    Raspberry oatmeal

Love the vibe of this place. Cozy seating for two or ample seating for 6-8. Very sweet decor, feels welcoming. There are a few steps to get in the door, I'm not sure if there is a handicap entrance. I had the raspberry oatmeal, thinking it would just have rasberries in it. I should have read the menu better, it actually had some sort of fruit syrup mixed in it, made it a less healthy choice than I wanted. Still, very yummy and I practically licked the bowl clean. The person at the counter could not be more hospitable, kind and helpful. I didn't catch his name, I would love to give him a shoutout. My friend had toast with a cheese and tomatoes and said it was very good and filling. Great little coffee/breakfast spot. Beautiful large windows looking out onto Main Street, a nice view.

It was our first time here and certainly won't be our last. Breakfast was delicious, super friendly staff, and loved the decor and overall ambiance.

Close to frederick about a 12-13 minute drive in the middle of their new market shopping strip. Very pleasant cashiers/hostesses, a variety of items to choose off the menu. They even have mimosas available for those interested! Would definitely be back to explore the menu a bit more. Very cute atmosphere!

Order at the bar, get a really good sandwich. Ruben was nice crabcake was good. Lots of drinks to choose from. Very good stop for lunch.

Love this place! They have a great selection that is continuously updated! The Baltimore Peppermint Stick Lemonade brought me back to my childhood, and the wasabi vinaigrette on the Smoked Salmon Bagel is an incredible addition to the classic sandwich! We will definitely continue to visit!

Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

I look forward to revisiting and trying their lunch and dinner options too as they looked equally as good. The long and short, the food is fantastic. It's good quality and great flavour. Where some improvements could be made is the condiments or sides, eg: better orange juice instead of what tasted like a concentrate and real maple syrup instead of fake. What we got: Legendary French Toast - 5* fluffy, delicious, and super filling. Country Fried Steak - 3.5* the gravy was amazing (can't wait to try their biscuits and gravy), the potatoes were fried perfectly and improved with self applied salt and pepper, the biscuits were delicious (though jam options could be improved), and the eggs were cooked the way we asked. The steak was good initially but got old fast, it was salty and a tad overcooked and we were glad we were splitting both meals because eating the whole serving would've been hard.

It was a lovely evening the night we went, so we ate outside. I started off with a Raspberry mule. I believe our server may have forgotten about it because I didn't get it until right before our meal arrived. But it was really good and a great bargain for $7. For dinner I had the shrimp tacos, the shrimp was blackened and it was served with a slice of avocado and sriracha mayonnaise. It had a good flavor and the right amount of spice. My husband had the Chesapeake omelette which was served with spinach, lump crab meat, mozzarella and a Chesapeake sauce. He said his dish was delicious. Unfortunately, when I received my food and took a bite, a hot, completely runny egg came oozing out of the sandwich and all over me, completely ruining my shirt and pants. I was understandably upset. What made the situation even worse was that multiple waitresses watched it happen and continued working without offering me a napkin, towel, or anything to help clean myself up. I was literally standing there with egg yolk running down my shirt and pants because my order was prepared incorrectly. Eventually, my husband and I had to flag someone down--we weren't even sure if he was a server or the manager. He came over and said he would comp the meal. I explained that we were there for a soccer tournament and that I would now have to go out and purchase an entirely new outfit for the rest of the day because of their mistake. We then sat there for 20 minutes, watching employees walk past us repeatedly without checking on us. I finally went to the register and expressed how upset I was. The gentleman there said he would charge us for my husband's and son's meals and comp mine. Of course, my meal was being comped--it was sent back because it was prepared incorrectly in the first place. We then waited another 20 minutes without a bill. Again, employees continued walking past us and completely ignored us. This restaurant is tiny--practically the size of a closet--so I honestly don't understand how we could be overlooked for that long. At that point, I told my husband, "Let's just get up and leave. I guarantee THAT will get someone's attention." Sure enough, the second we walked out the door, the big guy came running after us, yelling at my husband and me. I explained how long we had been sitting there, how rude and dismissive the service was, and how much of our time had been wasted. Apparently, walking out the door was the only way to finally get someone's attention. Mistakes happen. Eggs can be cooked incorrectly. What matters is how you treat your customers when something goes wrong. In this case, the customer service was absolutely unacceptable from start to finish. We are in town for a soccer tournament and had better things to do than spend nearly an hour sitting around being ignored after having our clothing ruined by an improperly prepared meal. Spare yourself the trip. The customer service here was HORRIBLE. BTW my outfit cost more than a comped meal!!!! And a hour of wasted time waiting for our bill!!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE ZERO STARS if that were an option.

The hostess was friendly and kind, although clearer direction on where to wait would have helped. The front entrance was congested, and we felt like we were in everyone's way. Unfortunately, the service never matched the occasion. Our server never introduced themselves or acknowledged either celebration. They began taking orders without any engagement, and throughout the meal we were repeatedly unable to get their attention. I understand Sunday brunch is busy, but I work in a concierge-driven environment and was genuinely disappointed by the lack of hospitality. The food was mixed. The chicken and waffles and the omelet were good. My husband's steak was cold and the portion was very small. He ordered French fries but received unseasoned potatoes that lacked any flavor. My fish and chips were fine but also lacked seasoning, lemon, or any attention to detail. I specifically requested fries without Old Bay but received fries heavily coated in it. We also ordered a steak and eggs meal to go, which took about 30 minutes. When it was opened later, it contained only three small slices of steak. My brother-in-law genuinely thought he had been given someone's leftovers because the portion was so disappointing. My husband quietly paid the $300 bill while I still hoped someone might acknowledge the birthday or retirement with a simple mention, smile, or thank you. It never happened. We were never even offered a desert menu. We left without a goodbye or any acknowledgment from the staff. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how we felt. We had many options in Frederick but chose Showroom because we expected a special experience. I could tell my family didn't want to complain because I had spoken so highly of the restaurant, but they were equally underwhelmed. Please do better.
