My wife and I visited Lapis Spa in Las Vegas twice this past weekend, and it was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip. We used the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and locker room facilities, and everything was consistently clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. My wife had a deep tissue massage and said it was excellent. I even got a pedicure, which was great as well. Even though I don't remember everyone's names, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, pleasant, and incredibly helpful. They really helped make our weekend feel relaxing and stress-free. If we stay again at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara, we will definitely return to Lapis Spa inside Planet Hollywood. I've been here a total of three times since 2024. My first two times I had massages with Heidi and they were fantastic! However, my most recent visit (a few days ago) Heidi was not available and I had Gisele instead. She was kind at pickup, however, as we were talking through the consultation she visibly started becoming detached and I caught her slightly roll her eyes a few times after I asked some questions about add ons. While she stepped out and I was about to get on the table, I stuck my head out into the hall to ask to add an oil add on and she was leaning against the wall on her phone. She immediately put it away and said she could add the oil (I forgot the name of it). I thought this was a bit unprofessional since there are guests walking up and down the hall. During the massage, I asked for her to lighten the pressure and her responses were clipped and she seemed annoyed. I did not feel relaxed after and felt like a huge inconvenience to her. I always go down to enjoy the spa and it honestly was chaotic this time. I always enjoy the sauna shows (Joli is amazing!). The common area was too over crowded and it was LOUD. I get it, it's a social area but the employees should be able to ask to lower the voices in a spa, right? Apparently not. I asked Rolli (he said he was a supervisor) about it and pretty much said that's how it is and I could go to the female only side for more quiet if I wanted. I then saw him approach a female employee with orange hair and they seemed to laugh about it as she looked over my way. Also, all of the warm stone chairs had towels/robes on them to block anyone from sitting while everyone was in the pool. So no one else could enjoy them and again the employees didn't do anything about it. Okay.... I felt unwelcome in that area with them so I went to the ladies side. The hot tubs edges had black/green goop building up. Half the showers are broken. There were dirty cups/bowls everywhere. The star lounge had dirty towels built up. I went to the desk (where they give you your shoes) and there were about 7-8 of them standing inside...men too! Why can they see into the ladies only side? Again, fine I'll move on from that...but they were all so so loud and just laughing and chit chatting. You could hear them in the locker changing areas and the couches where you enjoy the snacks. While the entire spa was a mess! I got changed and left. I didn't even want to mention anything at the reception desk. It was overwhelming and underwhelming all at the same time and just wanted to get out of there. I honestly won't be coming back. The facilities are not being kept up with anymore. The service quality is very low. It was such a bad experience, there are other spas that offer better value for your money. read more

This is less of a traditional spa and more of a day club experience. It is likely one of the largest spa facilities I have been in, with a wide range of amenities and plenty to do throughout the day. If you are looking for an all-day experience with activities and energy, it definitely delivers. That said, the coed areas can get quite loud, especially on weekends. It can feel more social and high-energy than relaxing. Even during a massage, noise from the main areas can carry through, which takes away from the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there is no shortage of things to explore. Overall, it is a unique experience, but if you are expecting a quiet, traditional spa environment, this may not fully meet those expectations. read more

