Staff are super friendly. Food was just so so. Very disappointed in the brunette Sunday. I think they forgot to add the basil. I certainly didn't taste any. The gluten-free bread was great though! The ceasar was really good too. Nice and tangy. I had the gf Caliente Chicken. It was okay but the flavors were a little odd. Hubs had the crab cake Italiano. He was really disappointed. Said the crab cakes seemed frozen and/ or overcooked, as they were tough. We did really enjoy the flourless chocolate cake. Nothing felt freshly prepared though. Bistro style Italian restaurant in Tyler Texas we stopped in hungry and ready to eat! Good news was the restaurant smelled great, scent of garlic in the air! We started with the fried calamari, it was solid at a 7 and comes with a very good marinara sauce and a sharp horse radish tarter ? Both were very good Dinner was chicken marsala over a bed of angel hair as well as chicken scallopini with spinach over angel hair . Both were interesting takes as the sauce is cream based and misses the sharpness of the traditional version I'm used to but the dish was appropriately described Final was a tasty BIG piece of cheese cake , no issues here :) read more

The food just underwhelming. I got the portifino pizza. Supposed to have chicken on in. No chicken. They spinach pasta tasted like a frozen dinner. The pepperoni bread prob was the best thing. Kids meals took forever because they were changing out the oil. Waitress was did a good job. Husband got the chicken parm. He said it was ok, Olive Garden is much better. Won't be back. It's a pretty enough restaurant. When you walk in there are chairs stacked on the benches where people wait. Not very welcoming. We were seated quickly and waited on quickly. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and my daughter ordered pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken. Our food came out quickly. My daughter said it was the worst Alfredo she had ever had. My Caesar was ok. Maybe there are better things on their menu. Probably won't go back to find out. read more

In town for business and I've been looking at this restaurant for days now and the reviews. Tonight finally gave it a try and I was super impressed and absolutely loved the meal. The service was extremely efficient and courteous. The bruschetta was so rich in taste. I very much enjoy the shrimp scampi dinner; though wasn't in the mood for shrimp. I asked if they can prepare the dish without shrimp, but adding tomatoes, mushrooms, and broccoli. The response was, sure~absolutely. It came out tasting so delicious and the sauce was amazing. Well I used waitr to order a Greek salad with chicken. the salad was 15 bucks, with delivery and taxes the order came to 31 bucks. I didn't even order a drink since there was not an option for drinks in the app. I figured for a 15 dollar salad I should be getting a pretty good size salad. Well I was very disappointed when I finally got my salad to see how small it was. The attached photo is the small Greek salad that cost me 15 bucks, 31 total for delivery that took them almost 2 hours to get to me. Not impressed at all. To start we ordered bruschetta, it was a pita bread served with a martini glass full diced tomatoes drenched in cheap balsamic and an overdose of garlic. Nothing like a traditional bruschetta. The chicken Parmesan was completely flavorless, we were very disappointed that most of the dishes that would typically be served with a starch and vegetable just came served on top of a bed of pasta. I highly recommend this place as a go-to for Italian food! All the flavors were authentic and flavorful, not to mention a proportionate amount of food, without being overly excessive. The price point is accurate to the quality! I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with the $2.50 up charge of cauliflower rice, instead of angel hair pasta, YUMMY! The calamari appetizer is great with 2 sauce options and it even had vegetables fried in the mix. We also ordered the trio to sample the menu and it was exceptionally delicious! The bad in my opinion were the breadsticks way too doughy and not enough seasoning. Tyler always has bad water so that would also be a negative, otherwise AWESOME place to try!!! read more

We ordered the Chicken Alfredo off the 2 for $22 menu. Service was great but the pasta had barely any chicken and mushrooms. The appetizer of bread sticks was great though. The booth seats we were seated in were ripped on both sides which my date complained about. Not a good look to take someone out to a place with torn up seats. Their cedar plank salmon is great and my employees have always loved coming here. Hope they can make some improvements to stay on top of the local scene. read more

Unfortunately the kind staff and quick service could not overshadow the food. We ordered a lasagna that was five layers of pasta with nothing between them , then some meat and a little cheese and then five more layers of pasta. The middle was still ice cold. The crab cake pasta was okay but the crab cakes were stale and cold (lore like hokey pucks). The pizzas had very little cheese and sauce. However- I would highly recommend the jalapeño risotto- but that is all we found even appetizing. read more

First time visiting and the food was wonderful! For starters, the bruschetta (sundae) was so very good. Full of flavor and nice portion too for two adults to share. I ordered a chicken with spinach entree and it was so good. The chicken and pasta were perfectly cooked and the Alfredo tasted like homemade (very rich). I have ordered two times from there and they closed and I didn't receive my food. First time they called a hour after I preordered. Second time and my final time they didn't call me at all but said they called and a out of state woman answered the phone. I will never give them my business again. We went to Oliveto's for the first time with a group of 28. My hubby and I had to leave in short order, and our waiter got our food out quickly. My husband said the salmon salad was very good. I had the tortilla soup that was good even though it tasted more like chili with beans. The rest of the service was slow due to management only assigning one server (who did a great job) to our table, but our group didn't mind because we were enjoying catching up with each other since we only meet quarterly. read more

Order food to go and ordered the pesto alfredo pizza and was disappointed to find 10 little pieces of chicken and no alfredo, only pesto cheese and a little bit of chicken. My co-workers also ordered and their food was equally disappointing with one of their pizzas not having the spinach, bacon or jalapenos bc she chose "no dipping sauce" that does not mean remove sauce from the pizza! The last coworker order the chicken alfredo lunch duo with a house salad and was given a very small portion with all chicken and hardly any bowtie pasta. When we called to see if a resolution could be found we were told sorry there is nothing we can do to help you. The waitress brought my platter out and as she sat it in front of me, I caught a whiff of my food and got the overwhelming smell of wine. I figured maybe a touch of wine was a "secret" recipe if theirs, and took the first, and only bite of my food. There was no lemon, there was no butter.
