Came here for a birthday celebration, accommodated us to patio seating right away, server was amazing, and food was great. I've been wanting to try this spot for years and definitely don't regret it! Btw feta fries are where it's at! The rocka salad is to dieeee for and works as a great side for steak, if you like acidity, get it! The way the apples and pumpkin seeds, and red onions marry together was divine! Also the zucchini chips sauce that it comes with good lord idk what it is but it was delicious !

A little tricky to find parking on a Friday night. We called ahead to see if we could be added to a waitlist, but we were told that they do not have one. I also noted before that they do not accept reservations either unless it's a larger party. However, the wait only ended up being about ten minutes after we were told fifteen-twenty. We had grilled chicken and steak kabobs and both were great. The rice and fries as well. I also tried the avgolemono soup. It needed more richness but it was still good. Margaritas did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm definitely coming back.

Can you reach nirvana with a burger? After trying the lamb burger at Olive Pit Grill, I'm convinced you can. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, this burger was absolutely to die for. On a whim, I asked our server what I should pair it with, and he recommended the Hazy Little Thing IPA. I have to give him credit--it was the perfect pairing and took the whole meal to the next level. The service was just as memorable as the food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely steered us in the right direction with his recommendation. If you're a burger lover, do yourself a favor and order the lamb burger... and don't skip the Hazy Little Thing IPA alongside it. You can thank me later.

The Olive pit is a local favorite when I'm in Brea. Girls shopping day ended with an early dinner here. My favorite is the grilled chicken entree with basmati rice and Mediterranean salad. Ordered a side of hummus for the table. The service was good, food came to the table at a reasonable time, refills were offered. We waiting a bit for the check and to request boxes a while after we were done eating. None the less, we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back.

This Greek spot in Orange County has decent Mediterranean cuisine. The dolmades are alright, but the sauce could be better. The spanakopita is mediocre, not remotely as good as what our family makes at home. But the Feta Fries are incredible! That's my best recommendation here! The lamb dishes and various kabobs are also pretty good. The restaurant is in a great location in the heart of downtown Brea, and the service is excellent! But the Olive Pit isn't going to wow you as much as some of the best Greek restaurants in SoCal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area indefinitely my favorite Greek restaurant. I have a tendency to always order the same thing. Here my go to is usually the lamb Jairo or the lamb chops but lately I've been trying to try different things. I am happy I chose to do this as I have found items that I have loved that I just hadn't tried. I had this year tuna one day and it was really good. It was perfectly cooked and it had a good sauce but the one item that I was honestly surprised was the half roasted chicken. I tend not to order chicken at restaurants because I am worried that the chicken will be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was really good and I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to switch dishes, but I absolutely did not allow him to. The chicken was just very juicy and tender. For the sides, I used to always get hummus, but I didn't know that they had an eggplant dip similar to baba ghanoush. Now that I have tried it, it is my go to. You can really taste a roasted eggplant in there and the texture is similar to hummus. My other go to side are the artichoke hearts because they are so big they are roasted and it's a good portion. Overall this remains to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I will be back.

I have been to the Olive Pit Grill in Brea over five times and every time it's wonderful. A friend and I meet here to catch up and a it's a great lunch or dinner spot to eat and chat. I see a lot of people gathering in groups for parties as well. On the weekends we meet between opening and 1PM and have always been seated right away. They have indoor and outdoor seating options available. There is a free parking garage right behind the building so no issue ever finding parking. Our favorite food is starting with feta fries which we share as an appetizer and I like to dip mine in the garlic spread. Some people might find the garlic spread too strong but for me it's the perfect amount of pure garlicky goodness. The most recent time we went, I got the chicken entree with basmati rice and roasted mushrooms for my sides. I had never tried their roasted mushrooms before but I will definitely be ordering them again. In terms of service, our waitress had refill drinks brought out before we even asked and she made sure to check if we wanted the sauces that came on our dishes on the side which I appreciated! Overall, I always have a lovely experience here and wish I could frequent the Olive Pit more often.

