Caesar salad, had red cabbage in it, tossed well, tasty and delicious. Similar emerald mallard Felton. Over the top!

The salad was great, the pizza was less memorable. Maybe others are better and we chose poorly lol..

We've been hearing people talk about Buzzos a lot lately and how incredible it is. We've been wanting to try it and finally had the chance tonight. It was AWESOME!! The ambience when you first walk in has a tropical/ Mediterranean feel and upscale inside. The staff was very warm and inviting. For the appetizer, we ordered the Barada which was recommend by the staff and incredible! The salads were fresh, light and perfectly dressed with the right amount of crunch. For our entrees, we went family style and shared the Bolognese pasta and potato pizza. YUM!!! We were excited to have finally try Buzzo's and glad to have found a new favorite spot to eat out. Highly recommend!

Really solid pizza. It was overall a great vibe, with a nice outdoor area. I had heard a lot of great things about Buzzo's before finally getting an opportunity to eat here, so was really hopeful. Definitely see why people like it! The crust is damn near perfect, and the arancini was wonderful. The better pizza was definitely the margherita. I had heard a lot about the potato pizza, but to me it just didn't really seem to work; there were so many ingredients and it just didn't meld well to me. Neither pizza had the marbling on the cheese I was hoping for, but definitely overall a really solid experience! Would come back for sure!

Meatballs

Meatballs here were amazing and service here was great. I would definitely visit again.

Really good food, and good atmosphere. We got the oven roasted tomato and burrata for an appetizer, which was really good. The bread was a little salty, but besides that, really really tasty, the burrata and tomato were delightful. We got the Jenkins pizza which was also very good! The toppings had a tendency to slide right off the slice, so eating it was a bit of a challenge. But the flavor was super well mixed. There is pineapple, but it's so small that it isn't overwhelming. It was a little noisy seated outside, but besides that the atmosphere was great. It was pretty, and the heat lamps kept us from being cold. Service was good, our water cups were filled multiple times and our server was very nice.

Pizza is good- i wouldn't say great. Service is always just meh. The pizzas aren't big, only one size. They make it pretty quick- 15 minutes.

Meatballs- my favorite thing on the menu!

My favorite spot in Santa Cruz! The service is always great and the food comes out fast, even if it's busy. I love their outdoor patio. It has a greenhouse feel to it, which is very relaxing. The food here is exceptional. My favorite thing on their menu is their meatballs. They are perfectly seasoned, high quality, and the sauce and cheese complements them perfectly. Their pizza is wood fired and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything here!

Nduja pizza

First time here and it was deliciously divine. Sat on the covered patio that featured patio lights and plants. Very welcoming and cute. But the review was for the morsels. Started with an understated celery, pear & fennel salad. Perfectly light, bright, crisp & refreshing. The morel pasta special was rich, the morels were plentiful, a treat. The nduja pizza was literally fire and yum. I'd recommend.

One of my fav pizza spots in town. Always nice to get on the waitlist and head over to beer thirty for a drink while you wait. Staff is always amazing and nice. Cauliflower appetizer, meatballs, and Margherita pizza are musts for me! The sausage pizza is another great choice.

We came here to celebrate the anniversary of my furbaby's passing (not your typical anniversary celebratory dinner, but def still an anniversary!) and I was very satisfied with my choice. Parking was super easy. The entrance was already beautiful enough, and the tram was such a unique highlight experience. We got some great videos! I wasn't sure how our timing would be this night so I didn't make a reservation, but we called ahead and arrived a little before 7pm. We inquired about seating in the dining room area and got a drink at the bar and were thankfully squeezed in for a table (due to a cancellation). All of the staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The restaurant itself is an aesthetic rustic garden experience from beginning to end. So many floors to explore and lovely plants to enjoy. Its also right by the water, so sitting outside is also another experience in itself. Perfect for date nights! The food was excellent and surprisingly just as good as the view. The Ahi Carpaccio was sliced perfectly thin and just melted in my mouth. I wasn't expecting to devour the whole thing but i'm glad this dinner was my first meal of the day. The scallops were also divine, loved the mashed potatoes along with it, and the sauce. Also completely finished my entree. My vegetarian date enjoyed the beet salad and the nightly noodle special, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks we ordered were quite standard (nothing innovative) but still made well. And the mudpie dessert we ordered was also good. The crust was quite crispy. Since we were celebrating an anniversary (though not ours), our server helped us to take a photo which they printed out for us immediately. This was definitely a great touch and rare to find at a restaurant (especially complimentary). I would love to come back and introduce more people to this lovely restaurant!!

Cathy Bentley was the barista and she is also the very friendly and knowledgeable owner of their thriving business. They have excellent wines from prominent wineries in California. I liked the "Cheers" feel good vibe at the venue. They have big storefront windows and an outside patio. Yes, the dance floor and the patio are relatively small, so come early! I had a glass of the Hatcher, Murphys, 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. It was crisp, light to medium-body, and tasted fresh with a hint of almost green apples. As you can see on their menu they also serve craft beer and food. Something for everyone! So, on your next night out, come for the fun and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, live music, and your preference of beverage. Mine, obviously is white wine. See you on the dance floor. -Susan in Santa Cruz

The best part is that they seem to have really cool regulars who are chill and welcoming. I love that vibe! Tips if you visit: - Check the website and go when there's a band. It's 'dead' when there isn't a band. - There's no entrance fee when there's a band. Yippee ki-yay! - Skip the wine flight. The pours are pretty meager. You'd get a better "bang for your buck" if you get a glass of wine that you know you'd like. - Be ready to be social (at least a little) because you may need to share a table when there's a band. - As for food, tots are tasty, but portions are tiny. - Pizzas are your best bet if you're hungry. - Skip the paninis. See photo. - Feel free to dance if the vibe takes you there! Cork and Fork is a fun place to check out.

The patio is full of gorgeous green plants and flowers. We felt like we were sitting in a garden. The inside appears to be a house, converted to a restaurant. It all kinds of unique and quirky decor. We were treated very special at both visits. The 1st time it started raining while we were seated on the patio, so they moved us inside and gave fresh everything. Our April visit, we were seated in an almost exclusive patio dining area, for 6 people. All of staff were lovely. We initially chose this place for the Bloody Mary's which are superb. But, it is also a really good brunch choice. From eggs benedict to salad to sandwiches. Everything we ordered, both times, was really good. I'm going to look for the photos now.,

Super creative dishes, great farm to table flavors, and good value for large shareable portions. The all California, mostly local wine list is amazing, and great pricing with many bottles at $50-60. A few small flavor misses on our selections (habanero ice too spicy for the oysters, abalone taste a little lost in the excellent riff on cassoulet) Fun, quaint atmosphere eating outside in the garden. I actually wish we had a 2nd reservation here this weekend so I could try more dishes.

We sat outside and had an incredible view of Capitola Beach. The service was slow throughout the meal, and one thing that stood out was that I never received a water refill the entire time we were there. It wasn't terrible service, but it definitely felt inattentive. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine because I wanted something a little more filling. In hindsight, that's partly on me since seafood fettuccine isn't exactly a dish I usually expect to be exceptional anywhere. The Alfredo sauce was bland and needed a lot of pepper to bring some life to it. Most of the seafood was overcooked and chewy, particularly the fish. The clams were probably the best part of the dish and were cooked reasonably well. Overall, the view was fantastic, but beyond that, the meal didn't do much for me. Between the slow service and underwhelming food, this ended up being one of the worst meals I had on my trip.
