Having never had a spray tan before, Brigette walked me through each step of her process while also chatting with me to make me as comfortable as possible. Any nervousness I had was immediately calmed by her friendly demeanor. Having a full body spray as my first experience was a little daunting, but Brigette created a judgement free environment that I immediately felt comfortable in. Before the session began, when I brought up my sensative skin, she listed all ingredients in the tanning solution, then later assured me that the cleansing spray and powder were both organic. I wasn't impressed with my tan, just found my legs to be missed in spots and a bit uneven, and I found it didn't hold up as long as it did last time. We were thrilled to come in for our tan, but the provider could not have been more uninterested in having us there. It was as if we were bothering her by coming for an appointment and spending $120 dollars. Not even a hi, how are you. She gave turn directions, and that was it. This is a great place. The spray tan is organic and chemical free. You can choose your scent. I chose "coconut" and it was not over powering. It was my 1st time getting a spray tan for a wedding event. The owner "Monika" explained the whole process clearly. It was very comfortable environment. My tan looks natural and I have a fresh glow. I've had MANY spray tans and they didn't offer they sticky cardboard feet and they wiped off some of the solution after with a washcloth, which I thought was odd. Came here a day before I flew out to Mexico. The place is small but very efficient. The owner is lovely - she went over everything that I needed to know about my spray tan. She didn't miss a spot and was sure to blow dry (and powder) my body before I left. By the time I got to Mexico I had a delicious tan. This is my first review of a non-restaurant so that is already saying something. I didn't know what I was missing when it comes to a spray tan until I came here. It was too difficult booking an appointment at the place that I had previously gone to and they weren't being friendly or accommodating on the phone so I took to yelp to find somewhere else. Olive Organic was the first place that popped up with 5 stars so I decided to give it a try. It was a complete 180 from the 1st place. The first place was a regular tanning salon where the girl brought me into a bathroom with a backdrop to spray me. After the spray, I noticed blotches under my arms from when the girl had me raising and lowering my arms, and when I asked about them the girl told me to "scrub hard." At Olive Organic the experience was much more professional. Since they are only organic airbrush tanning, they had nicely decorated individual rooms. I got to pick the scent of the spray too! Besides just spraying me, I got blow dried, dabbed, and powdered (such a difference from the first place). The lady was really nice and gave me a bunch of tips for aftercare. The result was a natural looking tan with no blotches! I've already received compliments and will definitely return!! read more

This was my second time going to Olive. I arrived 30 min early to my appointment (thought traffic would have been heavier during rush hour) and they we are to accommodate me early. This time I used Kim. I explained to her that my last tan a was a little to dark in the face area, and she said she was able to make it so it want this time. During the process, Kim was very professional, personable and did a great job! Being what I noticed as a very detailed oriented person, Kim made sure she covered every spot and made sure that I was happy with the end result. She did mention that they save some type of tan numbering in their computers so that when you go back if it was too dark or too light they know what was used last and can adjust accordingly. I would definitely recommend Olive to anyone looking for this type of service. They are priced decently, and worth every penny. read more

I had my first spray tan here yesterday by Annette. I have done Mystic Tan and Versa Spa and was satisfied with the results, but hoped that a personalized airbrush tan would look more natural and flawless. I booked an appt. online for Olive after reading Yelp. When I arrived, Annette was bubbly and friendly and filled me in on the process, as well as asked me some questions about my desired tan. The space is very relaxing and private, so I felt totally comfortable. We decided on a medium tan. We then went into a smaller room where I changed into my underwear (you can wear nothing, if desired). She sprayed me in a few different positions and dried me with a hairdryer. She also used a brush and powder to prepare areas that tend to sweat. It cost $48 and went quickly. It has been 19 hours since my spray (tan takes 6-8 to develop, 24 for max results) and I love the color. My legs, stomach, arms and back look beautifully bronzed -- not orange. Great news: none of the tan came off on my white sheets! The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is