Visited on Cinco de Mayo (May 5, 2026) and encountered significant billing inconsistencies that raised serious concerns. My son was initially charged $34.39 for two frozen mango margaritas at the bar. Later, he went back up to the bar ordered one frozen strawberry margarita (listed at $15) and a tequila shot ($6), yet was charged $58.46. When I questioned, the female bartender about the price of a frozen margarita, and shot she immediately stated it was $15 and $6 stated that they thought the two earlier frozen mango margaritas had not been paid for. Obviously that was a false statement because they would've never allowed a patriot to walk away without paying for drinks from the bar this was just a way to justify them overcharging him. Although a refund was issued after I raised the issue, it was still inaccurate only $30 was returned instead of the full $34.39, excluding tax. Additionally, no apology or clear explanation was provided. This experience reflects poorly on the establishment's billing accuracy and transparency. Customers should carefully review their charges, as pricing appears inconsistent for identical items. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment. read more

That being said, I just had an order delivered for lunch and literally after my first bite, I look down and see a black hair in my burrito. It wasn't just ON the burrito but tucked inside. So impressed by this Mexican place next to a Hooters and Waffle House. The margarita flights and mojito flights were super cheap ($16) and amazing. They tasted like juice. Highly recommend the guava. We did not eat a bad thing. You can tell a lot about a Mexican restaurant by the quality of the beans, and these were creamy and delightful. The house salsa was tangy and surprising, the tacos were flavorful, and the burritos were stuffed with French fries. Even a picky 8-year-old found something. Sauces on the side were fantastic. The food was delicious. Service was merely ok but we had a server in training and it didn't detract from our visit. Had some drinks and apps here a week or so ago. The guacamole was excellent, but the queso was a bit flavorless and on the thick side for what queso should traditionally be. That being said, the drinks were excellent, and the service was mostly fast. We waited a bit longer than we probably should have to get the check, but that could also be due to the fact that we were socializing and the server wanted to leave us be. We were immediately seated and our waitress told us of the many drinks they had. My wife went with a frozen mango margarita and I got a sweet tea. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and they were really good. We ordered some birria tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The food came out really quick and we were shocked with how much there was. The quesadilla was stuffed with chicken and the barria tacos were filled as well. Each came with a side of rice and beans. The flavors were wonderful in all of the food and the service was great.