To start off, my "deep tissue" massage was amazing. The facilities and amenities are amazing. Absolutely zero complaints about my massage and I had the best time!!! The complimentary snacks, teas and coffees were soooo delicious. The amenities here have to be the best in Las Vegas. What I didn't care for and the reason for the 4 stars, was the amount of micro managing I felt while there. The staff was constantly hovering and telling us to put the phones away, even though we were on our way out and we were never told when we got there about the phone policy. Even though we weren't using our phones, they wanted them to be checked in at the front desk. That bothered me, and the constant hovering from the staff on every corner was a bit awkward for me. This was the most amazing experience. The first class treatment starts the moment you check in. The Lounge is relaxing providing coffee, tea, infused and plain water. All spaces are immaculate . Phenomenal experience. I've gone to many spas, in the country and abroad, and kept trying to think of one better than this -- I could not. This spa is worth every dime. If you need a sign to disbelieve money doesn't buy happiness, head on over to the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It's new, cost billions to create, and is beautiful. The opulence makes you feel opulent. It's giving money at every turn. The only issue I had was an older man standing about 200ft from the spa, blocking/monitoring entry to the hotel elevators and spa. I get it, but it felt impractical and excessive. He gave me the "up and down" look like what's my business heading this way? I told him I had a service booked and kept it moving. Nothing was going to ruin this $300 spa experience. Nothing! The walk up to the spa was beautiful -- the softest plush carpet, spotless floors, and a calming scent upon entry. I arrived hours early to enjoy the amenities and still barely made it 5 minutes before my massage. They have a strict no-phone policy, yet I saw a woman on her phone loudly in areas where clothes are optional. I almost lost it. I wasn't about to risk getting banned. The spa itself is stunning. You get a locker and wristband with an efficient push-to-lock system -- no more fighting with spa codes and forgetting the combination. Plenty of showers, marble vanity areas, and a lounge area with bananas, nuts, mini muffins, and dispensers with still and sparkling water. Amenities I tried: * Quiet room with pod loungers and twinkling lights like a night sky (one of my favorites) * 3pm sauna dance (15 mins, 3 heat stages, intense but amazing) * Cold plunge (Jacuzzi-sized, holds 6-8 people) * Co-ed whirlpool with jet pods for back and feet * Infrared sauna (you sweat, but the air remains cool) * Inverted chairs for lower back (didn't really help) * Snowfall shower (shaved ice falling from above - cool but freezing) * Dry sauna * Eucalyptus/aromatherapy cool sauna * Salt room * Steam sauna (so thick you can't see) * Heated tile chairs * Women's heated pool & rain shower The massage area is upstairs, separated from the amenities, which I like. The spa itself is excellent. The facilities are beautiful, the massage was great, and everyone I interacted with inside the spa was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was bad enough to bring the whole visit down to three stars. When I arrived, I waited about 15 minutes in line to be helped. When the customer in front of me finished, the front desk employee did not acknowledge me, say she would be with me shortly, or even make eye contact. She simply stared at her computer and typed for another few minutes before eventually waving me forward. It was the sort of customer service I would expect at the DMV, not at a luxury spa in a five-star Las Vegas resort. It was even more frustrating on the way out. I asked a woman at the front desk to validate my parking. She told me she needed to help the next person in line first. There were three people waiting. Validating parking takes about 30 seconds, but instead I stood there for another five minutes waiting before finally giving up, leaving, and paying for parking myself. Lapis is a beautiful spa with excellent facilities and staff once you get past the front desk. But at this price point, the front desk is part of the experience too. This spa is so incredible and has amazing potential