[[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm truly impressed at this locations ambiance. We were totally amazed by the interior design of this location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Mishelle was extraordinarily exceptional, she was efficient and accommodating with personality plus. The service was like being in a 5 star restaurant. We ordered Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp Alfredo, Minestrone, Pasta e Fagioli , Chicken & Gnocchi Soup's. The food was served pipping hot with lots of flavor. Hats off to the Cooks.

Yet another Olive Garden, I can honestly say that Olive Garden has a strong hold on me! It's an all time favorite and you can never go wrong! I have been to this location before and it's always a great experience. It's directly off the freeway next to the capitols mall, so it's convenient location. The hostess instantly greeted me and seated us immediately! Our waitress was Alicia, she was nice and had a great sense of humor. She brought everything that we ordered out quickly! She was very attentive, got our drinks refilled with no questions asked. I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo it was good! Came out hot, it's NOT something that I would eat regularly cause it has a lot of calories and carbs, but today was one of those days for me where I wanted to indulge, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal - thank you

Chicken Alfredo

Alberto was our server, he was amazing!! I came here with my two friends 4/14 and got the chicken Alfredo.. SO GOOD. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the music playing and the vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] THANK YOU ALBERTO!!

spaghetti with Spaghetti & Meatballs (2) orders

Small portions of spaghetti an meatballs. My wife picked up two orders of spaghetti with meatballs and a fettuccine alfredo to go. The spaghetti portions were very small and with very little sauce. It looked like the cook cooked one order and split it into two containers. The spaghetti barely covered the bottom of the containers and had maybe a single scoop of sauce on top. I haven't had this issue in the past, but for $21, I expect a decent portion of spaghetti, as cheap as it is to make...

Tiramisu. Creamy and delicious!

Very first time going to Olive Garden. Went with two friends from work. It was actually really good! Mine was the grilled chicken Margherita with pesto, roasted tomatoes and garlic, lemon broccoli and the minestrone soup. And dang!!!! Those breadsticks were awesome with the salad We also shared Tiramisu, that was heaven! Not bad lol!

Well we go here because my kid loves it and yes we know it's all microwaved food the so called chef told me that all they to is reheat ok but like I said my kid loves it so we go, [[HIGHLIGHT]]we went last week about 5 other families there the lady older who greeted us asked if it was ok we sat at the high table and chairs I said no we would like a booth then she sat us at a table every open booth was open don't know why we couldn't sit in one but it seemed like the only ones who were allowed to sit in them were caucasians this pissed me off but like I said my kid wants to eat here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So we ordered our water was very nice even other employees I assume the greater the Middle Aged white female with glasses was the manager on duty I ran out to get my sweatshirt as she sat us under the AC when I walked back in she gave me an eye roll rude felt like asking her do you discriminate because I have tattoos or because I'm native and Spanish!? But I kept my mouth shut as kids were around. I suggest you have a talk with her before I go on every platform to inform my town of her behavior I read the sign it's said Olive Garden not Trump racist supporter Garden her behavior is not professional at all as we we're leaving my co worker walked in with her family a was sat at a booth and treated and greeted with smiles not what we got!

Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday night, tried joining the waitlist online but it stayed there wasn't a wait. When we arrived, there was was a 10-15min wait. We ended up waiting about ten minutes before we were seated. Service was good, we got our food fairly fast and everything was very good! I got their chicken Alfredo and the bread was delicious! It was my first time at this location and I was not disappointed! There is plenty of parking and we were able to pay with with the tablet available at the table instead of waiting for our server!

The counter service female was very nice and helpful. The sandwich was very good and we've eaten there many times in the past. When we both sat down to eat we noticed that our sandwich hadn't been cut in half. My girlfriend went back to the counter and asked a male kitchen employee behind the counter if he could cut our sandwich in half. The sandwich was completely wrapped in paper and we did not unwrap it at all prior to asking for it to be cut. His response was extremely rude and nasty. He claimed that it was already contaminated despite the fact that it was still completely wrapped in paper. He acted like we were putting him out by us asking him to simply cut the sandwich in half. He accused my girlfriend of "contaminating" the sandwich (in his words) just by touching it despite the fact that it was handled by 2 people before we even touched it. Basically, it was his scolding condescending tone that totally turned us off to ever visiting this place again. It only takes one lazy a--hole employee to ruin a great dining experience.

It looks like it would be a great place for large groups. We have never been here before and were confused as to where to park. The front area has 2 or 3 spots but I don't know if they're for customers. We found a drive way that led to the back of the restaurant that is shared by several businesses. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly and our server gave us really good feedback on the dishes we asked about. Someone was always walking around filling water glasses. We sat in the back patio. It's very spacious with a lot of umbrellas to keep guests in the shade. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich. He said it was ok, but a little dry. I really enjoyed the roasted mushroom and avocado melt, but it was hard to eat. Every time I took a bit, all the other ingredients would spill out. Lol I took out some of the greens to make it more manageable. The calamari was well seasoned and the Rock Fish Ceviche was our favorite. I had the spicy Devil's Ginger vodka martini with the calamari appetizer and with dinner, the Lava Top Sauvignon Blanc ($13), a perfect complement to the swordfish. My swordfish was perfectly sautéed in a tapenade beurre blanc sauce ($40) with deliciously creamy and decadent polenta and buttery chopped bok choy. The way they served the bok choy was perfect- never change it. It was artsy, buttery and didn't look wilted. My son had the grilled boneless pork chops (two boneless chops) with fries and smoky beans ($28), loved. He devoured the berry fruit crisp à la mode for dessert ($12) and I had two small bites: It was like granola over compote with ice cream. I didn't complain. The best part was the incredibly flawless service. We could have felt rushed dining since it was towards the end of service. Instead, Genevieve paced the meal perfectly so we felt spoiled and unrushed. Next visit I would love to dine in their "secret garden" courtyard; it was beautiful. Their 'secret garden' would be beautiful for a private party like a birthday or wedding anniversary, bridal or baby shower.

