He assured me they could do it. Showed up and the dress hadn't been touched! AGAIN. Now it's Saturday, I have to leave for the wedding in one hour and I have no dress. I'm also pregnant and can't just run into the store and pick one up real quick. Just don't come here. I decided to try Jack Brown Cleaners, and I liked that it is conveniently located in the HEB plaza. I brought in three men's long‑sleeve shirts, two white and one print. My husband always prefers extra starch. When I asked about having the collars treated, the response was surprisingly indifferent. The counter person said, "They will do what they do." I learned the items are sent offsite to San Antonio, so I was not sure what to expect. To my surprise, the shirts were ready the next day. They were cleaned and starched. When I asked again about the collar treatment, the counter person mentioned he was the one who sprays the treatment and that I could look at the shirts, but it is what it is. Aside from the strange interaction and the unclear approach to collar care, the speed, price, and location make this a cleaner I would return to.

Pants are always heavy starched for work. picked them up and they were pressed only. Not a big deal. Called comet to explain and asked if I could bring them back so they can be heavy starched. The lady insisted that's how my wife told them to do it. My wife said that wasn't the case but regardless of the misunderstanding I wanted to bring them back so they could be done how the notes are on file. Got a call back minute later by a different lady and she was upset and being confrontational about that's what your wife said to do. It got to a point quickly I asked if it's that big of a deal should I just go somewhere else and she said yes that be best. It's obvious she is having a bad day I get it but hope she reads this and provides better service going forward. Don't think what I was asking was unreasonable and people do have misunderstandings but she wouldn't let it go. First comment I've ever left so that should say something to you if you read it.