but either management isn't paying attention to detail or hasn't really talked to a customer with real spa experience rather than a tourist.. I live in Vegas and have visited many spas here and in various countries and this place just misses in some areas but then over excels in others. I love the stargaze room, the snow shower is incredibly unique and the stadium sauna with the hourly performances is a truly special experience. There are many different areas of the spa to explore and the layout feels luxurious. I really don't know if they spent all of their money on the performers because I'm noticing that some parts of this spa are not giving a 5 star experience like it should be. The snacks are a huge let down. Please make sure you bring your own snacks if you have any type of allergy or sensitivity because nothing is labeled. This seems like a huge liability and as a former food industry employee I find this a huge oversight. I'm not sure if they just want people to get hungry and leave but it's odd that you couldn't even order food here if you wanted to. The other quite disappointing part is the robe quality. How is it possible that I asked for three different robes and each one was so pilled and heavily used I didn't even want to wear it. I have been here twice and I really hope management reaches out because I would love to be a part of some kind of customer relations /experience project or just give some kind of guidance on where the budget could potentially be spent to elevate this amazing experience in Las Vegas. The best spa on the Las Vegas strip! This spa has a co-gender communal area, which is one of the reasons why we love coming here. The spa is huge with numerous of amenities. If you don't feel like joining the co-ed area, the women and men's locker room each has its own jacuzzi, sauna, steam room & lounge area. They also offer self-serve beverages (hot tea, water) and snacks. Guests are supplied with a towel, robe & sandals! Remember to bring your swimsuit :) Got to try out the towel/sauna show that lasted around 15 min during my last visit. Sauna is huge in the communal area that can fit around 25 people. There's a huge screen and loud music playing in the room that's relaxing for your soul. The man hosting the show cranked up the heat by throwing these huge ice balls and water onto the coal! He swirled through the sauna with a huge towel fanning the crowd with hot air. It can get pretty hot and intense, but my body felt soo good after! The massages here are phenomenal, especially Mary Ann! She's great and will leave you feeling soo relaxed. Also had May before and she pushed out all my stubborn knots and focused on areas where I had bad muscle aches. Cleanliness is maintained pretty well throughout the spa. Staff is constantly walking through to make sure the snack/beverage area is well-stocked, soiled towels are cleared out and brushing out puddles of water in walkway areas! Today was uneventful and all in great ways. The last time we came here, I didn't want to even walk in Lapis ever again. The mgmt really came thru and I finally came back on 11/24 and it was a spa day I so needed without interruptions. I want to thank Lapis for receiving my precious review and contacting me right away and insuring my next visit will be as great as I know they can be. We arrived, and checked in. After a few moments waiting, he was walked to the men's side and I was walked to the women's side. We agreed to meet in an hour at the co-ed side. I wanted to have some time to myself and enjoyed the quietness of the lounge (with fruits and snacks plus water and tea). Then I headed to the Star lounge for some more quiet time as it's a small room with comfortable loungers and desk with star lightings above. You can get a few zzzzs quite easily because I did. I met up with him in the co-ed area. It can be a bit noisy here as there's other couples and sometimes groups of ppl. We enjoyed the sauna with the instructor, the different rooms and of course the corner area with the most comfortable chairs that allow you to literally be feet up and you lying completely down. A must try. We spent a good 3 hours using the amenities. It's available M-TH only for $180 for 4hrs. It's definitely worth every penny and so recommend. Parking in the structure is free for locals for the full day so it's a add ++ read more

