I booked a massage. When I looked online it said the price was $165, yet once they tack on a bunch of hidden fees, the final cost is $228. The massage is scheduled for 50 minutes, and they were late to the appointment, thereby shorting me of massage time. When it was past the start time of 1:00, I eventually sought out the receptionist, and she was pretty blasé and told me to just wait and someone would come find me eventually. The massage itself was OK, nothing special, and the shorting me of massage time is disappointing. I wish the hours of the spa would have been longer; they opened later in the morning and closed earlier in the evening than I would have liked. Oleksandra Spa and Salon is located inside Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Just take the rooms elevator just off the casino floor and just look for the big button for the Spa! I hadn't heard much about Oleksandra and what little I did hear was very much a mixed bag. So here is my take: (+) This is a bit different from most traditional casino spas on the Strip. Most spas I have been to either have no TVs or a minimal amount in a lounge type area. Here, TVs with sports and news are just about everywhere! I came today on College Football Saturday, so I was really digging the setup! I would ditch all the news on TVs though. That is pretty much the opposite of relaxing. Anyways, you have lounge areas with TVs, the wet area has a whole row of TVs, and even in the locker room area! Interesting! I got to watch UNLV smack around Fresno State while enjoying the jacuzzi! Sweet! (+) Day pass without being a hotel guest is $40. That sounds like a price from 2011! I'd say the average price for a day pass is a solid $100 these days. A few are cheaper, but quite a few are higher! I really appreciated the reasonable price! (+) Employees were very nice and friendly. The receptionist who checked me in was outstanding! My attendant was a nice guy and even checked up on me a couple of times. That almost never happens, and I was impressed. I was watching the game in a lounge area when one of the providers stopped by and just gabbed about sports for a little bit. Outstanding customer service, IMO. (+) That steam room gets HOT! ....and I LOVE it! You just have to wait for it to kick on every 15-20 minutes. It may take a minute, but it gets there! :) (-) They need to increase the temperatures in those Jacuzzis! They were barely more than lukewarm. I love the placement with the sports on the TVs, but both tubs were about the same lukewarm temperature. (-) The walk to my car in the parking garage made me sweat more than the dry sauna. The rinse off shower that was attached next to the dry sauna was perfect for walking into, rinsing off, and then going into the jacuzzi. (-) Day pass does NOT include access to the fitness center. Boo. With just a few small tweaks, this place could be fantastic! It's not your traditional spa, but I like their take on it. lol Gotta heat up those hot tubs though! This is easily a 4-star review with just that little adjustment! I like to try and experience new places, but I could definitely see myself coming back and maybe trying a treatment next time. Jacuzzi had very frothy foam on top which made me uncomfortable/ have been in many jacuzzis and the water is clear. My Apple Watch disappeared from my locked locker - when I got back to my room and realized I did not have it I called down and after a "search" was told no watch found. I went back down there to desk and 2 girls were at desk- first one said nope no watch here- I was clearly getting upset because I knew it had been in locked locker - so then the second girl picked up watch and said "Oh! This spa is so awesome! As another Yelper stated "One Treasure Island's best kept secrets!" I am glad I didn't pay any attention to the Yelp ratings on this spa, it really doesn't do this place justice. My wife and I were in dire need for a massage while on our Vegas vacation. So we scheduled an appointment for today, thankfully we caught the open appointments just in time. My massage therapist was saying today they got super busy after 12pm. We had book ours for 1pm around 9am this morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They told us all about the types of massages they offer. I highly recommend the therapeutic massage if your body is feeling tense or your body is in pain such as your back and leg areas. My massage therapist was very informative and explained to me about how my body was definitely in dire need of a massage. I explained to her my areas of my body that are usually bothering me. I also told her about all the walking we were doing. I couldn't believe how tense my legs were. They have a men and women's side of the spa. If you're doing a couples massage they will either put you in a couples room or separate rooms. My wife and I were separated today for our couples massage. It wasn't a big deal to us because we came for a massage. From the men's side the facility has showers, with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. It also has an area so you can brush your breath or for a self clean shave. They have a couple of whirlpools or jacuzzis depending