Yummy, yum, yum!! I was searching for casual restaurants in the area after getting off of a sunset cruise and this delicious place came up with very high reviews on Yelp. The family owned restaurant is clean, cute, and so fantastic! I had a lot of questions and the woman working there helped me with everything. I ended up ordering the rack of lamb with tzatziki platter. It came with rice but I chose hummus for an up charge. The hummus was perfect and had whole chickpeas added on top. The tomato and mozzarella salad had the absolute most delicious EVOO I ever had. The highlight was the rack of lamb (lamb chops). They were seasoned and cooked perfectly. This tasted like a fine dining meal for only $25.00. Most of the meals are far cheaper. The pita bread came warm and it was also wonderful. I would eat here a lot if I lived in the area. read more

Mediterranean food is one of my greatest loves. When this place popped up on Yelp, my wonderful husband was willing to drive 30 minutes with me to eat at a little place in a strip mall. But ohhhh, it was worth it! The guys working behind the counter are super friendly and helpful. They were sold out of kefta so I got the lamb souvlaki platter. It was a large portion and tasted incredible: seasoned chunks of lamb that melt in your mouth, grilled onions and tomatoes with rice and salad. The salad has super crunchy croutons that I could've eaten like potato chips. My husband ordered the lamb gyro and said it was the best he's ever had. The french fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy & hot. We shared a sampler platter of 4 appetizers ($9.95). We chose the grape leaves, calamari, hummus & baba ghanouj. Everything was fantastic and served with a generous basket of toasted pita bread. We ended our meal with a Turkish coffee and a dessert called Ashta. It's described as a fragrant milk pudding in rose water and orange blossom with fresh strawberries. I didn't like the flavor of the dessert - I felt like I was eating perfume. Delicious food and a clean, comfortable restaurant. The lunch specials are a good deal and I noticed that they also have a drive through window. I tried the Village Fries which are like a Mediterranean version of carne asada fries. The lamb gyro meat was great but would have worked better if it was cut into shorter strips. Employee who was behind the food line knew very little about the menu when we asked questions. When we inquired about wine pricing we were told a glass was the same price as a bottle?? Upon picking up our food when we were called we asked for the spicy red sauce and we were told they had been out for a couple days. We happened to be in the area and did a phone in order that we picked up in the drive thru. We had delectable gyros that were big enough to share. The star was the side salad which was baby mozerrella balls and fresh tomatoes. It was killer and craveable. The next star was the iced tea. What, really?! My husband and I were running errands on a Monday on this side of town. I originally came to this area because of the cupcakes, but they were closed. As I was standing outside disappointed, I slowly started to get very hungry. I didn't wanna drive anywhere else, so my option was this Mediterranean place or pizza.. I honestly was feeling pizza, but I really wanted to try this place for some reason. So I came here! I ordered a lamb gyro combo (with fries and soda) and a baklava. They were pretty quick! Maybe only waited no more than 5mins. Plenty of seating and this place was very clean. When I took my first bite. I was AMAZED. This lamb gyro was the best thing in a long time!! Even my husband took a bite and was amazed too!! It didn't feel heavy at all and it was flavorful! I want it again so bad. Haha. I liked the seasoning on their fries!! There baklava was alright. For what it is - this place has it going on! Had an array of items including the Dolmas, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Platter, and Baklava. All of the food was wonderful and the service was quick and easy. We left wanting more of the warm Baklava. Normally great customer service. Ordered take out lunch, 2 lunch combos. Front of house forced my wife to pay $29.00 for two gyros. Outrageous! Would not correct the order and sent us packing. Didn't get what I ordered and paid a ridiculous price for the luxury. Extremely disappointed! Nice place with a real Mediterranean feel . The shawarma is great and the chicken tawook is straight up awesome . The village fries are a cool take on an old favorite. You've also got to try the Turkish coffee . It's delicious and will really put a pep in the your step . As far as the kids menu goes , my daughter likes the chicken tenders . Second night this week we've dined at Olea - on the first night we sat in the restaurant - which is rather non-descript, then we opted for an evening of take-out, taking advantage of their drive-in pickup service. The Sampler Appetizer is a great way to dive into their offerings - choose four apps to taste from falafel, stuffed grape leaves, kibbah (seasoned meat/onions), tzatziki with pillow-soft pitas, flavorful baba ghanouj and others. We ordered the sampler both times, but the dolmathes (grape leaves), falafel and fried cauliflower were real standouts - they were sold out of the calamari both nights - maybe we'll get lucky next time. The Chicken Shawarma wrap was perfectly seasoned and comes with their killer tzatziki sauce, diced cucumbers & tomatoes and slivers of red onions. The Lamb Gyro wrap is a classic as well, with tender meat piled high on their perfect pitas. The combo plates come with either salad or fries - the salad is pretty simple with only a sprinkling of paprika seasoning, no dressing we could taste. For a special treat, try the Lamb Chops - my wife's were cooked perfectly to medium rare - great char-grilled flavor and a generous portion as well. read more

I thought I wanted to have some type of middle eastern kebab, so I began my search thinking I wouldn't find anything near. This place showed up on my Yelp search, and it wasn't a far drive (25 min) from the beach house we were staying. Holy cow. This place is it. We got the mixed kebab, baba ghanouj, tabouleh, and tawook wrap, and the baklava. The kebabs were great, the wrap was spicy and delicious and the baklava was the best I've had in years, not kidding. They only lose a few points for the rice not being a long grain basmati. I'd sub that out for something else next time. I would eat here a few times a week if I lived here. Perfect!
