One of the few times I left a place feeling more satisfied than expected. I've always liked Amaury…read moreGutierrez, not a huge fan, but I enjoy his music. I saw him about 10 years ago, and last Friday we went to Desafinado, sitting at table #17. The view wasn't great at first because the party in front of us were tall fellas, but a small miracle happened: a couple in the front row traded tables with us, not wanting to be so close! So, the first "obstacle" was solved. The concert took a while to start; we arrived around 10:30 pm, and by midnight, there was still no sign of Amaury. But once it began, it was magical. His music sounded amazing, and the sound quality at Desafinado was impressive. Plus, there were some great surprise guests, like the amazing Luis Enrique and five others (I can't remember all their names, but they were all fantastic). The only downside was that no one ever came by to take our order. Since we'd just come from Fleming's Steakhouse and were super full, it wasn't a huge issue, not enough to cost them a star. The next day, we spent the whole day playing Amaury Gutierrez's music at home! Desafinado is a great place to experience a close, personal, and intimate concert with Latin romantic artists. Good atmosphere, great sound, easy parking, but questionable service.

Lo recomiendo altamente! This place is amazing. The musicians are outstanding, the wines are very rich, and the atmosphere is super cozy. It is one of our favorite places to listen to very good live music. I highly recommend it!

So so amazing would definitely come again.

The menu contains all types of tapas so we ordered the Galician Octopus and their cod croquettes to start. The octopus was very tender and tasty, while the star of the meal were the croquettes very creamy interior without the strong fish flavor. For the main entree we ordered their black ink paella which included chucks of seafood. The rice unfortunately was very bland to the point we had to add some salt on our own. For dessert we ordered the torta de Santiago which is a sweet almond pie. Very disappointing very hard and it was not as sweet as we would like. The waiters were really nice and always attentive but the food just didn't meet our expectations.

Upon arriving it sets the mood entirely with great fun appropriate decor and a prompt happy welcome. Staff Makes us feel they are glad we came-What a cool place! We settle on the brisket, baby back ribs, potato salad and beans with brisket. Can I tell you EvErYtHiNg was spot on!! And we plan accordingly to try their famous 12 hour smoked Flan dessert!! 1. Smoked Brisket- moist, perfect flavor, hearty portion, tender and high quality meat. Comes with great sauce, which I didn't use since it was so perfect as is. 2. Smoked Baby Back Ribs- Another hit with healthy portion, great flavor, and super meaty. Honestly, just hard to stop eating it! 3. Baked Beans with Brisket- A true meal unto itself! I could've stopped here! Tons of brisket ground into the beans, almost like the best "chili" ever. Flavor is sophisticated smokiness, not the usual sugary sweet restaurant rendition. Yay! 4. Potato salad is FIRE! Fresh perfectly cooked tender white potatoes, cooked carrots & peas add just enough interest and a magical a touch of mayo. Yes please. 5. 12 hour smoked Flan-STAR * of the show, the flan of my dreams! Staff insisted this flan is all that and they are correct! It's LEGIT. We left with a doggie bag, so worth it. Price was for real, you pay for quality. $74, but we brought plenty home. You could get by with a meal for two around $50-60, if you need. Check out their Later week Happy hour sand weekly specials as well as brunch & breakfast. It's all good here! Thanks for following me-happy spring 2026! ~Tami in Miami

We were greeted by the very personable Brayddy, who helped us pick out our dinner items. We were tired after being at a local pumpkin patch all day in the heat and just wanted to get home and not cook. So we did a take-out this time. It was very well packed and arrived in great shape. Brayddy outdid herself. Both ladies were very nice and helpful. We ordered and shared the very tender and well seasoned Brisket, which practically melted in my mouth. It was really good! We also got the half rack Baby Rib back...wow, it just fell off the bone and was so delicious!! Very good! The cornbread was amazing, especially with the sauce we were given to pour over it. I have no words. As a side dish for the meat, we got the Truffle Mac n Cheese, which was outstanding. Everything was great!! Last but not least, we unfortunately were disappointed in the Smoked Flan. It had no flavor, how could that be when the other items were so delicious? We each took a bite but couldn't continue, We have had flan before but this had a strange taste, I'm sorry to say. Things happen. We will still be back to enjoy the ambiance, great service, good music, and very nice staff. Kudos to the chef! Parking is in front of the restaurant and has wheelchair accessability. They also share space with Empanada Harry's Bakery. I want some good guava pastries next time!

The seafood dishes only had around 2 shrimps, tough calamari that was inedible, the couple of clams it had were emptied, etc. There is just no quality in their dishes. Apart from the small size of everything! The mashed potatoes tasted like the dehydrated version and they served a size small enough for my 3 year old! The only dish that was large was the Branzino because you get 2 filets but then again the dish costs $47 for that a very small side dish. The cheesecake and the churros are pretty good however don't order their Crema Catalana - it's way too sweet. On top of this, the service is not all there. There is a lack of Waiters and the ones there are running around going nuts. I would skip this restaurant and try other Spanish restaurants in Miami. One that comes to mind is El Pimiento in Miami Lakes and Casa Juancho in 8th Street - both of their paellas are amazing and they actually come with lots of seafood!