on what you want to call them so you can sit and relax after your massage. I highly recommend sitting in one after your massage, it will help your body relax even more. There is also a an area where you can sit and relax until your name is called for your appointment. I finally understand why they asked you come 30 minutes prior. It's to prepare you and relax you all the way. After your massage is completed they give you some time so you can relax in the spa. They also stream and sauna rooms to help loosen your muscles up even more. Also Oleksandra's provides the body, soap, and conditioner if you stay at Treasure Island. I just wish instead of the mini bottles they have the same pumps in the hotel room showers as they do in the spa shower rooms. For the record my massage therapist was one of the best! I never had a therapeutic massage where I wasn't hurting afterwards. She definitely worked out all my tense spots. Amazingly I could feel the blood flowing again and rush to my head when she was working on my fire arms. I was amazed how I felt after my massage. I can definitely see us coming back again to this Spa and Treasure Island hotel on our next visit to Vegas!! I hope you Yelpers enjoy this spa as much as we did! read more

I treated my best friend to a massage and spa afternoon. The conditions seemed good however when he left the spa and returned to the lobby all his cash ($540) was missing from his wallet. He was the last massage of the day, and when he returned to inquire, everybody was gone. The locker was secured with him creating a pass code. I came here a couple weeks ago and got a therapeutic massage. I had the masseur Jessica and I was really disappointed and uncomfortable in my massage. I asked for more pressure and it wasn't any better. She would keep her hand on my leg and just stop moving which was very weird. I don't know if this girl was asleep or what. I was wondering what she was doing with her other hand, maybe she was on her phone. I've never had someone only massage with one hand before. It felt so lazy. She basically did almost nothing. This place is definitely a high class. I came here not for the massage, but paid an extra $17.00 to use their spa facility. This place is top notch. Clean facility and everything in working order. Clean lockers with robes (disclaimer they have is they'll charge you $125 if you try to steal it). Separate men and women facility and once you enter , the attendee will get you a new pair of slippers to use and show you the way. The shower stalls are nice and clean with plenty of towels. Shower has powerful head and plenty of hot water. Their sauna is nice and can accommodate 10 or so. Good temperature but more on the medium hot side. A side door leads to a small cold shower area. Location has dual Jacuzzi and the temperature is medium hot. Good powerful jets. The steam room is a slow cooker; so you'll need to spend some time to get sweat. Their relaxation facility is nice with TVs and comfortable psychologist type chairs. They provide unlimited juices, water, coffee, pretzel mixes and there's also a fruit basket. One downside is their operating hours are on the skinny side opening at 7AM hours and closes at 8PM ; for a city that never sleeps you would expect they open to at least 10 or midnight. read more

I had a couples massage done recently, I was really excited about this. For the two of us 50 minutes each was nearly $400. As part of that we were supposed to get to use the spa. Well the men's spas were out of service, so I didn't get to use the spa. I had a male masseur, my spouse had a female masseur, nothing against genders BUT my spouse was asked about work, and hurting spots and their arms were massaged and they had a very comprehensive experience, I basically wasn't asked any questions wham bam done. I was very disappointed for the price. I was really hoping for my first massage experience to be able to sit in a hot tub after the massage and take it in and really rest. I've had massages before at other places but never a place with a hot tub, we get out of the massage room and the hot tubs are all empty and closed off. Why wasn't I told of this before we went. Oleksandra is TI's best kept secret! I had the pleasure of visiting as a Groupon gift. To start, the entrance is on the 3rd floor, just off the main elevators. It's easily accessible to the valet/ride-share drop off area. To the right of their desk is the salon and down a long hall way is the spa. I had called for an appointment but decided I would walk in instead as I was trying to get in between my car being serviced. This wasn't a problem and there was availability for a massage. I had time to use the facilities if I desired to prior to my service. I was asked to fill out of a form for medical info purposes and handed it back to bring with me to the spa. While the girls at the very first desk were cold and unsure how to go about answering questions and providing recommendations, the girls in the spa foyer provide a warm welcome. You are first asked your shoe size to which you are given new, packaged flip flops to wear in the spa and take home or toss after use if you wish. Then you are shown