Who doesn't love Olive Garden's breadsticks,salad,& a mountain of fresh grated cheese? I know I sure do! I came here w/ an empty stomach ready to devour. I started off w/ the warm breadsticks & fresh salad. I dipped my breadstick in the salad dressing. Then I went in for the gnocchi chicken soup. Dipped a breadstick in that,too. Next was the grand finale my entree. I ordered the tour of Italy(chicken Parmesan,lasagna,& linguine Alfredo) but instead of baked lasagna I had the fried lasagna. I wish I had taken a pic before the massive amount of Parmesan cheese the waitress piled on. I could have build a snowman w/ how much Parmesan cheese was buried on my plate.My food was fresh,hot,& delish! I didn't get dessert b/c I load up on the chocolate mints(love them). Our waitress, Neigya was on point like a pencil! Mariah the manager checked on our(my cuz & me) table numerous times to make sure we were str8. The decor felt homey,cozy,welcoming & inside was super clean (even the bathroom)! This place gets a bad rep(I checked out previous reviews) but I think they're trying to turn this place around. I was on a social media site when an Olive Garden advertisement displayed their new dish, Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo. That's how ads get you on the internet, and they got me. In thirty minutes, I find myself heading to the nearest Olive Garden. I haven't been to Olive Garden in about five years, but I used to come about once a week before then. I was greeted as I entered the establishment, and the wait was about ten minutes. Once I was seated, I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo dish. The dish came with salad and breadsticks, which tasted just the same as they tasted five years ago. They were buttery, soft, and hit with a hint of salt. The Salad was fresh, and yes, I added extra Cheese on my Salad. The Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo was sooooo good. It was so creamy, and the Balsamic Vinaigrette gave the dish a sweet taste, but not overpowering. There was fresh basil, and the steak was cooked to perfection. It was medium rare and melted in my mouth. The Sun-Dried Tomatoes gave the dish a nice bite and was just an excellent dish. The dish is a five-star dish, but after having it, I returned about six more times to have it, but it was not always consistent. The steak was sometimes cooked differently or overcooked. They would need to find a way to keep the dish consistent, and this dish would be a five-star dish. The customer service was great, and my waitress was friendly and attentive. read more

I highly recommend this place. I was really surprised by what a good dinner I had here. I hadn't been to an Olive Garden in ages. This restaurant was really clean. Allie, the server, was excellent! The food was amazing. I also think it's pretty economical. You get really full. If you order an entree, you get unlimited salad and breadsticks or soups. The entrees were excellent. The salad was fresh. The hot marinara was really good. For dessert, I had the Sicilian cheesecake, and it was amazing. The coffee was so good. I'll admit, I go to this Olive Garden a lot and the experience hasn't always been good. However, as I've gone more frequently, I notice it becomes better and better each time! I went with my boyfriend for a date because I love Olive Garden, and the food came out fast, was deliciously cooked, and our waitress was amazing. She came over frequently to refill our drinks and ask us if everything was alright, and she was just overall kind! My boyfriend asked for breaded chicken on his pasta but got grilled chicken instead, and the waitress was so nice and apologetic about the mix-up, and got his food back to us very quickly. I also had a cute experience of the family next to us celebrating a birthday, and I listened to one of the little girls tell the waiter he was the best waiter ever. This Olive Garden has been keeping up lately and I will return frequently! read more

Last Sunday, for a late lunch I visited Olive Garden in Orange. I was seated quickly for a party of 3. I even knew the hostess so that was nice. I was greeted by my waitress and she wasted no time taking our complete order. Her name was Dajanae and she was amazing. Loved her attitude, she came to our table with a compliment and it really made it special. For the food though, I have a few disappointing things to say. The appetizer, stuffed Ziti Fritta was good as per usual. Though me and my grandmothers entree was not very good. Noodles were cold in certain places. The chicken though, was bad. When I was at the restaurant, I passed the chicken off as being maybe a different chicken they may be using now. When I home, beyond further inspection I notice the chicken was raw in certain parts. When I was eating it, it was tough and hard to chew. I have never had this happen in all the years I've been to this location. My sister's entree was good though, as she said. I saw the manager roaming at the end asking around how everyone was doing, but I wish I had more time to speak to him regarding the matter that is now apparent. The restaurant is clean, bathrooms too & they still have OG decor. I'm usually an Olive Garden lover but this visit has changed my perspective on a lot. Thank you Dajanae! read more

Olive Garden was very disappointing today. This server was great., But the food was awful. The salad was drowning in dressing and very soggy and my salmon was very greasy and tasted like a salt lick. I usually love salmon, but this was really awful. I do not think I will be going back anytime soon or ever if it is my choice. read more