Although the Olive Pit is in busy Downtown Brea, there's a parking structure right behind the restaurant, so parking is a breeze. They have a very nice patio area as well as spacious and stylish indoor seating. It was a bit windy today, so we chose to sit inside. There are both tables and half table half booth seating, and the booths are very homey and comfortable in that the backs are lined with an assortment of throw pillows. Our server today, Chris, was one of the best servers we've had in a while. He didn't make us feel rushed, checked on us regularly, was very personable, and just had a great sense of humor. My friend ordered the margarita flat bread and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were generous without being too heavy to weigh down the crust. I had the lamb gyro wrap and upgraded to feta fries for my side. The feta fries had a very generous amount of cheese and was really good. The lamb and veggies in the wrap were nicely proportioned, but it could have used more of a dressing or spread to tie it together better. It was an enjoyable visit thanks to Chris. The food was filling, so we didn't have room for dessert, but I have my eye on the baklava ice cream when we return!

I visited Olive Pit Grill in downtown Brea with two friends because we wanted a healthy meal. The three of us ordered Dolmades, a Margherita pizza, grilled chicken kabobs, and a sirloin steak kabob. Everything was delicious; I especially enjoyed the Dolmades, which I was trying for the first time. For dessert, we had Greek yogurt mixed with nuts and honey, which was a perfect way to finish the meal.

This place has changed from my last visit; it is now a sit down restaurant with great atmosphere! Super clean. Outdoor seating is available. Friendly and attentive service I'm sure it gets busy on the weekend.Parking garage is located behind the restaurant. We got our food rather quickly. Everything was delicious. I do prefer the chicken kabobs over the steak kabobs; the chicken was more tender. Definitely coming back!

Brought our relatives her for lunch. Short walk from the parking lot to the entrance. Dining area was clean, bright and welcoming. Decor is very modern with nice throw pillows on the bench seatings. My wife and her sister said it was very comfortable. Service was excellent and very helpful and friendly. We shared an appetizer of fried zucchini which was served hot and was delicious. I ordered the sirloin steak plate with basmati rice and fried artichoke hearts. My wife ordered the steak kabob with sides of Mediterranean salad and grilled vegetables. We also ordered a falafel ala carte. Their falafel is soft on the inside and yummy. Our other guests loved their kabob plates and the meals were very filling too.

This is one of my family's favorite places to dine! Food is always delicious and freshly made! This time around, we ordered most of our dishes from the Happy Hour Menu. Service is also excellent! Parking is available in the structure right behind the restaurant. Most of the time you'll have to go up to the second or third levels due to people going to the UFC Gym right next to the Olive Pit.

Bottom Line Up Front: If you like Greek food but don't want…read moreto pay big bucks at an traditional sit-down restaurant, Apola can be your yummy, budget-friendly alternative. The Food: Let me start by saying this is clearly an American take on Greek food, so if you're looking for super authentic food, look elsewhere. But if you're OK with a fusion, Apola will satisfy your Mediterranean craving. There are gyros (pita wraps), bowls, combo plates, and burritos (see, there's that American take I was talking about). All of them range in quality from average to really good. Though I've been here several times, I'll focus on my last visit when we got "the Works" pita wrap and a Greek salad bowl. For the Works, it comes with all the fixings, your choice of protein, and fries stuffed inside (yes, inside, not as a side). I chose beef-and-lamb gyro meat, which came in a huge portion. (Pro Tip: I pulled the fries out and got a "free" side. Of course , there's not a lot of fries, but enough to satisfy my fried food craving.) The gyro was big and tasty. For the Greek salad bowl, we also got beef-and-lamb gyro meat. Once again, they hooked it up with the quantity. Nice! The ingredients (tomatoes, cucumber, feta, etc) were all fresh and seasoned nicely. Side note: I do find it odd that they call this dish a salad bowl when it comes in a rectangular plastic tray. But semantics aside, it was quite good. I also ordered a fountain drink and got a Coke. It was nice a crisp with a lot of carbonation. Just the way I like it. It's not as good as the exclusive Coke blend at McDonald's, but was a close second. I have had some pretty watered down Cokes at other places in recent years. The Service: There were two young gentlemen working the last time I visited, and they were both friendly and knowledgeable. They even brought our meals to our table, which was a nice touch for a fast food establishment. The Setting: It's located inside the recently revamped Yorba Linda Downtown, which has revitalized the area and made it a pleasant place to hang out. Unfortunately, on weekends, it's hard to find parking sometimes. Fortunately we came on a weekday and got parking nearby. Inside, Apola is clean and tidy with roughly enough tables and chairs for a variety of party sizes. The Conclusion: Apola offers good Mediterranean-inspired food for a reasonable price (compared to other restaurants these days) -- just don't expect it to be 100% authentic Greek food. It's not perfect and not super cheap, but with the right expectations set, I plan to return on semi-regular basis.
