I made the reservation with the help of Molly who works at the Axe House. She took care of the reservation for me over the phone and I was even able to apply a Yelp coupon to the reservation to save some money which was nice. When we arrived, Molly welcomed us and got us all checked in. I did not realize this was a BYOB place, so she was kind enough to let us know about the liquor store right in the same shopping plaza so my friends went to pick out some drinks for the day. Molly gave all of us the rules and went over the proper ways to hold and throw each of the "weapons" we used. She brought us over to the area that we could be throwing and showed up how to throw and talked through some tips and provided lots of feedback and advice throughout our 2 hour visit. We were getting the hang of it as best we could and had a great time. After throwing the axes for a little while, she brought over some of the ninja stars and other smaller items to throw which we all enjoyed throwing a lot. It was also a small form of therapy for us! We also got to throw a spear towards the end which was way harder than it looks. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed learning all the proper ways to hold and throw axes. We played some of the games to earn points and just had a great time hanging out. And we were really thankful for Molly and all of her advice and feedback. She helped us feel comfortable with the process and made us feel welcomed throughout our time. We area already talking about going back soon!
