My family was dining at the restuaurant tonight about 5:30 and overheard a very disgruntled man berating the hostess.I understood he had 17 people in his party and was very upset because she did not set the tables correctly "according to his reservations". She tried to explain to him. He continued to follow her and kept complaining. She got the manager who tried to apease his displeasure without much luck. We got up to leave and I wanted to congratulate Flora for her grace under fire in treating the man with respect and following protocol for this situation. We go here often and always get the baked ziti and for some reason this past Sunday that baked ziti was not very good. I actually took it home and now it's in the trash. I don't know what happened. Did they change it? I don't know, but it was not good at all. read more

Well, let's start off by saying that the hosts were not very attentive to the people that were waiting to be seated. We arrived at 3:30p to avoid the rush and were told it would take 5 minutes. This was not the case. We were seated 30 minutes later. Come to find out that our name was never added to the list. Our waitress, Judy,I believe was outstanding-A godsend. She was so kind to our needs. She made our visit worth coming back. The customer service experience she practiced was far above what we expected. I went here with my family, our server was Julianne, she was incredibly rude, was hateful to my elderly grandmother who is hard of hearing, overall she just had an attitude problem. We saw her maybe twice the whole time we were sitting. She seemed very out of it and not present when she was helping us. Had many good experiences at Olive Garden. This was not one My server Chris was not attentive and had dirty silverware. Not a big deal but it got worse. Hostess disparaged me when I asked for silverware that didn't have dried food on it Then she brought me plastic silverware to disrespect me. I know Olive Garden isn't the most favorite among some people I have met, but in my personal opinion and as a soup lover I love Olive Garden's Pasta Fagioli, soups salad and breadsticks deal. First of all, what's so great about the soups, salad, and breadsticks deal is that you get infinite refills on your soup, salad, and breadsticks! Free of charge! Second of all, the service at Olive Garden never ceases to amaze me, almost every single time I have ever gone there there have been incredibly talented waiters and waitresses that are all dedicated to their jobs. Next, their strawberry lemonade is some of the best, it's so sweet and makes my mouth water every time I have it. This was your standard Olive Garden with the standard menu. If you have eaten in one, there are no surprises when you go to the next one. What makes the difference is the service. We had a great server who gave us just enough attention and was enthusiastic. Joined the waitlist on Mother's Day and it showed a 10 minute wait. When we arrived at the restaurant we went to check in and were told they were not doing a waitlist today even though we signed up for it. Was told they couldn't turn it off but were ignoring it because of the holiday. The whole point of a waitlist is for when you are busy. If you don't want to use it, that's fine but don't lead people to believe you are only to pull the rug out from them later. Poor management makes me question this location. read more

Update from the last review. The quality and service have definitely not been up to snuff lately. Waited over one hour to pick up an online order only to be told that they didn't bother to verify the orders (and yes, I understand being slammed), and that they gave away our order. Again, I understand being swamped and trying to keep up, but it only takes a moment to verify orders before moving them to the customer and based on other reviews, this is not being done and the wait time is off. We had came for an early supper at 3pm on a Sunday. They were quite busy with a steady stream of customers. We were agreeable to wait. They texted when our table was ready. Once seated, we enjoyed our entrees with the complimentary bread sticks and salad. Ordered the "new on menu" $3.99 Endless dipping sauce (choice of marinara, Alfredo or cheese marinara). Delicious. I am pregnant and crave olive gardens Alfredo, which means we come here every Friday. This location is 15 minutes closer to us than the Fayetteville location, but we purposefully drive out of our way to Fayetteville every time. I always put us on the list and come in to an insane wait time, this past time the wait was 2 1/2 hours! I was shocked and we left, have no plans of returning. 1/2 the restaurant wasn't sat and I can only assume that is due to poor management and lack of staff. The last time we were there was the worst experience, we had a waitress that ignored us 90% of the time. We sat for at least 45+ additional/unneeded minutes between trying to order and trying to check out (our table machine was dead). No wonder the wait times are so long! We stopped in after a long line at the Polls. We sat immediately at the bar. The bartender was very busy and always apologizing if our glasses were empty. We ordered soup instead of salad and she said it was very popular today, when we got it, we were disappointed because it was just liquid, no potatoes or sausage. She let us know that there was more cooking, but our food arrived so she offered us a bowl to go! We were very happy with that and when we got home it was loaded with the good stuff. The server we had was very rude and not friendly or helpful at all. She would talk to the tables beside us, and then all but ignored us. One of our kids spilled some water and it was another hostess/server that helped us. At one point she asked the table next to us if they wanted more breadsticks, and when they declined, she walked by and plopped the basket on our table without saying a word to us.
