We got the basil chicken (level 4) and cashew chicken (level 3) and they were both great! But holy f*** they do not mess around with the spice!! A lot of places I have been do not make their spice levels accurate but these are definitely accurate!! Level 3 was still too hot for me so if you're not good with spice probably stick to level 1-2. Flavors were great though!! My sister loves spice and liked the level 4. We ordered online and picked up in store. This is a tasty treat of a place down in Woodmont! I have wanted to try this diamond for awhile now so was excited when a friend suggested we have lunch there today on their beautiful patio. We shared a yummy order of Spring Rolls to start. My friend got the Pad Thai which she enjoyed but said was sweeter than she'd had in the past. My Pad See Ew was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. The portions were huge! Perfect for a bonus lunch tomorrow! Our table neighbors ordered a delicious smelling dessert, which caused us to order the delectable Fried Banana with Ice Cream! This is a new restaurant in Milford. Six of us ordered dinner for delivery tonight (no one wanted to cook!). Food order was complete and on time. Fried dumplings were nice and crispy. Soups were hot and spicy. Entrees were appropriately spiced, tasty, and plentiful. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered: salmon pad Thai; pork fried rice; coconut rice; minced chicken; drunken noodle. Food was absolutely incredible. Definitely get the Pad Thai September if you go! We also loved the Saigon rolls... so crispy and came with 6 which was a nice portion. The service was good, a bit slow on the drinks... we got our apps before the drinks which isn't preferred. It's also very dark in there which I loved! But be aware you may fall asleep lol. BEWARE IF YOU SEND A BAD DISH BACK THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT, plus the replacement meal! Normally this is an excellent restaurant, I WAS a regular paying customer but I've never been so disheartened and disrespected at an establishment before. We loved this place but tonight something was off, we wound up sending back an entree and a dessert both were so terrible. When the check came the owner decided to CHARGE ME 50% of the two dishes that I did not eat and sent back. I refused to pay for poorly cooked meals that I didn't even touch. The owner than came out and began loudly fighting with me in front of my children and other customers to pay for not only the meals sent back but for the replacement meal as well! They lost us as customers I will never go back there again unfortunately unless they apologize for the rude behavior. read more

Fairly average Thai food. Owners and staff are very nice, so that pushes it to 4 stars. But food is very much 3 stars. Noodle dishes are just too oily, and sometimes the curries can be a little soupy. Patio is nice place to be as always, but the lights are a bit bright at night. Been wanting to try Bangkok Room after they took the spot over from Oar and Oak when they shut down. I typically order takeout for Thai food but this time I went in person to get the best experience possible. This spot is BYOB so if you're looking to have drinks, make sure you bring them. For starters I ordered the Thai Sampler. This was a plate that came with a bunch of different apps from fresh cut rolls to chicken satay. Everything was to perfection and had great flavor. I also ordered the Tom Ka Gai soup and it was probably my favorite thing I ordered. It had the perfect balance of being sweet and savory and it packed a lot of punch. For my main, I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with Pork. The basil was fresh and all the elements of the dish came together beautifully. I'm so glad I tried this spot. It's definitely going to replace the spot I use to go to on a regular basis. read more

Tried this new Thai spot in Woodmont and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was extremely friendly, the cook even came out and introduced herself. We started with the crab Rangoon and edamame, both came out quickly and were hot and delicious. For our entrees we went with the red curry with chicken and the drunken noodles. For both you could choose from a 5 tier spice level but the staff was knowledgeable on what is preferred for each. The entrees were equally delicious! This place is also BYOB which is great plus. The menu is extensive so we are excited to come back and try more! read more

Came here for dinner. Nice location but parking is difficult. I had chicken satay and chicken fried rice. Both were very good although I didn't get the sweet sauce with my satay, only peanut sauce. The fried rice was a nice size portion. Service is very good and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. The only negative here is they don't seem to have air conditioning or at least it was not on and it was a very humid evening. Indoor seating is somewhat limited. I would recommend trying it out, I'll be back. read more

The food was outstanding, ordered the fried pork dumplings, veggie pancake , I had a spicy shrimp soup that was ridiculous. My date had a cashew stir fry such was also delicious. Parking is difficult, but we found a spot and really looked forward to trying this with all the great reviews. We ordered dumpling to start which were very tasty. The entrees, however, left a lot to be desired. I ordered a soft shell crab dish which was supposed to have two crabs. The crabs were chopped bite sized and tasty, but there is no way there were two, not even if they were exceptionally small. My dining partner ordered a duck dish which was inedible--only fat and cooked beyond recognition. In the restaurant's favor, they didn't charge us for that dish and my friend ordered another order of dumplings. Will certainly not be going back. read more

We have been anxiously waiting for this new restaurant to open and it was totally worth the wait. While the interior is small, its clean and tidy with a few rows of tall long tables. I can see there will be more seating in the summer on their deck. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were a party of 4 dining in. They accommodated a food allergy with absolutely no compromise to taste. Plenty of vegetarian and meat dishes. All of the meat dishes were perfectly tender. The food is bright, well seasoned, and fresh. Another plus is the choice of white or brown rice. We placed quite a large order so we could really give an honest review. What did we try? The Thai Spice Sampler, Beef Satay, Tamarin Duck with the edges of the duck delightfully crispy, an amazingly flavorful ground Chicken Larb, the Garlic Eggplant and Asparagus was stellar, Red Curry with Shrimp is a winner, Drunken Noodles holy cow! Probably the best I have ever had, Pad Thai with Chicken and finally Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp. We did not order the Seafood Madness but I took a photo of someone else's order. I need to try that next time around. It was a gorgeous looking dish. So glad to try so many dishes. The leftovers were just as tasty the day after. Oh! and how lucky for me, I can walk there just at the end of our street on the corner where Merwin Ave. Edgefield and Hillside meet. Tasty but perhaps a bit pricey Thai cuisine. My only complaint is that the portion size, at least of my recent Pad Thai takeout order, seemed to have shrunk noticeably since they reopened a few weeks ago. It was disappointing but hopefully just a one-off occurrence. I'll know better following a future order. read more

Waiting for this new kid on the busy Merwin Ave, Edgefield, Hillside, Seabreeze block seemed forever! This business with the outside porch and umbrellas sit waiting for some spring temperatures. Also, if you have been waiting for some exciting and quality food, it has arrived. Bangkok Room is waiting to be discovered. My table ordered Drunkin Noodles and a Tofu Korean cabbage dish with brocolli and peanut sauce. Our appetizer was a veggie pancake the likes never seen before! Delicious. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The menu has many veggie only dishes, my choice, so you must come and try the seafood and others. The large green tea was delicious. The dining room is bright with a row of chairs for takeout. The lone waiter was charming and offered to adopt anything to our tastes, very hot and spicy! I can't wait to go again. read more