the facilities and assigned your locker with locking instruction. Then, you are given your robe. Parts of the facility is gender neutral and full nudity is allowed. Facilities include a whirlpool, sauna and steam room that are included access with any spa service. I saw the front desk staff cleaning every few minutes and so much effort is made to ensure cleanliness. Refreshments include orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice, cranberry cocktail, hot tea, coffee, bottled and lemon water. Snacks include sweet - nuts with raisins and cranberry and savory - pretzels and wasabi peas. You are able to help yourself to anything you wish. There is also a fruit basket in the lounge area. I decided to use the whirlpool prior to my massage and towels were stacked neatly adjacent to it, with cucumbers available for those that needed them. Chairs surround the area for further relaxation. I was told my therapist would find me so I didn't have to feel like I had to be in a certain area. I was called for my massage right on time and Frankie was warm in introduction and receptive to my preferences immediately. The massage room was dark, which I appreciate, music was very relaxing and it smelled wonderful. I felt her massage was effective and relaxing. You pay what you'd expect for strip pricing here. My 25 minute massage was $100. Would I do that again on my own dime? No, probably not. I know of several other great places where I could get a 120 minute massage for that price. But it's nice, nonetheless. Great stop for those staying at TI already or on the strip. Though I'm not sure how it compares to the rest of the strip spas. I have two complaints, one of which would be regarding the front desk staff in regards to Groupons. The deal was $120 of services for $50. I arrive to be told that the 20% service charge they assess Groupon clientele (no problem I was aware of this from the terms), isn't a part of the Groupon, you have to look pay that separately. I had already confirmed on the phone that went total would be $120 redeemed solely by the Groupon. The 20% service charge is apparently gratuity. Which I had no problem giving Frankie, but I wouldn't have appreciated that if it was someone that didn't deserve 20%. Also, as a result of not being able to put the $20 towards the service fee I was told I would loose the $20 balance. I didn't think I had an option at that moment but later realized I was not even recommended options to use that portion of the Groupon for, I would have gladly paid some extra. That's just inconsiderate of the front desk staff knowing the circumstances. Second, please be warmer, you are the face of the spa and salon. That includes on the phone and being able to speak without excessive use of "um," it really dulls the phone experience. Overall, happy to have been able to experience Oleksandra. Got a Groupon from hubby as a gift and made reservations prior to our trip. On the phone the receptionist was a little snooty as she made sure to let me know my Groupon didn't cover the price for the massage I wanted nor did it cover tax and gratuity and I would need to pay that on cash after my services. Uhhhh....OK. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I was apprehensive about my visit. Well upon arrival, I was super surprised how pleasant the staff was and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful visit. I opted for the 30 min Swedish massage and was assigned to Dawn. I believe this woman hands were personally blessed by God cause she worked every kink and knot from my back and concentrated on my problem areas after a long 6 hr flight. I needed a hair (fade) which clearly your "hairstylist" team doesn't know what it's. I asked a few times before booking if they did that there. This was the result. If you may go on google and search for a men's fade you'll know what I'm talking about, I mean you don't have to have a cosmetology license to see the disaster specially for $50 Plus the service itself was horrible, I never was asked if I wanted something to drink or even a shampoo after the haircut. tl;dr - Found a big ass cockroach This review is from a visit in July. Used a Groupon and was excited to give it a shot. At first it seemed great. Everything you wanted and nothing more. Not expensive and not pretentious either. Seemed like a perfect spa for someone looking for a good bang for your buck. The reality is that I had a pretty poor experience. Everything just wasn't really working in an acceptable manner. Hot tub wasn't hot enough, steam room didn't have steam, and sauna wasn't hot. When I asked, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Such a shame because they have everything they need to be a great day spa with just a few tweaks. The massage itself wasn't great either. My masseuse was working my back in very odd strokes that didn't seem to align with any of my muscles. I've had a good amount of massages, mostly in Vegas, and this just felt very off. Last but not definitely not least, found a big god damn cockroach on the counter of the sink I was using. So gross. Attendant was super nice and took care of it but the damage was done. Needs a cold tub! I