My friend took me here to have the experience of "shiny shiny" mirror nails! Not all salons do this finish, so I was excited to try it! Oh my goodness am I in love! I got the spa pedicure with 20 min massage and it was so heavenly. The pedicure chairs are massage chairs as well! Once i saw how my mirror toes came out, I had to get it done on my nails too! I have been coming to Olive Tree for a few years! They are always so so happy to see us!! I do not get my hands done, I only get pedicures. I get what is called "mirror finish" or as I call it, "shiny shiny"!!!! It's a gel polish that hardens with the UV light. Normally I get the black undercoat with the silver powder rubbed in. I can't begin to count how many people stop me and ask about my toes!! It looks fantastic, lasts a good 5-6 weeks (depending on when I need my nails to be cut) it never chips, peels or looks bad!!! It costs a little extra but it's so worth it!! This time I wanted to try something different so I chose a dark purple undercoat. With the silver powder it looks like a dark purple metallic shade.... it's fantastic!!! People at work are raving about it!!! This will be your new favorite spa!!! read more

As nice as the nail tech was, my oowder gel manicure was the worst I've ever had. As someone who gets them done every 3-4 weeks, I am severely upset that I'm stuck with these disastrous nails for the next couple of weeks! I would not recommend this place. read more

No complaints about how my nails look when I leave here. Sophia has been doing my powder gel and I love them every time. She always shapes well and my nails never look bulky. Three weeks and they stay perfect. The salon is clean, everyone is happy and not in a bad or rude mood like some other nail salons. I went here to get a gel manicure and the nail lady kept cutting my cuticles and made them bleed. She saw them bleeding and didn't even stop. Three days later my finger blew up so I went to the doctor. The doctor said that I got an infection because they cut me and the tools might have not been clean. read more

If I could give this nail salon zero stars, I would in a heartbeat! I visited this salon today simply because I had a gift certificate that was going to expire. Got a spa pedicure which was rushed and sloppy. For $40, you'd expect better service. The spa pedicure comes with a 10 minute massage, all she did was rub my legs even after I told her I like a stronger massage. She spent most of the time speaking to her co-workers and looking around the salon. After the spa pedicure, I went to work on my hand nails and this part of my visit was the worst!! I had acrylic gel which needed to be soaked ... she then proceeded to use the electric filing machine and there were bits flying into my face! I didn't say anything until she burned my finger with the machine ... her work was rushed the WHOLE TIME!!!! She couldn't even soak everything off and then said they were charging me $10 for the soak. At that point, I said if you're going to charge me $10 to soak you should at least remove everything ... she laughed like it was funny. I didn't find anything funny and told her if she didn't rush as much, maybe she wouldn't hurt me multiple times. That's when who I assume is the owner, Jessie, stepped in to help the situation. I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone! I get my nails done all the time and I left this place furious! The place itself is very nice, clean, and seems new. I got a nexgen manicure (the powder color). Price was $35, which seems to be the going rate. I'm new to the area and had been getting SNS nails (same concept) for a while. My nails would last 3-4 weeks, no issues. I could tell this job wasn't going to last, and I was right. The woman did 2 coats of color, where my previous place did 3, plus some other powder to help seal it. It's been 3 days, and I've already got a big chip in one nail. Grrrr. I also hate when you're offered an additional service but not told it's extra $. Some places give a complimentary massage. Here, she asked if I wanted a massage while my nails were soaking, so I said ok. It was $10. I guess I shouldn't assume anything is free... Stay away from this place. I came in for just a regular pedicure and told the woman doing my nails that's all I wanted. A regular pedicure is supposed to cost $18. When I got to the register to pay they said the price is going to be $26. I was shocked. Why am I getting charged $8 more than it was supposed to be? Owner tells me that my pedicurist had removed a callous from my foot. Which I never ever agreed to. Never was I asked if I wanted this service never did she speak of an extra charge. I was very clear when I just asked for a regular pedicure. They wanted to charge me $26 when It should have only cost me $18. Scam much? They in the end took the price down $23. Still not happy. Why would you charge people for things they don't agree to. Terrible customer service and poor communication. Will not be back here and will tell everyone I know to stay away. read more

I can't speak higher about this place. I am a local customer and am thankful I have this clean, welcoming, pleasant looking salon to come to. Jessie has made this business a "family" one. I've been coming here for years and she is by far my favorite owner. She knows my name, is kind, and does my nails beautifully. She and her staff are polite and professional. I have had mishaps w my nails when using a new product and they fixed my nails for free. She stands behind her work and that speaks volumes. I get a 10min massage every time and Suzzie is great. Prices are 100% fair- I really Don't know what the other reviews were talking about. My gel powder and regular manicure are the same as what my friends pay at other places. A wonderful little place to come for a quick manicure or spa pedicure & massage. They also run specials and have a discount card. When this place was Amazing Nails, I literally LOVED it. I came every two weeks. The new owner, Jessie, took over and everything went downhill. I always feel rushed, and the service is awful. The girl who did my toenails was paying absolutely no attention whatsoever. She was too busy looking over at the front desk to listen to the owner's conversation with another customer. She was literally looking there, and filing the knucles of my toes - not my toenails. I also have more polish on my skin than my actual nails. The pedicure I got states in the description they use hot stones, I got no hot stones. She told me that they don't include that anymore... Brand new price lists! You just opened! And everything has already changed? She told me you old get them now if you pay for 10 min massage. Pathetic. Nickle and dime you for everything. Final nail in the coffin - I have their "visit nine times, 20% off tenth visit" card ... I was full, and due my 20% off this visit. They even told me on my last visit that I get it next time. I went to pay, and she told me I couldn't use it today anymore, now you have to do the tenth visit, and 20% off your 11th visit. Oh, well... Anna acted like she didn't even want to come in that day, she was very rough and nasty the entire time. She ended up cutting my thumb during my manicure. I've been going to Olive Tree for about 3 years now-- it's clean, spacious, has nice manicurists, and a good color selection-- BUT I'll now only go for a regular mani or pedi. In the last 6 months, I've received a gel mani 4 times, and EVERY time, I've had a bad experience. Either they don't paint the corners/tips, it lasts for only 1 week, or they just rush the job and I leave feeling like I overpaid. I've even paid extra for the brands they suggested are "better." Overall, I like their convenient location and cleanliness (they even sanitize their tools in the individual blue bags!)... so I'll continue to be a customer, but again, for just regular mani services. read more