Booked a facial and a massage to celebrate my birthday here. I got the 75 minute anti-aging facial and the 60 minute Odyssey massage. All the staff upon check-in were really friendly and helpful. The lady that gave me my tour had a heavy accent and it was very hard to understand her and she was talking super fast so that was kind of Difficult. When I first called and told them that I was booking these services for my birthday the person over the phone told me they do like a goodie bag for birthdays. It just depends on if they have stock. When I arrived in person the person told me that they give roses for birthdays. However, as I went through both services, I never received any kind of birthday gift at all, which obviously is very contradictory from the two different workers at the spa that I spoke with previously. So that was kind of a letdown. The masseuse and the facial tech were nice and I enjoyed working with them. They did both tell me happy birthday, which was also nice. I enjoyed the stargaze room and that they have coffee and tea and water available for us in like a little lounge area. The steam room was kinda nice although I didn't feel much steam in there. The very hot hot tub was very nice and I know that nudity is allowed in this area, but it's very alarming when it's several members all at once and I'm wearing my swim piece (female only area). My antiaging facial was $388 and my Odyssey massage was $284 plus I added hot stones for another $60. By the time I got out of there I paid $732 in total for the two services. I think I would return to the spa for sure. I really enjoyed it and the amenities we were able to enjoy. I would recommend it to other people who are looking for a good spa. It would've been nice though to receive a birthday item as I was hoping to receive per the two members I spoke with previously. LOVE! Came for a 60 min 5 point Star Massage. Our appointments were for 2pm, but we wanted to have time to use all the amenities so we arrived around 12pm. LOL PLEASE, do not bring your phones or drama into the spa. No one wants to hear about your work and family drama. We are here to relax! There is so much to do. The Co-ed area not only has a cold plunge, they have a snow room. Go inside, push the button and, snow will fall from the ceiling. There is also salt room, aromatherapy, hot sauna and zero gravity chairs. Ask about the events in the sauna. Michi was my therapist, she was amazing! We stayed in the spa area for almost 5 hours. Loved visiting this spa! I go to spas quite often and this is probably up there in terms of value and experience but I think it's only great if you can go on a non wknd. I went on a Sunday afternoon and Friday during the daytime and Friday was super relaxing as it wasn't as busy as Sunday. The spa has two areas--one for co ed and one for each gender (since you're allowed to go naked in the gender ones). Both have similar hydrotherapy pools and saunas but the co ed has a bit more stuff. I tried the odyssey massage one day and chakra balancing the other day. chakra balancing is just like a massage with some crystals but don't think the crystals did much but the massage was amazing. I think the quality of the massage depends on the therapist as my second massage was way better than the first (which wasn't bad but not as good). For the value I thought this was worth it as the price quoted is inclusive of all fees and taxes. The day pass to use the Amenities is around $200 so not sure why you wouldn't add in a massage since you can use the amenities for just $100 or so more depending what you get. I spent about 4-6 hours here and definitely could just relax here the whole day. The spa is also very clean with lots of towels and I love the fact they don't allow cell phone use inside so it is truly relaxing. Snacks were basically muffins and dried fruit and nuts and teas and coconut water. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area. Worth $220 for half a day? Only if your top priority is not having many people around. Worth $280 + fees for a facial + full day? I think so. Biggest con is that once you leave- there is no reentry allowed. The women's side was lackluster- they didn't have a well stocked snack selection to start with (10:40am) and didn't restock it until 2:50pm when it was nearly completely empty + the cranberry water was empty. The bathing suit driers were broken on both sides, the snow shower they are known for was under maintenance the entire time as were several other amenities. The shower I used had discolored caulk and grout already + the accents on the shower handles were loose. The only things offered on counters were lotion, mouth wash, combs, vanity kits and tooth brushes. Everything else had to be checked out from services- ie hair drier/ hair products/ hair brushes etc. Most of the staff was really nice but two of the younger girls just stood around with attitudes, talking to each other and checking their selves out in mirrors frequently. I had to apologize for getting in the middle of their conversation to get a glass of water while one stood blocking the water and the other was restocking the snacks and they both ignored me and looked annoyed. The water for drinking was out of service in the common area and the sparking one was out of service in the women's area. The robes had a ton of peeling all over them. The thermal and steam rooms were so cold they didn't feel like they worked at all. The only redeeming factor of the entire experience were the 15 min long steam room shows they do every few hours, those were worth writing home for. I think they do roughly four a day. After many stays at Fontainebleau I finally visited Lapis. I enjoyed THE BEST massage of my life with Gabriela. I get regular massages, but no one has Gabriela's skills! We spent part of our weekend at Fontainebleau while in town for the Backstreet Boys concert and booked Saturday at Lapis Spa. The property itself photographs beautifully and the marketing definitely draws you in. And to be very clear... my massage was absolutely wonderful. Truly one of the best massages I've had, and my therapist was excellent. That said, the overall spa experience didn't quite match the expectation. As someone who travels to Vegas often and frequents spas like Resorts World and the Cosmopolitan, I was expecting a calm, relaxing environment to match the price point and branding. Instead, the spa felt consistently loud and overcrowded. It was Valentine's Day weekend, so I understand higher traffic, but there are ways to manage that... staggering services, reinforcing spa voice etiquette, and ensuring the space still feels tranquil. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Conversations were happening at full volume throughout the different areas, and it felt more like bathhouse energy than a relaxation-focused spa environment. It made it difficult to fully unwind. I also noticed some attention-to-detail issues. There were dirty towels left around, empty water cups, and snack plates sitting out for extended periods. At one point, I even started cleaning a few items myself just to create space to sit. For a luxury spa experience, that level of upkeep should be more consistent. If you're going strictly for a massage, you will have a great experience. But if you're planning to spend several hours enjoying the amenities and are looking for a peaceful, restorative spa day, I would personally recommend Resorts World or the Cosmopolitan instead. In my experience, those spas better maintain a calming atmosphere, enforce spa etiquette, and provide more attentive floor service. Beautiful space. Excellent massage. But the overall environment didn't quite deliver on the luxury spa experience I was expecting. read more

