A chorizo and a steak taco

We have visited many times over the years, and each experience has been consistently positive. The service is reliable, and the food is excellent. The menu is updated regularly, reflecting seasonal availability and evolving flavors. During our most recent visit, we tried the wings, which were well-seasoned and flavorful, as well as the quesadillas, which were substantial and well-prepared. We look forward to returning and consider this one of the best pan‑Latin restaurants in Northern Virginia.

I come to stafford a lot for work and the food scene is less than impressive. This might be my new favorite spot!!! I came with a large group and we were seated with no issue around 6 but shortly thereafter it was packed. I started with the regular margarita which was delicious. Not too sweet, which is always what I'm looking for. For dinner I ordered the Olla Parriada. I think they accidentally gave me the fajitas mixtas minus the tortillas bc the colleague who ordered that, had her food missing. She did have to wait 8-10 mins for a replacement and then our dishes looked the same and I realized mine didn't have chorizo like it was supposed to. Either way, we both found it delicious! The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauces were delicious! Love a protein forward option. I also ordered the papusa birria queso, which was a good deal for the price. Also tasty!

After my wife and I shared, so much food.

Some of the best street tacos I've had in the area! I had the chicken and shrimp. The chia strawberry lemonade was a perfect treat with the meal on a super hot summer day. I'm definitely going back for more! Part 2: It took me 18 days, but I swung back for a solo lunch. This time I got the gambas al ajillo appetizer, a side of Brussels sprouts (for something green) and the chia lemonade (of course). The shrimp was absolutely incredible. I might have to see if the chef will be willing to share his recipe! This might be my new favorite local spot.

It's been a year since my first visit and have made it here many times. Enjoy sitting at the bar, having great food and cold Spanish beer on tap. I will be back in 2025! Stop by and check them out. Enjoy!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! I was visiting for the weekend at the hotel across the street and was looking for some tasty food in the area. The restaurant is not large but has ample seating inside and outside the restaurant for various party sizes. The menu has amazing choices. My friends and I indulged in the pupusas, empanadas, the tacos and my favorite dish, the olla parriada. The olla parriada was super flavorful with a mix of all the meats the restaurant had to order. The portion size was huge and I definitely had enough to take home for leftovers. For drinks, we shared a bottle of red wine which was delicious as well. Service was great and helpful! All the servers we interacted with were very kind. They made sure we had everything we needed and even split the checks. Due to the restaurant being in a strip mall, there was ample parking. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I finally got to try this place randomly on a Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, I noticed that the restaurant had a cool vibe. We were seated right away by our friendly server. She was able to make some recommendations that were to our liking. We tried the empanadas, mixed fajitas, and the birria tacos. Everything was good. The food was so flavorful, and had a great presentation. My only complaint was that my chicken and steak had a considerable amount of fat on it, which was annoying. If it wasn't for that, I would have given this place 5 Stars. 4 Stars

Overall great experience. The restaurant was skittle smaller than I was hoping for but was quaint and nice. The birria tacos are some of my favorite and I like a good birria taco. The sunset margarita was very tasty. I also got an order of their homemade chips, salsa and queso which were really good as well. I sat at the bar and the service was great,

It was my first time there and i was actually really surprised; the food was really good and the ambiance was nice. I'm definitely going to come back. Also the service? the workers were really nice.

I only came for the birrira tacos and it did not disappoint. Place is small inside, parking is little hard if it's lunch time. I'm definitely gonna come back for more items but the birria is delicious, gooey and cheesy. Consome is perfect, not too salty.

SOLID little hole in the wall in an unassuming strip mall off route 1. Probably would have kept passing by without the recommendation from a friend. So here's my recommendation: go order the birria tacos! That's really all you need to know. Full bar available but we didn't try any drinks this time. No fountain drinks, cans and bottles only. Chips and salsa were great! It's not the stuff your face all you can eat like a big restaurant. These are fresh made chips with some sort of seasoning on them! The papusas are on point as well!

Excellent service, great drinks. It's small and cute inside. Try the tacos, they're so yummy! And the mocajete salsa is so spicy and delish!

Their menu prices online do not match their pricing in the restaurant. I was charged over $10 difference pretty deceiving.

We had a larger group and they handled all the drinks and orders easily! Food came out quickly and was good. I got the bandera enchiladas so I could try the different sauces and I think the green was my favorite! Nice and flavorful, spicy (mild) without being too hot. The mango margarita tasted like they used Jumex juice which was really nice. The inside is cute and very kitschy. Decorated very brightly and vibrant with lots of decorations, colors, and lights. There are cute artificial trees in the main seating room too. Tons of table space and lots of areas for large groups too, so this would be a great spot for a birthday dinner I think!

Every dish was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served sizzling hot. The seafood in the Del Mar fajitas was especially fresh and delicious. We fully expected it to be busier than normal and were completely understanding of that going in. Our party of three was seated right away, which honestly ended up being the only positive part of the evening. We were seated around 5:10 PM and did not leave until almost 8 PM... without ever receiving our meals. For nearly 50 minutes, we grazed on chips and salsa, queso, and guacamole before we were finally able to place our order. After ordering, we continued waiting while table after table around us received their food, ate, paid, and left multiple times over. At one point, our waitress came by and told us the kitchen was "very behind," but it was difficult to understand how our order seemed completely forgotten while everyone surrounding us was being served normally. After sitting there for hours, we finally decided we were no longer willing to wait. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of accountability. There was no real apology, no attempt to make the situation right, and nothing was comped despite the circumstances. We understand holiday rushes happen, but being left sitting for nearly three hours without food while watching surrounding tables cycle through multiple parties was frustrating and unacceptable. Unfortunately, it's safe to say we will not be returning.

The experience got off on the wrong foot immediately with the chips and salsa, which failed to make an impression, and unfortunately, the meal didn't improve much from there. The rice was disappointing, and the refried beans were completely unremarkable--just a filler on the plate. I opted for the Carne Asada Street Tacos, but the beef was dry and a bit chewy, lacking the tenderness or seasoning you'd expect from a street-style taco. There were two bright spots: * Guacamole: This was actually quite good and easily the best part of the meal. * Beer Selection: It was refreshing to see draft beer offered in three distinct sizes (16, 25, and 32 oz), which is a nice touch for a casual sit-down spot. Overall, it's a fine place if you just want a massive beer and some decent guac, but the actual kitchen output leaves a lot to be desired. Good Mexican restaurant decor.

The menu describes the tostadas as "crispy corn tortillas topped with refried beans, shredded chicken, fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, sour cream, and queso fresco." What I received looked nothing like the description or photo--just two very small tostadas with shredded chicken and cabbage (see my photo). No avocado, tomatoes, sour cream, or queso fresco. The online photos also made it appear that the pupusas and steak tacos came as two per order, but that wasn't what we received. In total, we paid $45.97 for two small tostadas, three pupusas, and one carne asada taco. For the portions we received, the price was shocking. When I called to ask about the discrepancies, the employee told me, "Then don't order food here," and then hung up on me. If you decide to eat here anyway, don't use the restaurant's preferred online ordering site. DoorDash pickup prices appeared to match the advertised menu, while the restaurant's own online ordering site did not. The food tasted good, but the misleading online menu and rude customer service completely ruined the experience.