I think you can make the wrong choice on your 1st/2nd/3rd visit depending on your taste, but I also think you should come back and you'll absolutely find something that 100% tickles your pickle. I've tried most of their hot sandwiches: - Noni's Pesto Chicken: this is one of my favorite sandwiches of all time. It's not very complex but for some reason the combination of flavors just is *chefs kiss*. 5* for this alone, don't fight me - Surf City Philly: can be surprisingly spicy, heavy but SO good. This is my third favorite. - Chicken Cowabunga: not that great, would skip, but I also have a whole website on fried chicken sandwich rankings so I'm picky - Vulcan Mind Melt: sounds so good on paper but it's just heavy. I would skip - Crispy Cod Wrap: I've had a bite or two of this and I thought it was pretty good but not that memorable - Pork Belly Banh Mi: this was good, and I don't usually like pork belly - Chipotle Chicken Club: also kinda heavy but I really enjoyed this! This is my second favorite. - Cubano: not particularly memorable Not a sandwich but Beer Barnacles: ugh I enjoyed this more often than I should have, sorry not sorry. 5*

I had a pastrami sandwich there once before and it was pretty good, so figured this would do. Ordered the burger combo with Lentil soup. Asked for my burger medium and when it came out it was well past that and I'm pretty sure it was a frozen patty. I have frozen patties I cook at home that are great, so guessing it just wasn't very good quality to begin with. The lentil soup was flavorless and I only had a few bites before tossing out. Seasoning, a ham hock, and some aromatics would do a lot for this soup. Left feeling very disappointed as there are a bunch of more satisfying options in the area and I chose the wrong one. As I was sitting in traffic, my stomach started feeling like I ate some broken glass or something. Obviously there wasn't broken glass in the burger, just a fitting analogy. I had stomach pains for the next few hours. This is all I had eaten in like 10 hours, so I'm positive it was the burger. The woman at the counter was friendly and the place was pretty clean. I've got a pretty iron gut and it takes a lot to make it turn. Don't think I will be going back.

(I have, no joke, walked by it dozens of times without realizing it!) I found it from seeing it on a list of restaurant participants for Burger Week. Overall, I give Pete's 3.5 stars, and here's why... **Ambiance: 5 stars** With the bright and tastefully-decorated dining room along with the multiple windows overlooking the spectacular beach, you really can't beat this ambiance! Pete's has the fine-dining vibe that's perfect for that first date, anniversary or other special dining occasion when you want some quiet and mood lighting. **Service: 4 stars** We were seated right away, even without reservations. It was a Sunday, and there was no wait or crowd. Service was quick and friendly. Mid-dinner, a server broke some glassware right behind my seat and needed us to move so they could sweep under our table and feet. They ended up moving us to a better table (next to the window) instead of having us stand there to watch them sweep. Accidents happen, and I felt they handled that well. **Food: 3 stars** Every item we ordered was delicious and fresh, and all arrived quickly. However, the menu was fairly compact, and the amount of food is even more compact. I was excited Pete's had lobster rolls (one of my all-time favorite food items EVER; $28) on their menu, so I didn't hesitate to order that along with a lychee martini. My partner ordered the bolognese ($30) and an old fashioned. We ordered the polenta as an appetizer. All of it was tasty, but oh-so-small. The cheddar polenta was like a taste test size (maybe 4 TBs), and the lobster roll was the smallest I had ever seen in my life. I didn't want to be rude, but I wanted to laugh when it arrived at our table! The lobster roll was smaller than my hand. It looked like circus food with all super tiny sizes. **Price/Value: 2 stars** You don't come to Pete's for the value because the portions are.... micro. TIP: If you have a big appetite or skipped a meal that day, I suggest going elsewhere or be ready to turn over a paycheck because you'll need to order a lot to fill up. It is worth it, however, if you fancy a light-filled room with views of the sparkling ocean and sounds of the waves crashing on the golden sands of Capitola!

I searched around the area for some popular bakeries and Gayle's came up on top, so off we went to try it out. As expected, the place was very busy when we walked in, we immediately grabbed a number, and waited to be called to place our order at the counter. It'd be a good idea, though, if you had made a good round to browse at all the goodies they have to offer, so you know what you want once your number is called... at least this is what we did. So, we ordered the Pain de Amande (almond croissant... my fave), a Bear Claw (loved these as a teenager), a Raspberry Napolean, and a Fresh Berry Tartelette with pastry cream. OMG! The almond croissant was aaammmaaazzing! I'm going to say this with all confidence, but this was the very best almond croissant of ever eaten! The croissant had a very nice light crisp on the outside, lovely dense layers of pastry inside, and that almond paste was just the best.... it has excellent flavor, just the right sweetness... not overly, and just pulled the whole croissant together to give one amazing yummy bite.... that you won't be able to stop eating! The Raspberry Napolean was excellent too....a bit sweet because of the raspberry jam. Regular Napoleans have flaky layers holding the sweet fillings, but this was more of a butter biscuit layer.... not quite the same, but still oh so yummy! The berry fruit tartelette was also excellent... fresh berries on that delicious pastry cream, inside a perfectly baked pastry shell. Lastly, the Bear Claw.... used to be one of my favorites, but I thought it needed something more most and creamy or moist on the inside, otherwise it tasted just a little bit dry.... still very good, but just needed something more. The one thing all the delicious baked goods we tried had was, they were obviously very freshly baked with the freshest ingredients.... and prepared to perfection. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely pay another visit to Gayle's as their pastries are simply the best you'll ever find anywhere.
