    Beef koobideh kabob (one skewer)

I went with family at noon on a weekend, and the wait was thankfully only a few minutes given that this is a small restaurant. We decided to share both the charbroiled chicken shish kabob ($19.99) and the fresh Atlantic salmon kabob ($22.99). Each kabob entree comes with salad and rice. We chose a variety: romaine avocado salad, Mediterranean Greek salad, basmati rice, and bulgur pilaf (a nutty cracked wheat simmered usually with tomato paste). The salmon was my favorite kabob because it was juicy and flavorful. However, we only got five chunks, which is unfortunately not a good portion size for a dish costing more than $20. The chicken had a great smoky flavor with some char, but the meat didn't feel as tender as I hoped. We decided to try bulgur pilaf for the first time, and it tasted better than the basmati rice because it was simmered in a tomatoey broth. Service was good, and there was a moderate amount of waiting for food. Our server refilled waters and was friendly with other customers. Looking back, we thought that both kabobs didn't have much meat because the entree includes a salad. Perhaps other Mediterranean restaurants have similar portion sizes, but I slightly hesitate to come back here due to the amount of salmon and chicken we received.

I ordered to-go this time, and this panini grill never disappoints, which makes it perfect for when I have guests over. Even after the drive home, the food was still fresh, warm, and perfectly crispy. It's so rare to find a place where the to-go quality is just as amazing as dining in. Everyone loved it! Definitely my go-to spot for hosting.

Came here for lunch on a Monday. Clean restaurant. The food was good, but pricey for the amount of meat you get (see picture). My steak kebab plate was $22.99 and there was hardly any meat. Also I asked for well done and one piece of meat was medium. The service was too slow on this particular day. I had to get up and ask for the check. The waitress comes over with a portable card reader. I dislike this way of paying. This restaurant should be order at the counter. My coworker liked her chicken panini and hummus appetizer. I will not return as there's other options that make delicious kabob plates with order at the counter service.

Great food! Great service! Panini Kabob never disappoints. Their Salmon Scampi is my favorite. In fact, any dish they prepare with salmon is awesome.

Good food and service! Place is clean and nice. The tiramisu for desert is a must try!

I always enjoy eating at Panini Kabob Grill. This location is a bit smaller than some of the others, and with limited seating, it fills up quickly so it's best to arrive early to avoid a long wait. The service is exceptional, and the food is consistently flavorful and cooked perfectly. We ordered the family platter and upgraded the skewers: instead of three chicken skewers, we chose one chicken, one steak, and one koobideh for a small additional charge. All the proteins were good. I recommend trying them all.

I love this place! The food has been consistently good all the times I have had their food. The flavors are rich, the food is perfectly seasoned, and none of the items I have gotten have come out too oily. The tangier salads all pair beautifully with the slightly heavier protein options. I also love how friendly the service is! The indoor and outdoor seatings are also quite appealing to the eyes. I am a big fan of the more vintage aesthetic of this location. It's perfect for date nights.

I have had food from here several times, and I find it to be average as far as flavor goes. We came here today and did a lunch pick up for an order I'd placed online. Customer service was great. The waitresses and cashier were very pleasant and friendly. The inside is small, and there's also a little patio up front which seems nice. The food itself though is a little lacking in flavor. I ordered spicy hummus which wasn't very tasty or spicy. The tzatziki sauce was also kinda bland and disappointing. We came here because of how close to home it was, it had been a long while since I'd eaten here, and likely won't be back anytime soon.

I never have a bad experience with panini kabob. They are always consistent with their food and service! This Brea location is found right next to pho ha, and has a small outdoor patio with seating for about 12 The interior is also cozy, seating about 20. This used to be a gyukaku Japanese grill. I placed my order via their website for the first time and it was so seamless! Because they prepare everything fresh; there is usually a 20 min wait once you order is placed. Being able to order ahead is a game changer!!! We got the 2 piece koobadeh plate and it was amazing per usual! Hands down I think panini kabob has one of the best beef koobadehs around. A great value for great food, if you're in the area, it's a solid meal choice!!

Fresh, tasty and plentiful. Had the lamb kabob platter and the lamb was so tender. The brown rice was extremely flavorful and fluffy. White rice was bland so I would not recommend it. Mediterranean salad was excellent and the bread basket yummy. We sat outside so it was a bit slow on service but otherwise good.

I went with my family for lunch. This was my first time eating here. I ordered the steak panini and it was about $17. The meal came with a side of soup or salad. I got the chicken soup. The shredded chicken was bland and the soup overall wasn't flavorful. The steak sandwich was bland and dry. The bell peppers and pickles had more flavor than the steak. I tried my sister's salmon kabob and that was tastier! I wish the steak had that char grilled taste or Mediterran flavors. I wouldn't order the steak panini again. The service was decent, the restaurant was busy. The ambiance was okay, we sat outside for lunch. The food took a while but we were in no rush.

Lestat is the man! Came here twice and bro is providing exceptional service on a daily basis. Always on top of everything and cracking jokes, feel like soft people wouldn't be able to take it though lol. He gave us amazing recommendations and answered our questions. I've had two of their kabobs before, one being their chicken and the other chicken and beef. Both were exceptional and the perfect amount of food. The rice is so tasty here too. (Charbroiled ABF & Beef Koobideh). Pricing is just right for Mediterranean food too. This location is also perfect for large groups as they have indoor and outside seating.

PKG will get busy during peak dining hours! Fortunately, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating and they get you seated pretty quickly. I've tried a few of their paninis, but the strawberry date salad is what has me coming back! It is a beautiful combination of sweet and savory flavors that make your taste buds sing. The sweet of the strawberries and dates married with the savory tang of the vinaigrette and the blue cheese crumbles are crave-worthy! I've usually had this as a side, but it would also be amazing as an entree by adding a protein. Although you have one main server, the staff works together as a team to serve customers. The ambiance is family friendly and inviting. I've had the chicken Parmesan panini and the salmon and Brie panini. The chicken parm comes with a marinara dipping sauce, but even with that, it was on the dry side and the chicken itself was very thin. The salmon and Brie one, however, was pretty amazing. The salmon was perfectly prepared, very moist, tender, and flaky. The addition of the Brie makes this sandwich something special!

We ordered a variety of skewers and sides: - Smashed cucumber salad was refreshing and one of my favorites veggie dish - Lamb and Beef skewers were decent and tender - Special pork jowl had a good fatty texture and great flavor. - Grilled eggplant and scallops were decent as well. Some items were more hit-or-miss for me. The signature chicken wings came out dry & overcooked, and the chicken skin was super crispy almost like air-fried chips -- personally I prefer chicken skin freshly grilled with a softer texture. The beef tongue skewers were sliced too thin, and okra were dry. Service was understandable for how busy they were, but it could be hard to flag someone down during peak dinner time. Overall, I'd say the food quality was okay but not the best skewers I've had, especially at around $50 per person for our group. Still, it's a convenient and lively place for late-night skewer gatherings with friends if you're in the area.
