I have lived in Milford my whole life but never ventured over to the Woodmont part of town for food. I recently moved and am now right down the road from this deli and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! I got a hot chicken cutlet sandwich pressed on a wheat wrap with American cheese, mayo, lettuce and roasted red peppers. Top 5 sandwiches I've ever had! Highly recommend!! read more

Im going to start right away by saying that I had one of the best corn beef Rueben I've ever had! It was cheesy and perfectly moist, melted in my mouth. The corned beef wasn't chewy or anything. I dislike when you take a bite of a rueben and half the corned beef comes out and burns your chin. Not this one! I'm sad because waters edge is literally 2 min from me and I never knew how good it was. Better late than never tho! Can't wait to go back and try more things. read more

I would do 2.5 stars if I could. Definitely no more than a 3-star meal. We ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll, and a grilled wrap with grilled chicken American cheese, jalapeños, LTM (I also asked for avocado but they said they do not carry avocados) The bacon egg and cheese was soggy when I picked it up and the roll it was on was hardly a hard roll. Didn't seem fresh. The wrap was not even grilled. It was a very short wrap stuffed with raw jalapeños (I should've asked if they were raw or the ones in the jar) and the grilled chicken tastes overpowered by pepper or whatever seasoning they sprinkle on it and also does not seem like fresh grilled chicken. After finishing the bacon egg and cheese and eating 75% of the wrap (after picking the raw jalapeños off) my wife and I were overall not satisfied and hungry for something else. read more

This is walking distance for me in new home.Boy an I glad to find it. At first, driving past, I wasn't sure they were open and a good place to go. Our neighbor sent my husband there one day and man oh man...was he happy with his sandwich. He already has a favorite there. He also has breakfast sandwich there too that he liked and brought home the home fires that were delicious. I asked for a simple grilled cheese and they did not disappoint. I know why my husband likes the roast beef sandwich he gets...its full of meat! This will definitely be our new place for sandwiches for both lunch and breakfast. Rolls were not fresh,lazy cooks,can't even spread out the bacon on a sandwich, clumped up to one side, order well done home fries and I think they purposely give you under cooked ones. read more

This is my favorite saturday treat. I LOVE the CRAN MAN with a side of cole slaw to cool down my mouth after every bite of that delicious roast beef,bacon,frizzled onions, jack cheese and chipolte mayo. Perfect combination. The guys behind the counter are so warm and welcoming, even if i dont go in for weeks they still remember my order. "crann man with coleslaw". Every sandwich is creative and just different enough from every other deli that makes it worth the drive from norwalk to milford(45) mins on saturday to get lunch. My boyfriend loves the godfather, the itialian combo and the chicken salad on a sub. Personally i think the bread makes the whole sandwich. Amazing :) read more

Awesome deli in the area. They have a lot of original sandwiches, salads, and melts on the menu but you can dial up the classics as well. There's no formal website but the menu can easily be found online at a couple different sites (takeouttonight, zomato, etc.). My favorites are the buffalo chicken salad on a sub, the Husky, and the reuben. Or better yet, throw a scoop of buffalo chicken salad on a salad to take it to the next level. The croutons on the salad are out of this world, I think they might make them on site. Check it out. read more

I've read a lot of great reviews but I have to say, not a fan at all. Not that I'm complaining about their low prices, but I needed a $15 order for delivery and between 3 people, it actually came out to be a lot of food. Not worth it, though. I was very clear when I said (more than once) "no cheese on the bacon and egg sandwich" and they put cheese on there anyway. The home fries were not good at all, they were very over powered by a lot of onion. I ordered a salad and it was literally a box of baby spinach, with three tomato wedges and 2 slices of cucumber. Been here a few times and have has nothing but great sandwiches. On one occasion, they had a chance to really fail, but came through in the pinch. Ordered during a rather hectic lunch hour. Wait for my order for a while and was starting to wonder where my food was. Guy behind the register asks what I ordered. I tell him and come to find out they had misplaced the order. Can't be beat - Best shoreline deli along this shoreline! Friendly staff, good prices - but the sandwiches are above the rest. Their sub rolls / bread are so good I could just eat that for lunch! Have been here dozens of times (work close by) and have tried many sandwiches for lunch. The chicken salad - made in the deli - has large, tender pieces of white breast meat - not smothered in mayo or dressing just enough. The Godfather looks like you should share it, but once you take a bite you can't help but finish - a great Italian sub by the beach in Milford, CT! We've eaten here many times. The breakfast sandwiches are always generous in size and delicious with just the right flavor combos. Nothing boring (unless you want it that way). Quality and excellent service are also consistent. We've also ordered their catering many times - spinach salad full tray, which comes with heaping portions of toppings and their homemade honey mustard (on the side) - no skimping! People always ask if I made it myself. I have to tell the truth and refer them. But the biggest test was catering for a loved one's funeral lunch - various wraps and their awesome spinach salad. Ordering with James was easy. It was ready on time and beautifully prepared - the presentation of all the food ordered was top notch. More importantly, it was delicious.