Wow! This spa was one of our all-time favorites. There's so much to see and do, including the unique (for america) sauna events. The complimentary tea, coffee, water and snacks were high quality. Want to be honest about the spa experience. While the spa is visually beautiful and very modern, I personally didn't appreciate how open the entire layout is. There's very little room for solitude or quiet separation, which was unexpected in a spa setting. From the moment you walk in, it feels more social than serene. A big part of what I look for in a spa is the ability to disconnect and reconnect with myself, but this space felt more geared toward socializing. It's fairly loud with conversation echoing throughout, and it often feels like you're in everyone's personal space rather than a private, relaxing environment. Even the lounge areas are arranged with beds completely facing each other about a foot away in proximity, which made it difficult to fully relax or feel at ease. It just didn't offer that sense of personal escape I associate with luxury spas. Compared to places like Waldorf Astoria, which offer more secluded relaxation areas, this felt like a very different experience--less about quiet restoration and more about socializing.i will not be back. read more

Odyssey massage with Kimberly is always incredible! Love the relieving pressure point relief, seamless transitions, and she makes every service feel detailed and special. Love the added adjustments for comfort, heated bed and warm weighted pillow. My favorite massage in Vegas, yet! Also highly recommend catching the Aufguss sauna experience for some transcendant heat and beautiful performances! Downsides were the volume of other guests on a busy morning and loud tours given in quiet spaces. In addition, their lounges lack amenities. Be sure to bring own hairbrush, skincare, etc. We loved returning to Lapis and also want to recognize Tracy in the women's lounge for her kindness! read more

Incredible! Finally, a Strip Spa that actually enforces the "no phone" policy. It really makes such a difference to the whole spa experience. I really appreciated that as a guest. Im a local, since 93 so, I have been lucky enough to try many, many Las Vegas spas. I have a favorite locals spot that I can't get enough of but, I also like to try new places. This spa is a STAR among the strip spas for sure. It's a pricy option( $900 for 2 of us) but, in my opinion totally worth it. Even if you book the cheapest service just to experience the spa area you will be amazed. They have separate men's and women's lounges that are both clothing optional. There also is a clothing required co-ed space. Try all the things, cold plung, aromatherapy room, salt room, wet and dry saunas, infared therapy room, star gazing room. They offer a breath work class at noon in the main sauna that literally had me saying, "holy sh##" during the session....it was amazing! This is now in my list of Top 3 spas!!!! read more

after considerable research, i decided to make a visit to lapis spa during my recent visit to vegas. it was mostly clean throughout (except the used bandage i saw in the salt room!), and had nice amenities. i particularly enjoyed the aromatherapy room with the eucalyptus scent, and the snow room. the stargazing nap room was also peaceful. the snack selection of light bites (dried pineapple, plantain chips, fruits) and drinks (tea, coffee, filtered still & sparkling water) were all pleasant, the spa is open to all on mon-thurs, and fontainebleau guests & members only on fri-sun. when you enter the locker rooms, you are welcomed with a bathrobe, locker, slippers, and a quick tour around the spa. i received the chakra balancing massage and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere overall. however, the masseuse's pressure remained extremely light all throughout. for the price of the service, it would have been great if she had checked in to see if i preferred firmer pressure. the entrance of the spa also has some skin and haircare products, clothing, and makeup you can try/purchase. as i left the spa, i asked the receptionist for parking validation. they told me parking was free since i'd been there less than two hours. that turned out to be wrong, and i ended up paying $20 which was very disappointing considering how much that was already paid for this experience. overall, i enjoyed my visit, though there are definitely some areas that could be improved. read more

I've been to multiple luxury spas in Vegas and this one takes the cake! It is amazing gorgeous and HUGE! I've never been to a spa that was so large in size and that had sooooo many amenities. First off, they have a strict no phone policy for privacy and relaxation reasons. The photos I took are strictly contraband, but I couldn't help it. There are multiple pools and steam/sauna rooms. The quiet room is beautifully lit like the midnight sky. The community area is perfect for when you want to do a girls trip because there's so much space and you don't feel like you have to be quiet. So make sure you book your bachelorette parties here. The snacks are even good. I love the banana chips and the candied nuts. I did a 90-minute odyssey massage with Diane and I kid you not this is the first time in a massage that I've snored more than five times. She was amazing. I felt so relaxed afterwards. FYI the spa is only open to registered guests during the weekends so if you're not staying at the hotel you have the book for a weekday appointment. To me this is the best part of my stay at the Fontainebleau. I would definitely come back here just for the spa and I've already told my girlfriend that we're doing our next girls trip here. read more