enjoyed everything about Oleksandra, but they need a way to cool off from the sauna, steam room, and hot tubs other than just a cold shower. Other spas I've been to have a cold plunge tub and/or a room temperature tub. The chairs by the TV and hot tubs were great and very relaxing. Had a really nice time at O Spa! It just opened last year, so everything is modern and clean. Because of a great Groupon deal ($60 for $120 worth of spa/salon services), it took a while to make a reservation. I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes, but Jennifer helped me and was very courteous. I stayed at the Wynn, so the spa was a short walk across the bridge. Amenities at the spa include a steam room, banya, whirlpool, and showers. I got the 50-min. Therapeutic Massage ($132), and my massage therapist, Dawn, did a great job. Just the right amount of pressure. Tasha, one of the spa attendants, was very nice and welcoming. The only thing that I didn't like was that upon check-in the girl (forgot her name) gave me the total amount due and asked if I was going to pay by credit card, cash or charge it to my room (not that I was staying at TI). I've never had to pay upfront before my treatment at a spa before. I asked her if I could wait until I check-out to pay, and she said that was fine. Um, then why ask me to pay first? Do they have customers taking off without paying? And even then, I had already provided my credit card info when I booked my massage. That was WEIRD. Other than that, I enjoyed my time there and would go back. Went here with a GROUPON. Services i had were a facial. That was really good and my esthetician was great. I also got a milk bath, that was a waste of money, glad i didn't pay full price. Youre basically sitting in a jacuzzi tub with water tinted white and left alone. I was annoyed but a couple of the clientele who wouldn't respect the quiet areas. Some were on the phone or just being loud in general. One of them smoking a cape pen. Don't know how much of the fault lies on the Spa but i guess it IS up to them to enforce the rules. Again, i didn't pay full price so thats the only reason I was able to afford getting any services done. Treasure island is beyond terrible I used to go there for years and had a few minor issues nothing worth writing about until recently. I was assaulted in the hotel by a staff member and I've tried to contact them several times. No one has reached out. It has been very unfortunate because you think sometimes people would just show empathy but I have been waiting for months. I have been transferred all over and no one can help or is willing to hear. I used a Groupon for $120 of servic on Saturday November 16. Thanks to reviews here and on Groupon, I knew to expect that a 20% gratuity would be added, so that wasn't an issue. Let me begin by saying that I had my hair styled by Monica. She did a fantastic job on my hair. It was exactly what I asked for. Then, I got my makeup done by Robin. I absolutely loved my makeup...but. I told her that I never used foundation because I hated how it makes my skin feel. She said they use an airbrush foundation that is water based so it doesn't clog pores. So I tried the foundation. And again, the end result was beautiful. She did a great job. The problem was that I knew exactly what's total should have been for a hairstyle and makeup, and I had a good idea of how much the false eyelashes would cost. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the foundation was extra since it was airbrushed. I told the girl at the front desk (young, platinum blond faux hawk) that I was surprised, and that staff should tell guests if something is extra. She just kinda shrugged, didn't apologize, and waited for my card. Then, to add insult to injury, I was completely broken out the next day everywhere the foundation was, which was pretty much my whole face. It really sucks that their business practice is to upsell without informing guests that it is in fact an upsell. I had ZERO complaints about Monica, and Robin's makeup was beautiful and flawless. It's too bad that the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. :( I wish I could give it a 2.5 stars. Monica deserves 5 stars. Robin deserves 5 stars for quality and 1 star for communication. My husband and I recently won a $180 credit to use here and finally got the time to get our massages this past Monday. Let me start by saying that the ONLY reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the prices are extremely HIGH; however, if you've got the money, you'll be pleased with your experience. We both checked in about 40 minutes before our scheduled massage time (they ask that you come at least 30 minutes early, but you're welcome to come much earlier and stay after your appointment as well). We parted ways and I entered the women's spa alone. The spa attendants were extremely helpful with directing me to my locker, setting me up with a robe, and pointing out all the amenities open to me (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, showers, complimentary snacks and drinks, etc). I enjoyed a relaxing 20 minutes in the jacuzzi before retiring to the main "waiting room" to