I came with a large group and we were seated with no issue around 6 but shortly thereafter it was packed. I started with the regular margarita which was delicious. Not too sweet, which is always what I'm looking for. For dinner I ordered the Olla Parriada. I think they accidentally gave me the fajitas mixtas minus the tortillas bc the colleague who ordered that, had her food missing. She did have to wait 8-10 mins for a replacement and then our dishes looked the same and I realized mine didn't have chorizo like it was supposed to. Either way, we both found it delicious! Some of the best street tacos I've had in the area! I had the chicken and shrimp. The chia strawberry lemonade was a perfect treat with the meal on a super hot summer day. I'm definitely going back for more! Part 2: It took me 18 days, but I swung back for a solo lunch. I finally got to try this place randomly on a Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, I noticed that the restaurant had a cool vibe. We were seated right away by our friendly server. We went on a Wednesday around 4pm. It was our first time there. We ordered the Not Cho Chips with guacamole, and added a side of salsa. Then got the birria tacos, with the consomé broth to split. We didn't care for the chips and salsa, but thought the guacamole was decent (we're spoiled with table side guacamole, which this is not). I really enjoyed their birria tacos, but definitely prefer another local restaurants birria. The restaurant itself is quaint and super clean! Overall, service was good, until it was time to settle the check. They have the option to pay on your phone with the QR code, which is what we did. When the waitress asked us if we were ready to pay, I told her that we had just paid with the QR code. She told us to "hold on" before we left, so she could check and see that the amount cleared on their end. Upon checking the register, apparently it wasn't showing that we had taken care of the check. So she asked for "proof". My husband had to pull up his bank account on his phone, and show a pending transaction for "Olla Café", matching the amount that we were charged, and also including the tip I added. I thought that that was extremely inappropriate and tacky. For one thing, with him having to pull this up, he also inadvertently was disclosing a lot of private information in regards to his account, including the balance available! There was no way to show the pending transaction, without also this popping up. She kept staring at it, until I literally had to push his phone down with my hand, and confirm that the transaction was complete. We will not dine here again! Either trust that the customer has paid, or remove the option to pay with a QR code. Because we pay with the QR code at many different restaurants, and we get up and leave. Never have we had a restaurant request to see "proof" on our bank account that we actually paid. We've never had a restaurant staff say, "Hold on, before you leave, let me check..." nothing of the sort. Like I said, poor manners, tasteless on their part, and offensive enough, that I will never return. Pozole was my favorite among the 3. In my opinion the steak should have been cut against the grain. It has some chew to it. I was chewing for a minute . Flavor was good but even better with the lime. It had that great peppery taste to it . Chips was in the soup that gave it that texture in every bite. Tacos was okay. It needs to be salted a little bit after cooking too , so the flavor of the protein would shine even more. Ive been here for dine in a few times and we were lax on time so we didn't mind the 40* min wait. Although today I placed an order for pick up at 12:20 and received notification the order would be ready at 1:07. I didn't get the food until 1:38. I overheard the servers discussing my order and she said the kitchen didn't see the menufy ticket which i guess is the online ordering platform. So that even though a customer who came in an order food as i walked in to grab mine at 1:07, they were called and told to come get their food at 1:26. Everything was amazing! The appetizer, main entree and dessert. The churros were crunchy and soft at the same time (not sure how they made that happen). The fry sweet plantains were cook to perfection and very sweet. The paella was flavorful and plenty. We also got the salmon which was moist and delicious; it came with a lemon cream sauce that really enhanced the flavor of the whole meal. The chicken empanadas were epic. This is the best Pozole I've ever had! I can't find anything like it. Definitely worth the drive up.

We've gone here a few times, and as other reviews reveal, the food is good and the service can be poor. They also utilize financial slight of hand. First, by charging an extra 3.6% if you pay by card, which you don't find out until you get your bill. If a restaurant is going to charge more for credit card, they should inform customers in advance (so they can choose to leave), not after they get their bill. Second, they add a 20% service charge for parties of 4 or more. The 20% is a 'service charge', not a tip. I say that because a tip should be for excellent service, but you pay the 20% whether the service is excellent or not, which encourages more poor service. Even though I don't like the above practices, I get it, which is why I gave 3 stars and not 1. This is a small business (literally not very many seats), so they probably cannot pay their wait staff a lot. But they do focus on good food, which they do produce. The prices are relatively low, so the extras they throw in, don't drive me away. The poor service might some day, but for now, I say, be prepared to pay a little extra, and to not receive as much love as you may be used to. Recommended Dish: Street tacos read more

This is a little place but it's cute, very clean and the staff is really friendly. We ordered the street tacos. I had the steak. It was perfectly seasoned. It has a little kick for those that are sensitive to spice. My husband had the pork. It was good but he said it reminded him of pulled pork bbq.