my wrists/sides of my hands -- for some reason they are darker brown and splotchy. I also wish I asked for my face to be sprayed an extra time or two. Right now, it is much lighter than my body even though I haven't washed either. I prefer my face to be very tan because then I can skimp on my makeup! However, with a bit of bronzer, I'm sure it'll match up. Overall, it was a fun and luxurious experience. I had never been spray tanning before, but decided to get one on the way to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I was in. (Note: maybe not the best idea.) I am a fair skinned woman that had some bad tan lines I was hoping to cover, so we did medium. I think it was a bit dark for me until the second day, but I was very happy with the glow and coverage I received. It also smelled pleasant and did not feel sticky or uncomfortable. Agnes was so lovely to work with- she was quick and also took the time to explain why we were doing certain things. I was so nervous...and shy because I never had a spray tan before. Monika is friendly, wonderful, and very professional! She explained everything perfectly and answered all of my questions (i was so nervous- so I asked a ton!). When I was about to leave it started pouring out...and she drove me to my car so my new tan wouldn't get ruined. It was so sweet of her to do that for me! About the tan: I have a light skin tone, and had sun poisoning on my face several times. I was soooo scared of turning orange,especially on my face. The tan that I walked out with...was gorgeous...my skin had a natural glow! I recieved so many compliments..even weeks after. No streaks/blotches.. no horrible chemical smells (you get to pick your own scent)...great experience! Also when the tan started to fade -it was very gradual and natural. I tell everyone I know - if they need a spray tan to go to Olive! (Plus its organic- can't get any better than that!) Wonderful customer service and amazing natural looking tan! When I called in and spoke to the owner Monica and explained it would be my first spray tan & that I was going for something natural for engagement pictures, she explained everything from start to finish! She also was extremely accommodating and came in on Sunday evening to do a full body spray tan on myself and a face spray tan on my fiance. Was really happy with the outcome of the color of the spray tan. No orangeness, no mess on my clothing or sheets, waited about 14 hours to take a shower (overnight) and my color still looked great. Got my first ever spray tan 2 hours ago, so far I LOVE it!! I'm very pale and wanted a natural look for my wedding this weekend, the lady who worked there was very understanding and chose a shade so I would have a nice glow and not look fake. Highly recommend! I have been to this salon 3 times now and each tan looked beautiful and lasted much longer than anticipated, over a week in fact. There is no "tanner" smell and the spray was very even. I'm extremely particular about the types of products I use on my body because I have extremely sensitive skin and this product did not irritate at all. No splotches and my hands are not overdone which tends to happen with me (make sure you use the lotion to put on hands) You're given the lotion to put on dry spots as well which helps. What a great place! It was my first spray tan experience and it was just phenomenal. Let me start by saying I recently moved to NJ from the Midwest and am used to my pale skin. When I arrived here I saw everyone was very tan and wanted to give tanning a try before a vacation. I was so nervous because I didn't want to be "Jersey Shore" orange. I am relieved to say that I do look tan but it's definitely more brown/golden than orange in tint and very natural. The lady doing my tan (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was the nicest and friendliest person I've spoken to since arriving in NJ! She explained the instructions to this first-timer, put my shyness at ease, and was so meticulous and careful my tan turned out great. WOW! All I can say! I just came back from my appointment with Agnes and she was amazing!!! SO nice and friendly!!! I can honestly say that their salon takes the time and prides themselves in making sure the customer is happy, which is what I feel a lot of places lack nowadays. I have done Mystic Booth spray tans and other spray tans at local salons and I end up looking like I left Willy Wonka's candy land or from another race. I love that I feel confident with this spray tan! I got the light color. Agnes took the time to listen to the look I wanted and knew what to do. She took the time to spray me and it was a little chilly so she used the blow drier to make it warmer on my skin. Agnes also make sure all parts of my body were covered and not missed. The spray tan smelled nice and I love that it isn't made from chemicals and is organic!! I also love that I can look at myself in the mirror and not look like a completely different person.