enjoy a bottle of water and a newspaper. The place was almost deserted! I saw two ladies leaving and two other ladies arriving before my appointment, but most of the time I was completely alone! Nice. My masseuse Kelly collected me punctually at 5 and walked me down the hallway to my room. I LOVED this massage room; it was very dim and slightly warm, and there was soft music playing in the background. I can't recommend the Swedish massage enough! Kelly used the perfect amount of pressure, lotion, and oil to give me a very relaxing and soothing massage. The 25 minutes flew by, and then Kelly made sure to give me some water and juice before I left. If you're staying at Treasure Island and hit the jackpot, go check this place out. I read all these reviews after my visit. I am glad because I feel my review can be more objective. I too am a spa aficionado and my body has been through the ringer the last couple of years (think medical procedures). In addition, in order to relieve everyday aches and pains, I have to do some kind of exercise everyday (such as spin, Zumba, yoga, Pilates). I was very happy with my experience - Robert did my 50 minute deep tissue ($132). I have a very tight upper back, gluts and hips - he hit all the areas with skill and depth to try to loosen my muscles and get them to release. He was successful in all areas except my right shoulder and under the blade area - those muscles were not as cooperative but, that was not his fault. I went on a weekday afternoon so, it was not crowded. It is a smaller spa experience (compared to other Strip hotels) but, I found that refreshing. It was very clean, well appointed (in my opinion - I loved the understated decor/clean lines/nice tile work above/near the hot tub) and had all the amenities other bigger spas have. The reason I did not give it 5 stars are a bit on the nit pickier side. There were no wash clothes in the shower area or hand towels near the sinks (yes, small issue). The main reason it lost the 5th star - when I called to schedule my massage, the gal was a little short or better yet, didn't seem interested in making my appt. I also thought it was weird that I had to pay - the 20% gratuity before the service. I think the therapist loses out on this, because when warranted, I (and guessing others) tip more than 20%. I went with a group of girlfriends this past weekend. Each and every one of us had a bad experience at the spa. They upsell without telling you the price and then try to overcharge you! I had booked two treatments but they let me know their bath wasn't working when I checked in. I was badgered to pick another treatment (even though I had the massage booked) to replace my bath. When I declined they still tried to charge me for something else in addition to my massage - luckily I caught it before handing them my card. The worst experience from our group is when they 'accidentally' undercharged one of us who got a mani/pedi. They called her and asked her to come back, threatening to call security. Before she even left the room to pay the difference security called and threatened her! Over the SPA'S MISTAKE. It was so unprofessional and upsetting for all of us. Came here recently to do a couples massage with my wife. First off, the massage (lomi lomi) was spectacular. I have absolutely no complaints there and it's why they're getting 4 stars. I thought the spa facilities themselves lacked a little - at least on the men's side. When I walked in the guy showed me to my locker and then just kind of waved his hand and said "everything else is down the hallway". They had 2 hot tubs, a steam room (altho the door didn't close on the steam room, so it didn't really work) and then a dry sauna. And about 8 loungers. There was only 1 shower in the place and it was attached to the steam room for some reason. No shampoos or soaps that I could find. They had a room where you could get ready and it had some shaving supplies and that was about it. Thankfully we were staying at TI so it didn't really matter as much. There were 2 TV's over by the locker area and they had them both turned to football and turned up pretty loud. Thankfully I like football, but it wasn't really what I would call relaxing. read more

Mine and my husband's second time here and it was a wonderful experience. My first time that I came a few years ago I wasn't entirely pleased with my massage therapist. He did compressions on my body over the sheets for about thirty minutes. I've had many massages and know that isn't common, only lazy. Any who, fast forward to today- we gave Oleksandra another chance. We arrived about 45 minutes before our service times. We checked in quickly and opted to pay then. We used the Groupon deal that worked out great. We headed to our respective lounges and got to relaxing. The spa attendant briefly went over the facilities for me and was super sweet. I rinsed off in the shower before getting in the hot tub. (Just so you know, that's common etiquette to do so) I sat in the hot tub about fifteen minutes which was nice but felt it could have been a few degrees warmer. I then dried off and decided to lay down and rest a little on one of the lounge chairs