Awful service from the host. Came in at 3pm on Father's Day with my kids. Place was relatively empty. Asked for a table 3 ft away that was close to the window with nice lighting. He said no as the section was closed. There was already a table occupied seemed odd to say that. 10 min later he started seating groups there. I asked why he didn't seat us and curtly replied that they are light on servers. At no time over 1.5 hours were there less then 6-7 ppl behind the host desk. Literally just standing there. I fully understand being short on staff. But being rude and in accommodating when overstaffed with individuals not doing anything is unacceptable. read more

I've been coming here for years! It's one of my favorite places to eat! Love the salad and bread sticks. The Alfredo dipping sauce makes the sticks even better! The first negative - this place has a terrible smell. I am not sure how to describe it but it does put you off. The hostess wanted to seat us on a table that was half table, the other part bench seating. It would have been a tight squeeze. When I asked for a booth, she was okay with it but thought a booth was too big for a group of four. We were squeezed even in this bigger seating arrangement. The appetizer was stuffed Ziti Fritatta - it was a ziti shell that was uncooked (very crunchy) deep fried. Skip this appetizer. Main course - I had the stuffed Chicken Marsala. The stuffing was similar to the piece of french bread you'd normally find on the top of French Onion Soup - it was in no way stuffing. The chicken was okay if it had been without the Marsala sauce. Yuck. The other dishes were lasagna, shrimp and chicken over pasta, and make your own pasta - yes, we should have stayed home and made our own. The waitress was most likely in training as she made every mistake possible including dropping food, utensils, and drinks on one of the party. She forgot to bring plates for the appetizers, the cheese for the food, the bill. The waiter with the cheese dropped the cheese grater on the floor - he left and never came back with the cheese. Again, most likely in training so it wouldn't be fair to rate either of them. The price is not cheap - high priced really - it is best to do research and go to a nicer place. If you can afford the prices here, you can afford a nicer place. read more

Curbside ordering and pick up was such a breeze. You don't need an app, you don't need to create an account or password. I went to the website, selected Curbside and location, picked my items and paid. Easy breezy. The sustainable packing of the food is great. Everything was packed neatly, nothing spilled, nothing was forgotten. We received cutlery, extra Romano cheese, dressing and even after dinner sweets. We were shopping down the block when I placed the order and the anticipated time for pick up was only a 20 min wait. The food was pretty good. I haven't been in years...I wouldn't mind going back. This was our first visit to Olive Garden in Orange, CT, and we didn't have high expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The food was quite good, especially the Zuppa Toscana I ordered. Our waitress, Aniyah, was polite and friendly, and the hostess/manager even came to our table to check if we were happy with our dining experience. Although we didn't complain, there was a family behind our booth whose children were kicking my seat. We understand that it's a family restaurant and didn't make a big deal out of it. The only downside was the wet floor in the restroom. we still had an enjoyable experience overall. read more

O.G aka Olive Garden, where do we begin? I will say this much, you are showing improvements and to me, that is important. I remember telling my Brother that I would never go back to an Olive Garden again and since that time; I was there twice in the past 5 years. Once with him, to see what changes he said you've made and then again to film this review for my Foodie Fam on YouTube. The timing with food was spot on and good overall. From the time I was seated until my dessert had arrived, I did not wait long during your lunch rush for anything and everything came out nice and hot but as for FRESH? Well, we will get there. The Chicken & Gnocchi was impressive. My first time having this soup and the flavors were working for me. Italian Dumplings were a nice soft touch, combined with the spinach that was cooked right; tender and thick chicken pieces along with a creamy river of happiness that flowed with ease, all turned this soup into a full on experience for the palate. Your garlic bread was fresh out of the oven (literally) - Crispy and Seasoned the way we have all come to love your Bread at O.G and so, no complaints here. My appetizer was your Classic Shrimp Scampi Fritta..........(inhale, exhale) and I will add all of the YES on this take for you got it right on the first try. No need for anymore rehearsals Ladies and Gents for the small yet crispy and fresh shrimp bites here, lightly breaded with a saucy flare of garlic and butter takes Scampi Sauce to a whole new level; should you be in search of it. With all of that said, we arrive at the MAIN COURSE......... Your Asiago Tortelloni Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and while my grilled chicken was EVERYTHING and a Wedding ring with a lovely bite, well prepared and grilled up for flavor but more so a nice blanket over a juicy chicken itself, the plate fell short with the pasta shells. Overcooked and dried out....Even a few turns in its cheese sauce was not enough to bring the pasta back to life and so I gave it a wonderful burial right at the table while eating away at the grilled chicken. read more

