This place is always amazing! The ambiance is perfect for a date night, or a friends' night out. Our sever, Jesus, was extremely friendly and very welcoming. We ordered the calamares andaluza for appetizer and for our entree the paella ibérica. Ended with a chocolate cheesecake. Delicious is an understatement! Can not wait to go back!

This place was honestly really disappointing. I came here for Miami spice, made a reservation and still waited 15-20 min to be seated, the place is pretty small and it's so loud everyone is just trying to talk over each other, they also have live music which is nice at first but you can barely talk. The service was not great, our waitress was not attentive at all, sides came out way after we had our main dishes and we felt a rushed to order. Drinks were good , I tried the wine cocktail which was delicious. For starters I had the beef carpaccio which comes with so much salad on top, it was okay, and the meatballs were ok. For main I ordered the pork belly which was good and comes with large portion, and the ribeye was very good. As a side I got the tostones and maduros which both were mediocre tasted like they were frozen. Dessert was great the cheesecake was phenomenal and the churros were good. Overall I will not be returning.

First time going here. It's around the corner from our house and it had good reviews so we decided to try it. The restaurant is not very large, so if it's busy, like it was tonight, it gets really noisy. My fiancé and I were having trouble while trying to have a conversation over dinner. There was a large party with small children and only two waiters so it wasn't the best service. They are offering two different dinner menu options for Miami Spice; $50 or $65. We had one of each. You get one appetizer, one entree, one dessert and a glass of Cava. Our waiter was so busy that our Cava never made it to our table, even though we reminded him. The portions were very generous, and the food was really tasty and fresh but as someone who's tried many Spanish restaurants and has been to many parts of Spain the food didn't feel authentic Spanish. Their side dishes were Yuca Frita, Maduros, tostones. More like a Latin flavor but not authentic to Spain. Nevertheless the food was delicious and the portions for the Miami Spice menu were great. Another thing that didn't feel right was that they included the tip. I understand they do this for parties of five and up, but it was just two of us. Our waiter hardly came to check on us, it took him forever to bring the check and even longer for us to be able to pay our bill. Between the noise level, and not so great service I was ready to leave. I'm not sure I'll be returning. Very cute decor, nice concept but they need to make adjustments. If you know you have a large party coming in, make sure you have enough staff.

Ambient is very elegant, music is perfect you can talk easily, we started with the cheese croquetas they were amazing just perfection, we also order the pulpo, also incredible perfect texture, taste was balanced, my drink was a red sangría good but not out of the ordinary, then we shared the skirt steak medium, great flavor, good portion, comes with potatoes and asparagus, our server Paola was very attentive, we also ordered the cheesecake Basque and was creamy and tasty, will come back for more.

We went for a late lunch and the restaurant was empty but we decided to go anyway. The place was very clean and very nicely decorated! The lady who attended us was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We order 2 cheeseburgers that were delicious! The French fries were so crispy and skinny and tasty! Our drinks were lemonades, I had the strawberry and my hubby had the regular lemonade. They were okay nothing great. She invited us back to come on the weekends when the have a Flamenco dancer. Loved the music playing in the background too! We will be coming back!

10/10 no notes! Randomly found this spot on Yelp and now it's my new hyperfixation. Loved everything - from the food, to the service, to the ambiance. Everything felt so warm and comforting. They have 2 for 1 drink specials and some select bites during HH. Easy parking in the front. What more can you ask for! I can't single out one favorite dish; they all were really good. But the octopus salad and the croqueta have to be mentioned! The amount of octopus slices were generous and the croqueta was bursting with creaminess from the goat cheese. I'm thinking of the next visit already as I'm typing this...

My mom had been wanted to try this restaurant for some time so we decided to go for dinner on a Wednesday night. The restaurant is not as big as I imagined considering they have live music some nights. It's very cozy and comfortable. The service was excellent! The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. They have a great menu with good prices. Right now they're offering 2 Miami Spice dinner menus which are great! I chose the $45 and got calamari, Branzino and crema catalana. The fish was very good, well cooked with crispy skin and in a delicious sauce. I did not like the breading on the calamari and it tasted like overcooked oil. The dessert was also disappointing. My mom loved her seafood paella and we also had some Tempranillo wine that was very good!

Was in the Doral area and we were looking for a Spanish food restaurant I remembered La Tremenda! I had dined there previously with some fellow Yelp elites and we loved it. Took advantage of their Miami spice menu that included a beer or glass of Prosecco! The octopus salad appetizer was stellar and flavorful and so was the paella main course. The tortilla esoańola was a bit on the runny side which we later found out we could order wet or dry traditional. I tend to like it better dry but good to know there are options. And the branzino fish was really good too. But the dish came alone no sides. You could order a side of something if you wanted for like a $4 add on not bad. For dessert they were out of my fave there which is the basque cheesecake. Bummer. But the crema catalana and tiramisu jar were great. Be sure to check out there performance nights Fridays and Saturdays. Love taking pics in their fun bathroom hall lights area. Good times!

It's a very nice restaurant inside. It has a cozy atmosphere and actually it was bigger than what I was expecting. We went on a Friday night expecting to have some kind of show. But was let down when they say there wasn't any show that day. The food was really good. We started with some calamari and they were fresh and tasty. My son ordered a hamburger and was surprised how good it was. My husband ordered a fabada and he loved it. My meat with risotto was on point. To finish the night we had the cheesecake and it was good, but could have been more smooth. Overall it was a good experience and it would have been nice to have the entertainment that was advertised for Friday. Maybe it's better to call before going to make sure they have the entertainment.

Came here for the Miami Spice menu. Ordered the lamb risotto which was decent. My husband had the picanha which is always a bit tough. Service was good. But also it was a Tuesday night and there was only 1 other table besides us. I came for the Miami spice signature chef experience but we weren't offered the chefs story time or the cooking experience. Overall we would rate this spot at solid 6/10

This quaint eatery is definitely a must! Great decor with high ceilings and a DJ was playing cool music. We ordered the gazpacho, octopus and beef carpaccio as appetizers. They were all delicious although the carpaccio was a bit salty. For the entrees we ordered the paella (of course!), the lobster rice and the beef tenderloin. Again, everything was tasty, however, the paella was a bit dry for me. We ended with the Basque cheesecake for dessert (delectable) and coffee. The service was very good (although our server didn't speak English!).

Everything about our experience at La Tremenda in Doral was absolutely amazing, starting with the pleasant surprise of discovering a fine dining experience so close to home at a great value. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Jeniree welcomed us warmly and quickly seated us, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. We were delighted to learn that their weekday happy hour runs from 4-8 pm, featuring two-for-one drinks along with a selection of delicious appetizers. We enjoyed four appetizers: calamari, fried pork belly, Cantabrian anchovies, and Pan Tumaca -- each beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Arroz Negro and the Asopao de Mariscos. The presentation was lovely, and both dishes were incredibly satisfying and delightful to our taste buds. The ambiance was magnificent, with soft lighting that created an elegant atmosphere, complemented by a pleasant lounge music playlist that allowed us to enjoy the music while still easily conversing. We truly enjoyed every moment of our dining experience and can't wait to return.

Ordered 6 happy hour Tapas dishes and several regular Tapas. Everything was great. WOW can't wait to return. The chicharones were incredible. Beef carpaccio was awesome. All great!

My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.