located by the hot tub. I went back to my locker a few minutes prior to my service time to leave all of my belongings behind and wait in the quiet area before the nice spa attendant called my name and took me to my massage room (they do this if you're a female with a male provider). Robert asked if there were any problem areas I'd like more focus on and he did a wonderful job throughout the massage to ensure my needs were met. Wonderful pressure and very skilled hands. Also, great conversation but I'm sure he'd be silent if that's what you wish. After my service I used the steam room for a bit before heading out. My husband had a European lady who's name he couldn't pronounce. My husband is very easy to please but said she gave a great Massage. Overall, our experience was great. They give you throw away sandals and a robe. Lockers are the key pad type. Plenty of refreshments, fruit and snacks. Incredibly clean and well maintained. Well priced even without the Groupon. Not a large facility by any means but it wasn't crowded (Late Saturday morning) either time I went so the size was just fine. Only suggestions I could make would be a warmer hot tub and possibly some cold hand towels on ice near the steam room and sauna. Oh, and while Robert absolutely deserved the 20% automatic gratuity I wish they wouldn't do that based on my previous massage experience there. It should be left to my discretion. We will be back again next time we have a mommy/daddy weekend in Vegas. read more

I had a 50 minute hot stone massage here today. It was wonderful! The facility was tranquil, clean, and the service was quite exceptional! The staff was very professional and accommodating. The relaxation areas were small and the comfortable lounge seats filled up quickly, other than that everything was great. I would definitely return. read more

This is my favorite spa. Oleksandra "Miss Ukraine Universe" is the beautiful woman who created this spa. The facial products, make-up, hair products, etc. are all products she stands by! Since coming here, my platinum blonde hair preference has never looked better. I appreciate that they also have reasonable pricing! You have no idea how often I have been overcharged for my hair and often had it damaged. These spa professionals are serious professionals and take their job seriously. If you need a massage, facial, nail or hair treatment... Don't pass this place up! My mom had a sore spot on her foot, dry skin, and they were able to remove it and relieve her pain. Now she is hooked on Oleksandra Spa. I will always fly from the Bay to get my hair done here. Thats how good they are! read more

Brutal. Got an 80 minute massage yesterday. The masseuse didn't seem to be a real masseuse both on skill level and bedside manner. She was playing weird tribal chanting music the entire time instead of regular massage music, didn't ask what areas I wanted focused on, and I could hear a bunch of spa employees taking during my massage. There is much more, but I need to go get a real massage as the one I overpaid for here was a glorified pat down. Avoid at all costs. In general the spa was not nice either. read more

Came for a manicure on day two of our 5-day trip. Kimmie did an AWESOME job! The manicure lasted over a week, so I was still getting compliments days after returning home! If only I could afford to fly to Vegas every time I needed my nails done. I will be back to see her next year for sure! read more

I was lucky enough to get to spend some time at this spa on 5/7/12. I booked a Lomi Lomi massage with Kelly and it was AH-MAZING! I have been to around 10 other Vegas spas over the years, and booking with a stranger is always a gamble...but when in Vegas, you gotta roll the dice. I have spent a lot more money at other well known spas and not had nearly the awesome experience I had here. The facilities are immaculate, very updated, and very clean. There is a locker room, a room full of vanities, a lounge with chairs/blankets, a dry sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool with 4 chaise loungers around, and tons of treatment rooms. There is an array of juices, teas, coffee, fruit, nuts, dried fruit, etc. The ambiance here makes you just want to linger for hours. The Lomi Lomi massage was my first time for a massage of this type. It is a super oily Hawaiian technique that involves long massage strokes. It was heavenly. It does require you to be fairly exposed, so not for the shy folks. I would definitely come back here. I loved every second of my time and stayed an extra 2 hours going from the whirlpool to the loungers, just relaxing and enjoying every second. I also recommend Kelly. Had Swedish massages booked in one room with my husband. The facility was in Treasure Island on 3rd floor and the jacuzzi tub was where I first soaked and got to breathe and relax. My massage therapist was amazing and she took me to the room and made sure to bring me more towels since I just came out of jacuzzi to dry off and got me a warm towel to put on my head since it was wet. She was able to give a thorough Swedish massage and after I took a shower and just loved the entire staff and experience. read more