I am hesitant when it comes to one-star reviews because I feel businesses & staff are allowed to have an "off" day, but I have been to this Olive Garden several times and officially will not be coming back. Our table was covered in stains and stickiness, the ordering tablet broken and removed, the tables surrounding us piled with dirty dishes, and the carpets around us smelled strongly of mildew and vinegar. Service was super mediocre--server kept forgetting what we ordered, excessively interrupting us every few minutes just to "check in", told me I can't specify how I want my meat cooked because "it's not steak, it's beef..." I get my $19 pasta (beef gorgonzola fettuccine with sun dried tomatoes & spinach) only to find it's saturated with sweet balsamic vinegar and contains almost no spinach or tomatoes, just a few pieces of gross, oily cafeteria beef. My friend got the appetizer sampler and could not even eat the calamari which was slick with old-tasting oil. When the bill came, we were a bit surprised to find we were charged for the wine samples (this may be common knowledge to some but it would have been nice for her to mention it wasn't free) and for salad (again, we were under the impression this came with our meals). My long island iced tea was just short of $8 but was so light that it barely looked like tea and seemed to contain no alcohol at all...overall, very dismal experience--especially for the ~$30 I spent here for lunch. I rarely write one-star reviews. This restaurant is not a good representation of the Olive Garden brand. I'm traveling from out of town for work & decided to play it safe & stick with what I know, a chain restaurant. This Olive Garden had an extremely pungent smell of mildew. I'm unsure if it's the carpets, bathroom or their air conditioning not working but, it almost turned me away because the smell gravitates throughout the establishment. I ordered fried mozzarella sticks & they were very greasy, not presented very well. For my entree, I ordered chicken piccata. I got burnt chicken topped with a weird cream sauce & MASHED POTATOES. No pasta... I will not be back or recommend this specific restaurant again. read more

My sister and I came here for the first time in September as I had received a gift card from my daughter and thought I'd use it. I was pleased to see the place was very clean and the girl who sat us was lovely. I was so glad with all that is going around (Covid, etc)...that the seating wasn't cramped and the booth was large and comfortable. I didn't even have to listen to any other tables conversation . Some things we have had and really enjoyed were the Chicken and Gnocchi soup, stuffed shells, chicken tortellini Alfredo,the steak, and broccoli and the desserts have been varied and delicious and rich so we have shared when we had one. Do we recommend it? We don't go out a lot but have been back four times and are due again soon so YES we recommend it! read more

I came for a dinner with family, On a Friday evening we were seated immediately. The staff: the staff are sweet. they really are. but they project that they are constantly overwhelmed. Hearing "I'm so sorry it took so long to get to you..." the first two times is fine, We get it. No one is yelling at anyone, but hearing it repeatedly is not a good sign. Its like apologizing in advance for the service you are about to receive. Another waitress dropped an entire tray, which of course is embarrassing, but a simple apology and quick cleanup is all that's necessary. It's ok, calm down. She was apologizing over and over again-and our waitress again I'm sorry I forgot this, I am sorry it took so long, I'm sorry i'll get you a new knife. It ok, just take your time and get it right. Time: Service was slow. If it was slow and good, I'd shut up. It was just slow; we ordered drinks first which took a while to come out, then she took our meals, then the salad and bread took a while longer to come out. She switched out a drink for my friend because of a misunderstanding. The baby got her juice. Then our meals came out except for the babies spaghetti. then the spaghetti, then her second cup of juice, and then the baby's straw some time later. The food: People really love the food here. Personally, I thought it was pretty bland. My friend got the chicken and shrimp Carbonara. She loves that meal-loves it. She said her meal was good. I thought her chicken was bland. I ordered a "lighter" dish; shrimp Scampi. The 'Mediterranean' dish of about 500 -600 cals. Heres my thought. 1. i was deciding between the shrimp and the salmon and zucchini. I regret ordering the shrimp. I got about 7 shrimp and a TON of pasta. I am so surprised by the amount of pasta. As someone that cooks at home, and portions food, it seemed like alot more than 600 cals. The shrimp was good, just scant -put it this way: I can go to stop and shop and buy a decent sized bag of shrimp for 15-25 dollars..the cost of my meal. Needless to say I was slightly annoyed. I think beyond anything else this is what bothered me. I know, its an Italian restaurant, of course theres tons of pasta, blah blah. I'm not arguing that, just arguing that I have doubts on the advertised calorie/portion match up and the number of shrimp in my plate I will be back for the sole purpose of trying their salmon and zucchini. Beyond that, I am about ready to say that Olive Garden is a place I can live live without revisiting. I didn't even pay for the meal. It's like, free food, and still, yet the only word I can think of to describe the experience is "disappointing". read more
