicken and waffles were great perfect amount of spice.

The servers work hard and are always attentive. Sometimes there is a bit of confusion when the person who delivers the food was not the same one that took the order -- the food sometimes being taken to the wrong table. The grill master is the one major variable when I order burgers. For one thing, I usually do not get the advertised full discount for the Wednesday night special. Things like cheese and add-ons can run up the burger a bit, but there always seems to be an automatic charge for cheese (either $1 or $2 up-charge) which I do not order. That is why I say I usually don't get the full advertised discount. Aside from that, there is wide variation in how the meat is cooked. "Medium" one night can be "Medium rare" or "Well-done" depending on the person on the grill. You best not order it "Well-done" unless you want to risk it being dry and crispy. The tacos are always excellent. Grilled or fried, either way is a diner's delight. The sauce has a nice burn without being too spicy. The two-taco meal may be enough for most diners with the three-taco portion being quite enough to satisfy. As far as putting Memories Charcoal House on my dining list, I will continue to patronize the establishment for its friendly atmosphere, cordial staff and wide variety of menu items.

So we come to this place about once every two months…read more We like sitting on the patio from spring to fall. The service is usually good ...but the serve drinks in small plastic cups. I drink unsweetened tea most of the time so I'm constantly waiting for a refill. The good ... the food is generally tasty. The Bad ... they are charging $32.00 for a 16oz ribeye. I know they use Mt Airy Meat locker for their beef. The steak was seasoned well but had a tiny sliver of a bone for what they called a bone in. Also .... The nickel and dining is ridiculous. You get one side. And they upcharge for mushrooms or onions. In comparison... Longhorn service a 20oz Ribeye with 2 sides and bread for $32.79 So I got the Ribeye and about 6 stalks of very tiny asparagus. I actually like the small asparagus but not 6 stalks??? As far as the steaks go ... don't give me the local meat BS or the cost for a small business. Side cost little ... salad and potatoes are cheap. We don't go to this place regularly because of this ... so we end up with a $72.00 bill (wife got a Cesar salad with shrimp) and seltzer water with a lime. Result ... have to make something to eat after we get home. After dropping nearly $90 after tip. My wife and I prefer to patronize local places but these owners are making it hard. I was going to order the chicken wings and a side salad .... But ...$24 for 12 half wings is beyond ridiculous. The wing shortage is over but many places are hanging on to the price increase ... I'd imagine because they think the customers are stupid. Out of curiosity... I shopped a pack of fresh wings at BJs wholesale club to see what wings are going for. The price for an 18 pack is around $8.00. And that would make 36 buffalo wings since you only get half. Disappointed... food that we did get was good ... but value is somewhere close to a zero!

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. We were surprised when another 4:15pm patron was led to their reserved table, but we learned that their planning and caution was well-founded. We discovered the popularity of Bolder to be well-deserved. Seeking lite fare for an early dinner, calorie conscious, we both navigated the tempation-filled menu with success. We thoroughly enjoyed the bison burger and turkey club, the latter being sufficiently sample for a split lunch the next day too. Service was rock-solid and very efficient. We definitely hope to be back soon. And we will make a reservation. Dress code is casual.

Despite being seated at a table for 4 at the busy entrance door, it was still nice. The service was great and the food was amazing! We started with a clam appetizer in a garlicky tomato-basil wine sauce served with fresh lemon and flatbread. It was very flavorful. I had the Strawberry Balsamic Salmon with spinach risotto and asparagus. This was the best meal I've had in a long time! The balsamic vinegar complemented the strawberry fresca salsa with red onions and the risotto was luxuriously creamy and mouth-watering. The asparagus complemented it all nicely. It's a good thing the portion was huge as I was able to indulge again for lunch the next day! My husband had the The Talk of the Town - Crabby Fried Green Tomatoes. The portion wasn't as big so he was easily able to finish itl. The fried green tomato slices were breaded and fried to a crisp and topped with pure colossal crab meat that was broiled a bit on top and it was all covered with a tasty red pepper coulis. We now can add Bolder to our list of favorite restaurants!

I look forward to revisiting and trying their lunch and dinner options too as they looked equally as good. The long and short, the food is fantastic. It's good quality and great flavour. What we got: Legendary French Toast - 5* fluffy, delicious, and super filling. Country Fried Steak - 3.5* the gravy was amazing (can't wait to try their biscuits and gravy), the potatoes were fried perfectly and improved with self applied salt and pepper, the biscuits were delicious (though jam options could be improved), and the eggs were cooked the way we asked. For dinner I had the shrimp tacos, the shrimp was blackened and it was served with a slice of avocado and sriracha mayonnaise. It had a good flavor and the right amount of spice. My husband had the Chesapeake omelette which was served with spinach, lump crab meat, mozzarella and a Chesapeake sauce. He said his dish was delicious. We ordered hibachi and sushi rolls. Our meals came with soup, salad, fried rice, noodles, sautéed vegetables, and dessert (delicious vanilla ice cream). All the hot foods were cooked on the grill right in front of us, with the theatrics you'd expect from a Japanese Hibachi restaurant. Our chef was quite skilled with both the tricks and the cooking. All of the food was delicious, especially the filet mignon steak hibachi and the sushi rolls (a "Fire Crunch" roll with spicy tuna, cucumber, salmon, and spicy crab, and a spicy salmon roll). The wait staff checked on us frequently and someone even came running out of the restaurant after us to thank us for coming. Our part of the bill was around $50 (for one hibachi and two sushi rolls) AND we had leftovers. I expect we will be returning.