We did enjoy ourselves here. As locals I had to take a day off to enjoy the spa since it's only hotel guests on the weekends. A few things that we enjoyed. The hotel/casino itself is very nice, quiet, great food options, making the reservation was easy, the facility was beautiful and well kept, the service itself was amazing. Where they could improve were some in treatment amenities. The food section was lackluster. We were hoping for some spa cookies, little snacks other than the large bowls or friend fruit/nuts and muffin they had. The drink and food section was lacking. You pay the price for the amenities but if you don't have time to spend a few hours it's not worth it. The price was higher than other spas and we didn't have enough time to make use of the facility. Although we all enjoyed it, the service itself wasn't good enough to pay the price. Nothing wrong with that at all! If we had more time we would be ok with the price. Lastly there is a minimum price to be able to use the facility. We all wanted pedicures and to use the facility but was told we had to pay a minimum amount for a service to get in. We are used to any service being able to use the facility. All things considered we enjoyed but if you like the small snacks and beverages to go with your relaxing experience, there are better options. If you want an impressive facility to hang out in before your experience, this is the place for you! read more

Too bad I didn't read the reviews before planning my girls trip! The massage was great, Lavashti and Henry (receptionists) were awesome and Tracey (host) was fabulous. I'm not sure why anyone would hype this place up. The amenities and overall facility felt like a bad dream... like an overpromise and under deliver vibe. Oh and I hosted 3 women and we were told we'd all have female therapists. Unfortunately, plans changed and my friend was forced to have her session with a male therapist. If we would have been notified of this change from sooner we would have made arrangements for us to swap. If it weren't for the staff I mentioned I'd be giving this place a 1 star. I definitely do not recommend this spa. read more

AMAZING. Treated ourselves to couple massages and enjoyed the spa amenities. Nice touch that there's both co-ed areas and male/female. I'm pregnant so I had the prenatal massage and the cushions they had were SO comfortable. I wasn't able to use a lot of the amenities but it's okay since I knew that going in. There is a second jet spa in the women's area that's a lower temperature that I could get in which I appreciated! I loved the peaceful star gazing lounge and the area with healthy snacks, water, coffee, and tea. When we were done for the day we were able to take showers and they have blow dryers available. read more

We stayed at the Fontainebleau and of course as a spa enthusiast had to check out the spa. OMG! This was EXQUISITE and UNIQUE in every sense. I've been to a lot of world renowned spas (think Canyon Ranch etc) and this is tops!! It's actually ruined me on even wanting to try any others because I cannot imagine anything being better and I don't want to be disappointed. The snow room!!! The Himalayan salt room!! The sleep room!! The Anti gravity chairs!! And the disco sauna!! What an INCREDIBLY fun, healing experience. Run don't walk! read more

I was absolutely blown away by my experience at the Lapis Spa. I booked the 60 minute odyssey massage and it was beyond worth every penny. Kimberly was so professional and kind and ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. I also loved being able to select the scent they used during the treatment. Additionally, being able to access all of the stunning amenities with purchase of a service made the experience so worth it. The highlights for me were the snow room, the herbal room, and the event sauna where I got to do a 30 minute group session on breath work with the Sauna Meister. Also the front desk staff at check in was very helpful and answered any questions we had. This experience was hands down one of the highlights of my trip and I cannot wait to come back here soon. read more

Prefacing this by saying that I love spa days and love to explore different spas. I was really looking forward to experiencing Lapis in LV, as I have had the chance to visit Lapis in Miami already. The awesome: large coed area that includes really nice amenities. There was a lot of thought that went into putting this spa together. There was no skimping on this one! The not as awesome: the price.. but then, it's Vegas! A low end service is over $200. They offer an amenities pass for 4 hours during the week, but that was only $70 less than the cost of a low end service and you still get charged a 20% service fee. So $180 to use the amenities for four hours. I would have loved a eucalyptus steam room and expected a few more perks for being Fontainebleau. I didn't do a massage this time around and will likely just stick to my old fave- Canyon Ranch inside Venetian. read more
