[[HIGHLIGHT]]Solid tapas spot in Miami for a casual brunch and drinks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommend their huevos bulla, slices of Serrano ham and eggs with potato foam and truffle oil onto of potato chips, eclectic but delicious, different from all the other tapas I've had before in the US We also loved the bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates, sweet and salty combo really hit the spot for us

im convinced these 14,000 reviews are purchased because the 2 times i have attempted to come here have been disappointing, at best. the last time i came (06.2026) the other person in my party and i got sick from the overuse of cream and sauces they put on their dishes. the salmon was cooked well, but i could not taste it because it was drenched in this terrible white sauce, which im pretty sure is the same one used in the patatas bravas. the service is pleasant, but a little slow, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is fine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] i would not return, though, because the food did not sit well in our stomachs.

I really like this place! I found it for the first time in Miami! My friend and I took the tapas really seriously . We definitely stuffed ourselves! Then I found the one in Atlanta and loved it too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]In Fl, we sat outside and it was really nice, Inside felt like a really sexy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Things went well and the food timing was great.

Nice spot for Spanish food. We came during their happy hour (ends at 7pm) on a day when they have money off their paellas so we basically got one for each of us which was pretty crazy. Definitely think that it is a two or three person dish. Sangria was good, but not very strong and we had a few pitchers floating around. Caesar our waiter did a wonderful job, taking care of us, even though we had a large group of nine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have rooms upstairs where large groups (or small groups) can sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was very good: both tapas and the paellas. Service by Caesar was outstanding!

We were a group of 8 on a Friday night celebrating a bachelorette. Half of the table ordered the miami spice menu and the other half ordered plates to share. It was very busy, lots of people dining in and our waiter was very nice. He was very communicative of what they did and did not have in the menu and was attentive to what we needed. The music was not what I expected for the vibe they were going for but it was ok. The red ans white sangria were great. If you're dining in for the miami spice menu Í would recommend to dine in early as a lot of the plates will run out by the end of the night. The tuna tartar, tiradito medditeranio, and the croquets were amazing. I really liked the fish, it was fresh and very vibrant flavors. The croquets went really well with the sweet sauce. The bistec a la patilla and bistro with blue cheese is ehat my friends ordered and I tried it and the meet and sauce were really good, but the food got there pretty cold or more like room temp. I ordered the Arroz Caldoso and was told it would take 25 min which I was fine waiting for. It did come out super super hot and I really enjoyed it. The seafood inside was really fresh. Everything was fine up until dessert, we waited like 45 for cold churros and a weird tasting flan de coco.

One year later and Bulla Gastrobar - Coral Gables is still one of our top spots to go to! Especially during Miami Spice which is from August 1st to September 30th. Delicious food like their tapas and entires and their drinks are always a go too. Prices are always great here and desserts are always a must. Service is lovely every time never encountered an issue. Parking is easy to find just take note that it's street parking. The ambiance feels refreshing with a modern twist. Highly recommend as always! ^.^

Service was attentive and warm throughout, though there was a fairly long wait between the second course and dessert. To start, the tuna tartare was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My friend's calamari with risotto was excellent as well. The salmon, unfortunately, fell a bit flat and lacked seasoning. The fries, on the other hand, were a highlight crisp, super fresh, and thoroughly delicious. For dessert, I ordered the panna cotta, which in texture and presentation was closer to a mousse than a traditional panna cotta, but honestly, it didn't matter. Whether you call it a panna cotta or a mousse, the flavor was incredible and the texture was lovely, finished with a bright, tangy mango topping that tied it all together. One tip! the restaurant runs quite cold, so dress warmly if you're planning to visit. Overall, a lovely spot.

First things first: if you want their Spanish tortilla with chorizo, you have to order it ahead of time. Same-day they usually only have the regular tortilla available, so plan ahead -- and trust me, it's worth it. Thick, soft, perfectly layered potatoes and egg with that extra smoky chorizo flavor that takes it to another level. A true comfort dish done right. Their tortilla is one of their staples for a reason. We also ordered a variety of croquetas: jamón serrano, queso manchego, camarones, and bacalao. Honestly, all of them were good (and I mean all), but the bacalao croquetas? Wow. Next level. Super creamy inside, crispy outside, packed with flavor -- easily my favorite of the table. And because it was Mother's Day, dessert was mandatory. Everyone ordered something different: flan with almond ice cream, crema catalana, Basque-style cheesecake, and I went for the Tarta San Marcos. I'm not Spanish, so it was my first time trying it, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's made with layers of sponge cake, cream, chocolate truffle -- but somehow it doesn't feel too heavy. It paired perfectly with a cafecito and was the ideal ending to the meal. The place is small, cozy, and very authentic. I hadn't been in a while, and you can tell they've organized the space better -- the wine boxes and market area feel cleaner and more intentional, and there's a little more room to breathe. Service was super nice and welcoming. Overall, La Vasca is one of those hidden gems where the food feels as authentic as it gets. A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.
